It will be impossible to say how true it is for an Suv like 2003 Highlander to have 10k Odometer reading.
You could run a Carfax records on it to check the history.

It is highly impossible for a car of 2003 with a mileage of 10,000 miles. Even a bicycle would have made double of that. Ask the seller for the VIN and do an auto check on it. Many people on Nairaland can do dat for you. Best of luck.

Though am an Honda I would advice you go for 03 highlander.It is very cool ride like others on your list but the fact that it has a very good second hand value makes it the one to go for.
My very candid opinion.

Nissan Murano my first choice

i used a Nissan Ultima and it never gave me any major problem and it maintenace cost is very low, My hubby uses a Nissan pathfinder and it is superb Never had any problem

Toyota Highlander My 2nd choice
i presently use a Toyota RAV4 which is very good but a bit more expensice to maintain, pple say becos of the high demand of toyota, the parts are quite expensive, so to me these are my choices for u.
