Check the body of the battery for the recommended charge voltages. Also get a small digital voltmeter and connect permanently to your battery terminals for quick monitoring of the battery voltage. You can also get the usual voltmeter as an extra layer of voltage check.
I don't have a voltmeter now but would get as soon as resources permit.
About the body of the battery, this is what is there:

Hello house. I'm about to order a panel from jumia( lower delivery fee, compared to 5k from other nairaland sellers). How can I tell if this panel is truly 150w once I take delivery of the product?

- Check the reviews first, if it is a dubious seller, you will likely read bad reviews of previous buyer of the same product

- Lay it flat on the ground, on a clear, sunny day (insulate the leads to avoid a shock), use a meter to check the current produced.
- Multiply the current by 12v, to get the Power it produces (P = IxV).

That should give you a very rough and close Power estimate of the Panel. (less very small power loss and panel inefficiency).
Most Chinese Sellers as not as bad as their Nigerian Version, though a small fraction of them are a replica of Alaba Baranda boys. grin

How do you guys deal with Amazon?
I wanted to place order for TriStar Mppt External Meter and the company refused to tell me the expected delivery date.
I'm very sceptical about the whole thing.

150w panel is 45k. The one from Jumia will still be sourced from Alaba. I will advice, you go to Alaba and get it yourself. People run deliveries to Ajah axis 3 times weekly and will cost you less than 3k.

The way things are in Nigeria now,I would recommend a 100ah lifepo4 cells with BMS...lower cap but guarantee of at least 3years..thank me later.

I got a customized 100ah lifepo4 battery last Saturday. I pray it lasts. Thank you for the recommendation.

Growatts SPF 5000 ES has its inbuilt mppt as 450vdc 18a

I intend to connect my 20nr 300watts Canadian solar panels in 10S2P.

The VOC of the panels is 38vdc
So 10s is about 380v

I have been looking for suitable breaks for the input

450v 20a breaker but all I see in the market is 500vdc 63a

Please size of breaker is suitably sized for 450vdc 18a input?

Current is more important/relevant than voltage.
A 300v 25amps to 40amps breaker would serve ok...heck 63amps wudnt have an negative effect
