The Ochimba & paramount ruler of Umuebulu Town in Etche LGA of Rivers State Eze James Chisom NWAGWU has commended the Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON, for his proactiveness in the fight against coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world. He thanked Sir Dr. Peter Odili, SPDC, TEPNG & OTHERS for their donations to the state government.

He applauded the ONYE-ISHI-ETCHE/OCHIE OF ETCHE and other monarchs of the LGA for their immense support to the state government directives in the fight against the deadly virus.

He frowned at the manner the ONYE-ISHI-AGWURU OF IGBO KINGDOM, KING DR SAMUEL NDIWE AMAECHI dumped the palliatives that belongs to Umuebulu community at the premises of his friend, Tony Ejiogu without his consent, nor his council of Chiefs and Elders. He wonders why King Dr Samuel Ndiwe Amaechi would continue to be involved in instigating communal crisis in Umuebulu town.

He berated the lawmaker representing the good people of Etche Constituency ll, Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Tony Uchechukwu Ejiogu for not obeying the governor's directives in the distribution of the palliatives donated by the state government and his inability to support state government within his constituency in the first againstCOVID-19.

The ochimba condemned in strongest term the manner at which the lawmaker distributed the palliatives to few of his cronies, leaving the majority members of the community and residents at their own peril, against the clear directives of the Governor. He advised the lawmaker to stop playing politics of bitterness and hatred rather pursue good governance for rapid development, security and prosperity of Umuebulu land and his constituency.

He advised his subjects to remain calm and always observe the social distancing, wearing of face mask in public places, washing of hands with soap and running water or alcohol based hand sanitizer.

He warned hotel owners, beer parlours, markets, shops, etc to obey the state government directives or face the full weight of the law. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Finally, I wish to use this opportunity to put a SOS to the Governor, the Speaker, Rivers state house of Assembly and the Commissioner of Police to call Hon. Tony Ejiogu to order. He should stop promoting communal war by parading himself as the paramount ruler of Umuebulu town under King Samuel N. AMAECHI.

About today, the 8th day of May, 2020 the Ochimba & paramount ruler of Umuebulu town in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers Eze Nwagwu James Chisom gave palliatives to the poor and vulnerable persons in his community. Before presenting the palliatives, he cautioned them to always obey the NCDC and the state government directives concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. He commended the Governor of Rivers State for his proactive and preventive measures put in place in the state to curtail the spread of the deadly virus. The king also berated the security agencies for sabotaging the efforts of the governor. The beneficiaries commended the Ochimba for remembering them and pray for his divine health, wisdom, understanding and God's protection and wished him a peaceful reign.

A House of Assembly member in Rivers State & his cohorts caught invoking juju. About today, Saturday 3rd March, 2018 around 2am Hon. Tony U. Ejiogu, Elder John Nwafor, Chukwuma Nwafor, Chidi Njoku, Amaechi Okere, Onyenaba, a prophet and police escorts visited the entire umuebulu community junctions, water fronts and the community town hall to carry out sacrifices without the consent and knowledge of the Community and it's Leadership if not by God's intervention & a good Samaritan who saw them live and informed few indigenous who confirmed the incident. The odd hour and unlawful gathering must be investigated thoroughly. We were also informed Amaechi Okere has made some confessions to his entire family who caught him on his way back from there evil assignment against the community and it's leadership. This matter should be given a serious attention irrespective of who is involved. There shall be no peace for evil men.

The entire Leadership, Elders, Women and Youths of Umuebulu Community, Etche LGA of Rivers State, led by H.R.H Eze James C. Nwagwu, the Ochimba and Paramount Ruler of Umuebulu Town,
Has unanimously agreed, resolved and endorsed Governor Wike for second tenure, due to his very outstanding leadership and developmental achievements so far, even amid very lean resources.

This grand endorsement was made when the Leadership of PDP Igboh Ward(3), led by Hon Bartholomew Okere, and several other stakeholders paid The king � a courtesy call, at his Palace in Umuebulu Community.
Hon. Bartholomew, the current Revenue Chairman of the LGA, is a great grassroots mobilizer in Etche LGA, who has some massive supports from all Etche sons and daughters across party divide.
He particularly enjoys a cult-like follows among the youths in Etche Constituency(2). And due the very electoral values he brings to his party, it is no longer a secret that Chief Ephriam Nwuzi has figured out Batho to contest, win and represent Etche Constituency(2), in the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The endorsement of the Governor today, was remarkable and is unprecedented in many ways than few.
First, it was done across party lines, as notably members of the community, from across different political leaning unanimously agreed and spoke in one voice, one after the other. They all agreed to deliver to PDP their bulk votes.

The Royal father further blessed, encouraged and endorsed Hon. Bartholomew, and assured him;
“that the entire Umuebulu Community is solidly behind him.”

The occasion also witnessed the presentation of Cow � and other items to the Paramount Ruler, by the leadership of PDP.

At the end, the Paramount Ruler reinforced the community resolution to ensure that victory is sure for Gov. Wike and all the other candidates of his party.

About yesterday, 15th January 2018.

Shell held an emergency meeting with the King of Umuebulu Land, H.R.H Eze James C. Nwagwu.

Also brought into the meeting was Hon Tony Ejiogu, a serving Member of Rivers State House of Assembly, Etche Constituency(11), without prior notice to the king.
Meeting was presided over by Mr. Evans Krukrubo, Corporate Community Interface Manager, East West Lagos, SPDC.

Sadly, the meeting ended in deadlock as SPDC continue to undermine the collective interests of Umuebulu people owing to a personal letter they claimed, was received from Hon Tony Ejiogu.

In overall;

It was Tony that discouraged SPDC from using the Gmou money to fix the deplorable roads in Umuebulu community, as already promised by the company.
He told SPDC to refuse on the grounds that they are not government.
Tony even assured them that he would prevail on the Governor of Rivers State to fix the roads, insisting that it is entirely the Governor’s responsibility.
Tony asked Shell to rather pay all the money directly to him.

On the fourteen compounds in Umuebulu, Tony vowed to reduce them to five, insisting that several compounds are not real indigenous members of Umuebulu Community.

Kindly circulate this message to every member of Umuebulu Community, Residents and the entire Etche people, for all to be aware of the gross injustice being perpetrated by Hon Tony Ejiogu. As it stands now, the community have no option than to resume her peaceful protest until justice is achieved.
