Which phone and which ROM are u on?

it can be resolved on notification settings. I have used both Chinese and EU rom and solved the problem on both. It normally happens with GBwatsapp

pls share how u solved it for GBwhtsap

The only remedy is to flash a developer rom which is not yet available pr custom miui rom.. When i unlocl mine am goig to flash xiaomi eu rom.... So that shit will be solved.. Same tin fr pocophone f1.. Rn7... R7 etc

I downloaded playstore from mi store, then got every other Google apps from playstore... That's if you can't wait like me for 15 days to unlock bootloader, root ,install twrp, and flash gapp

Only challenge u may face is restoring ur contacts from Google if you had it backed up there b4, it's a small challenge , dou it took me time to figure out
