This still won't help anything. I prefer you use the quality of engagement per account to judge. This will discourage trolling and nonsensical commenting in the future. Some real users from 5 years must have either replaced their old accounts with new ones or lost them all together. I for one has been here for 3years but my former account's email's password was lost I had to displace the account all together.

It is better if two or more people are assigned to vet each qualifying accounts and decide wether or not they qualify via their comment history and interaction on the thread.
