Politics / Re: Occupy Nigeria: Updates From Across The Nation by CarlosVent(m): 9:33pm On Jan 10, 2012
honeric01:

who cares about the east? we know they are politically dead there so who cares? even in delta state, there was protest so who cares what happens in that part of nigeria? is kaduna not a pdp state? is gombe also not a pdp state? what about the fct? what about benue?

you can keep typing shitz, it's a free world but you can't hide the truth!

WHat truth are you talking of ? is it that fuel subsidy should not be removed which has been done? instead of a strike action they are telling you to move to the streets and protest in a Religiously bigoted nation like Nigeria that takes every action into tribal reactions.

In Adamawa, Kaduna youths were protesting and went into the houses and shops of the Igbo's and looted. there was no protest in Aba but the hausa shops was looted also. in Enboyi little small group protest and the Ezia people went and killed 28 Ezza indigens. this happened because they were allowed to protest on the streets from one end to the other?

its your right and my right yes but some things that has worked in some countries cannot work here why Nigeria is religious and tribal conscious more than any country in the world and our raking we are the second most religious nation.

What truth also do you ask for that TUC/NLC leaders are not leading by example in the protest. have you heard that any of their relation or children came out to protest or died in it? or did you hear that they walked from one town to the other and are ready to sleep for 1 month on the street to continue the protest.

You also need to know the truth that money has exchanged hands and they are deceiving you. loosing your life to those wicked Mopol and Police people when you should have been in your home observing the strike action.

Pls lets call a spade and spade and face the fact. LEt the families of TUC/NLC Leaders come out with their mats to the streets then we shall join them and know they are ready to die for this nation then we shall know they are serious in what they are telling us. God Bless You.

naijababe:

According to Beaf yesterday, the protest was an epic failure. Is that still the case

Beef said the truth . it was mass failure yesterday and today the failure was just rounding up and packing its bags. in Imo state today 4 banks worked. abia state today called their workers to work. PH has meet with oil marketers and by tomorrow will be resuming work.
Abuja also called their workers to report this afternoon.

In Anambra state and Enugu there was nothing like street protest. filling stations and markets are going about their business. UNIZIK had lectures and Quiz today.

NLC and TUC heads are leading people astray. if they will come to any protest let them come with their legs and waterbottle of water and not in fleet of cars. let them come with their mats and wrapper so they can stage a protest that will ring a bell and people will see their seriousness and join in MASS.

had it been that LAGOS is PDP state or that the president is AC you wont see anyone coming out to waste his or her life in the name of protest.

Our people pls be wise if you must protest be in the middle and never be in front or at the back if not sit down and observe the strike. Labor/TUC are in money right now deceiving you and doing the work of the money they have picked.
God Bless You.

would you prefer destruction of properties, deaths or a chaotic environment  - The Last Uk strike against pensions was like a carnival  -

What  you should be worried about. Gradually the econonmy is being brought to a halt  - Remove Lagos , abuja and Kano . Nigeria would be finished.

which economy are you talking off. are the govt feeding on the tax they collect in these states you mention or from the oil money coming from SS and SE states?
where do you place Onitsha the Largest market city in Africa?

make sure of your records before taking.

I do hope that Igbo's will come back and invest in their homeland. its high time Nigeria decides the best way ahead to this tribal crises.

Leave the North lets see how they will survive. I do not blame them because their eyes has been opened now and they think they have wisened up. rubbish.

Shading innocent blood everyday and someone will come here to tell me that Muslim is religion of Peace. crap.

Family / Re: Help! How Much Will This Marriage List Cost? by CarlosVent(m): 12:41pm On Nov 03, 2011
Am igbo from anambra state and can i Know your state because from the readings i don't think its a typical anambra list.

all the same if your one daughter the list usually will be like this. but you guys should have someone there that will meet those Men to cut the list down.

if the total is like 200,000 naira tell them that you guys have 150,000. may be they know you guys are rich that's why they prepared something high. after all people living low life went in Nigeria here went through same procedure and this list wont be this much with this type of people.

Secondly if you guys have a popular family name and want to invite high profile people then you can even add to their list and make the event a worthwhile. to me no amount of money spent in your wedding ceremony even if its traditional or white wedding is a waste. this is because its done 1s in a life time.

Goodluck to you and one more things make security to be tight to avoid your guest being kidnapped.

Silencing your critics is best answered this way.
half of this arsenal team were bought august 31st and this took them time to blend well. if arsenal blends together very much well with no further injury worries I think they will be a team to watch out for.

Thanks Gunners for making my day.

You have not been listening to the GLO adverts - register your SIM and get a chance to win a trip to go watch Man U in Old Trafford. Wayne Rooney and other Man U players on the advert.

oh ok. or else they will give me the value in cash or airtime i don't need to visit Old Trafford as am not a Man Utd Fan but an Arsenal Fan.

Or can they swap from Old Trafford to Emirates Stadium?
Car Talk / Re: Are Car Trackers Inclusive In The Sim Registration? by CarlosVent(m): 10:22am On Oct 03, 2011
Bro find whats happening to your car and call on the experts that installed the device for you. MTN or NCC can never stop your sim card cos you have not registered. they can only plead with you to register and give you bumper bonuses to spur you in doing that.

Your a consumer and for the fact that when you bought it in the first place that they didn't tell you to register the SIm you don't need a Lawyer to win them. the consumer right will like to treat your case if they have done anything.

As for me I have 4 sim cards still un registered. Etisalat and their 10k reward for registering made me to go and Register. I registered my zain because then there was a reward. as for glo and mtn i haven't seen any nice promising reward from them and therefore I am not stepping an inch.

Let them stop the sim from working and watch my next line of action. same thing applies to bank act update.

Diamond bank was on me with texts and calls to come and update my act else it will be closed i was waiting for them to close it but they did not. next thing they sent me the update form in email and pleaded with me to scan my passport and attach to it and just fill the form of which i gladly did and forwarded it back to them. so find what happened to you and not that because you didn't register your line has been blocked.
Peace.
Autos / Re: Mercedes Benz, The Father! by CarlosVent(m): 9:37pm On Oct 02, 2011
Started noticing them with the modern L Buses and the design is good.
So nice, strong, gas/fuel economical and over all cost wise.

The Mitsubishi Product came to the Nigerian Market late I will say but has stolen the hearts of Ride loving Nigerians. To prove that they can also muscle with the likes of Honda, Mec, Toyota in the car making, they came out with

Galant, Sigma, Carisma, Spider, Eclipse, Outlander etc.

I tell you of a truth Mec is not sweet to me as to how Mitsubishi is.
Peace.
