It's February competition. I only managed to attain that bcuz US30 and NAS were pretty straight forward. If I can resist the temptation of always being in the market even when I couldn't spot a clean set up, I knw I'ld do more. But then... fomo is real

I have uninstall and install just to get the feature but my mt5 don't have it.

I just updated mine and saw it. Go to chart settings, u'ld see SL/TP levels. Check the box and u re good

3k USD you lost, I lost the sum of 13k USD just last Thursday night on my one minute time frame scalping, when I picked one yeye incoming call from a friend, my eyes was glue in my screen to close the trade when the market start going contrary before the incoming call...

It is indeed easier said than done. Forex trading no hard oo na we no wan stay disciplined.

I decided to review my trade history to see the areas I need to improve on. I realized this: My greatest loss was when I delayed placing my stoploss cuz I needed to attend to my baby. I came back a few mins later to see that it has gone against me. I kept hoping it wld reverse at some key levels but no (I trade only Nasdaq and US30). I held the Nas position overnight (something I don't usually do) cuz I was still hopeful. During the news, it dipped further To cut the long story short, I suffered a 3k plus loss the next day. I had to close it eventually when I remembered that account preservation is sacrosanct. I couldn't imagine losing a 200k account God gifted me straight from heaven.

I felt so bad that I contemplated going on a long break but I remembered that after such long candles, the reversal is always sweet to ride. So I went on standby mode and asked for God's help. I had to rebuke the spirit of indiscipline and fear cuz warrisdis!

To the glory of God, I've recovered all I lost because God helped me to maintain discipline. I entered the next trade only when I spotted my setup and I did that with appropriate risk management. I've broken even from almost 3% drawdown. Now my psychology is not messed up anymore.

I reiterate again, forex market no hard, na we no wan remain disciplined. Please learn from my mistakes 🙏

This is my first post on this thread this year. So, happy new year to all the bosses.

This January has been awesome for me. I won two challenge accounts via TFT giveaway within a space of two weeks!

So, I want to encourage those struggling to get an account to consider joining TFT discord. Lots of giveaways go on there almost everyday. They have a Google form where u'ld fill in ur social media profile links once, then go on and participate in giveaways. I think their method of selecting winners is transparent cuz they use random picker. Just keep participating, one day luck will shine on you.

You re right. I later saw their leverage for indices...very low.

See the pairs u trading.. indices requires a higher margin of any forex pair to open a position.

Your margin % level is 100% and you can get stopped out once your margin is around 50%.. Or Likely one of your entry has a wide margin

Now that makes sense. Maybe the margin requirement was increased suddenly cuz it wasn't like that earlier.

I got disqualified today but surprisingly I am not perturbed because it wasn't because of drawdown. I was on my way to recovering my initial losses when I inadvertently opened two lots position on my Darwinex account thinking I was on my tft account.

Thanks to this competition, I've seen a format to evade maximum drawdown. The next account I'ld buy would follow this Darwinex competition model- maximum of two trades. I'ld only open d second trade after I breakeven on the first. So help me God!

Exactly what I needed.

I decided to go on a break in order to reset after losing an account I purchased with my hard earned money. I found myself on a losing streak until I breached the maximum drawdown. It was really painful...but at least the point has been driven home. No setup is a given in this market...never over leverage. I guess losing the account was the only way I could have learnt this.

God will continue to bless Boss Infofirst for this amazing opportunity. Thanks Samfelly for all you do.

To trade multiple accounts is not easy. The constant decision making process not to hit DD, lot sizing and all is a lot of work.

This week treated you really well. Trading multiple is indeed a Herculean task.

I just managed to drag my TFT account back from some bad drawdown. I'm going slow and steady now... currently at 2% in TFT. News trading had always sent me packing from the competition in the past couple of months. Economic calendar is now my new best friend Once I see a high impact news in the lineup, I dey kukuma shift one side until Mr market becomes less volatile. I hope I continue to remain disciplined. So help me God!
