MiddleDimension: @all
Please tell me what you think about this uniform. I think they call it No 4.
I actually find it ugly and unbefitting of our service men. Also, the very fact I have not seen it on officers in other parts of the world, makes me wonder why our men and officers in all the military and paramilitary services wear it.
What's worse, it appears to be so common among our officers.
@SouthAfricans
Do your officers wear this? Can you show me pictures of officers in other part of the world wearing the same thing?
I think the worst of them all is the army's because of the colour.
Aside this particular uniform, all the others are fine, in my opinion. I think you should do more findings bros. |

naptu2: Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, President And Commander In Chief Of The Armed Forces Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
ADC = Colonel Mustapha Dennis Onoyivetta (Nigerian Army).
Colonel Mustapha Onoyiveta from Delta State served as ADC to President Yar'Adua from 2007-2010. He played a controversial role while protecting the President during his illness, especially when the President suddenly returned to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia.
He was subsequently promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and posted to the Army Headquarters as head of the Army Operations Monitoring Team. He later served as Chief of Staff to the Chief of Army Staff (Generals Ihejirika and Minimah). He is still serving as a Major General now. |

Sad, I can relate abit to this because I was in the same shoes with my father. We don't have an excellent relationship till date because what happened then.
Man wanted me to study medicine but I also wanted to be in the army, and he swore over his dead body having experienced what it was to be a soldier coupled with the loss of my elder brother in the Navy during the Niger Delta crisis.
I got into Ife and left medicine after one year to NDA to my dreams, he was so mad and did all he could to get me out, I suffered ehnn.
It took me years to go home plus fate putting us together in the same unit but as his officer commanding, I would see this man and avoid walking towards him because I knew how he felt about everything and having to salute me everyday till I got redeployed from that unit.
I also had to forgive him too.
Your husband should apologize to him and connect with him emotionally, it wouldn't happen overnight but he should give it a trial. 17 Likes 1 Share |

CodeTemplar: That isn't the issue here. Even if we are all just broke and young as your said, why should two people who truly love themselves leave the responsibility of showing love to one party always.
The idea of a man being a provider was inspired by the Holy bible and was for his household or immediate family. The love of money and social pattern of ladies being approached has slowly allowed greed to creep into romantic relationships. like I said, you all being broke and young is a summative assessment. Broke for obvious reasons and young in age, mindset and exposure. I never had to nurge my wife to reciprocate in giving and etc even when we were dating. 13 Likes 3 Shares |
