I know it’s a lot of documents but I tried to be as detailed as possible. Every document was explained in my sop and letter of Explanation.

It’s not really that it doesn’t qualify you for PR. It’s just that you may need more than 1 year to get the necessary points for PR. For instance to get points for work experience in Canada you need at least 1 year work experience. What if you finish the program and it takes you a while to get a job in the proper NOC. Before you get the job and all that a greater part of that 1 year is over. Then you don’t get those points.
What if the one year PR expires before you are called to apply for PR? Then you have to leave Canada because Post Graduate Work Permit cannot be renewed.
It’s safer to get a course that will get you at least 2 years. No matter how bad it is one should have been able to get a job and the needed experience within 2 or 3 years.

But do you know you can also add your previous education ( there’s need for evaluation though) and even work experience from your home country.

Hmmm... Instead of accusing me for the bolded why not give me a link that says a 1yr program qualifies you for a PR.. Stop arguing when you have little to no proof to your claim. I dont get why people here are not constructive when they are not in agreement to something, why must they lash out.

Dear Anon, a lot of you don’t verify before putting up information.
As a matter of fact you don’t even need Canadian education to get Pr.
And I am pretty sure that Canadian education will help boost your score if you have foreign education and work experience.
There are so many programs to get Pr from Canada.
Kindly stop giving people wrong information.

At least a 2yrs program gets you a 3yrs PGWP. Mind you a 1yr program doesnt qualify you for a PR but a 2yrs. So if you go ahead with the 30weeks/7months program, it means you need to enrol for an additional program before the end of thr 1st program to make it 2yrs.

I don’t know where people get the notion of 1 year program doesn’t qualify you for Pr. Please stop giving out wrong information
