I'm currently using 2nr 10kw with my 5kva Growatts inverters.

What is the voltage to set for bulk
And the voltage for float.

The user manual of felicity says 57.6v bulk and 57.6v float.

So I set mine at 57v bulk and 56v float

For some reason the Growatt inverter refuses to go beyond 56.6v for bulk and drops to 54.4v for float.

Most times it drops to 54.3v during float phase.

are you having problem connecting via wifi or gprs model?

I finally connected to the Growatt shine app.
The comm. Cable I doubt it works

Finally finished my upgrade

2nr Growatt inverter 5kva connected in pararrel

18nr 300w pv array connected in 9s2p

9nr 300w pv array connected in 9s1p

2 units of felicity 10kwh connected to a bussbar.

I have been test running for the past 3 days everything seems fine. Just a few observations

Inverters and batteries I bought from justcallmenuel

Pix 1 was the old setup

Pix 2 is the new setup (still in progress)

Growatts SPF 5000 ES has its inbuilt mppt as 450vdc 18a

I intend to connect my 20nr 300watts Canadian solar panels in 10S2P.

The VOC of the panels is 38vdc
So 10s is about 380v

I have been looking for suitable breaks for the input

450v 20a breaker but all I see in the market is 500vdc 63a

Please size of breaker is suitably sized for 450vdc 18a input?

Since you have the wiring diagram and all the accessories, Simply wire accordingly, AC input and Output must be connected together, batteries must be connected to same bank.

Do all this before switching on the Power on the inverter.

That I meant in Bolded is
Input of Both inverter must be connected together as well as Output of both inverter, must be connected

I have seen on this forum severally people talking about paralleling of inverters, so I just asked so I will be sure that I wasn't missing out any details.

Unfortunately the responses I got here made me start searching out in Google and apparently it's no big deal.

Its basically involves combining the output of the two inverters after connecting the parallel kits

Hmmmmmmm. There is something called "phase" in alternating current (AC) which makes combining two AC sources into one difficult to achieve unlike DC. The wave of AC is sinusoidal and for you to combine two AC sources, they need to be in sync or same phase in the sine wave. That is why paralleling AC inverters require data communication between the two to achieve a stable output.

That is the long answer. The short answer is don't do it UNLESS your inverters come with accessories for paralleling them. Otherwise you may see fireworks and damage the two inverters.

Yes the Growatt 5kva hybrid inverters come with paralleling kit and their manual shows that the AC output can be combined.

I just want to be triple sure since I haven't seen it done before

felicity might be better, but just bear in mind, it is not real capacity, more like 10kw= 6-7kw .

Please I need help in making up my mind on which lithium battery to buy.
I'm doing an upgrade and an overhaul so I want to get it rite from the start.

1. Felicity 10kw battery
Or
2. Tactel 15kw

They are almost same in price.

Does Tactel have an office in Nigeria like felicity?

PS: which of them will work better in terms of communication with Growatt inverters

substandard materials. 5 average men of 80kg weight is 400kg. Are you saying 5 men standing on the roof will damage it? They can stand for eternity. A man standing on the roof puts more pressure than an equally weighted panel. Force over area = pressure .

Please I want to make several inquiries.

I have a colleague who wants to mount 20 pieces of solar panels on the roof but the Architect is cautioning against it on the premise that the roof was designed to carry its own load and not to carry other superimposed load.

Each solar panel weighs about 18.5kg according to the name plate so 20 panels is about 370kg total dead load excluding added load on a windy day.

Pls for the gurus in the house who have carried out several installations is there an specific design of the roof member trusses before mounting the solar panels on them?

And

How safe are they mounting that amount of panels over the years (10years time)

I have been a very silent reader on this thread but felt the need to comment

On Amazon before u buy a product u click on the reviews and read user experience with the product and after sales services which helps u make up ur mind on buying or not.
