A suicide attack was averted at the College of Education in Zuba today as she entered into the girls hostel and tried to detonate a bomb. The quick action of the security agents and vigilant students prevented the attack as the suicide bomber took off along with the men who brought her.
There's no source for now as this info was passed on to me by a friend who was there.

This is something one wouldn't put beyond the former First Lady. She is a very strong-willed person and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. That much was clear during the elections. The police might as well forget about investigating. The killers will NOT be found. But they should know that sooner or later they will meet their own waterloo.

This is extremely annoying and I just can't stand it anymore. Even in Abuja which is supposedly the best planned city in the country there are no proper sidewalks. Was driving today and saw people running in mud while it was raining. This is supposed to be a developed city. What a shame. In developed countries, sidewalks take precedence over roads. Sometimes sidewalks are even wider than the roads(I'm talking about sidewalks that are suitable for even disabled people, eg people in wheelchairs). In Nigeria even pedestrian bridges are built without sidewalks. So you come down from a pedestrian bridge and step into mud. It shows absolute disrespect for the masses since the majority of them are pedestrians and not car owners. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this. Instead of beating up each other our lawmakers should push bills that would make it illegal to build roads without PROPER sidewalks.

In better climes they fight for their constituencies. In Nigeria they fight for personal interest and nothing else. Don't try to compare them. They are not the same.
