So students should disregard the rumour making round that those who earlier paid N20,000 would be made to pay the difference. For the avoidance of any doubt, there is no iota of truth about such a rumour. It is the handiwork of mischief makers who are out to sow the seed of discord in the system. OBSERVATION ON IMPROPER DRESSING AMONG NON-TEACHING STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY It has come to the attention of the Registrar that most non-teaching staff of the University are in the habit of dressing casually to office, most offensive of whom are administrative staff who are aspiring to become Registrar. It is important to state that just as good dressing boosts the personality of a staff, so too bad dressing detracts from his personality. In the light of the above, all non-teaching staff especially those in the Administrative Cadre are by this publication advised to in their own interest dress corporately to their offices henceforth, to create the aura of university administrators around them. Any non-teaching staff who flouts this advice, will be sanctioned accordingly.
