This agitation hasn't been properly executed.
It's wrong to think it will be as it was in 1967. Between then and now things have changed, so if the agitation is to be successfully sustained, then things like the territory needs to be revisited. Let those who were part in 1967 express their desire to remain a part of it or not. It's not wise to assume that the status quo remains like it was before.
Also, let Nnandi Zkanu properly explain that it's not just an Ibo affair, because there are non-Igbo tribes in the former map of Biafra.
Also why people should support Biafra.
If these are addressed, I expect more sympathy and support for the cause.

DEVILS, DEMONS AND A HELPLESS BUNCH
It is not in doubt that Delta state is probably the most unfortunate state since the return to democracy. More disgusting, is the tearful reality that this present dispensation caps the mistreatment and maladministration suffered since then.
Recently, I saw the FAAC publication for the previous month and clearly stated were details of the distribution of between the FG, States and Councils. As understood, this has been the pattern since forever, with no tier ever complaining of being shortchanged or owed its allocation.
So, you can imagine my worry when LG staff in delta complain of being owed more than 12months salary, when it is clear that not once has the Federal Government owed them their entitlements. These entitlements ought to be used to pay workers and carry out other responsibilities. With the reality of staff being owed, it means that somewhere, somehow, there exists an unfair discrepancy.
It is common knowledge that states and councils operate a joint account, where both allocations are paid. It is also common knowledge that in instances where local councils and state government partner in ventures like these, the state govt supersedes.
Senator Okowa has washed his hands off owing workers, citing that it's not his responsibility.
Council chairs are singing same lyrics, though in a bid to display stupid loyalty and unwarranted deference.
Yet, it is undisputed that, the State govt, may continually withhold majority of the allocations giving pittance to the councils. The chairmen, cowered into keeping up appearances, continue chanting "prosperity for all deltans".
What acute wickedness and deceitful leadership.
While these two tiers continue this rigmarole, workers count the months they are yet to see their salaries.
Who then is owing the council workers?
Is it a crime to come from delta state, live in delta state, work in the local council and expect salary?
Why is delta state unfortunate to have a bunch of unscrupulous, undeserving, wickedly despotic and inhuman individuals, as leaders and administrators.
Why would the workers suffer, while the executives continue in self aggrandizement?
They tell you " ah can't you see the roads", "is he not doing STEP and YAGEP?", "Prosperity is working"
Then I ask, will the dead walk on the roads?
Can a hungry man think of prosperity when he can't feed?
Can a mother be at peace when her children are starving?
14 months salary unpaid, 14 months of struggling to live, 14 months without proof of employment.
Only a devil will not be moved by the plight of the workers. Only demons will defend this outright wickedness.
Unfortunately, in delta state we seem to have a lot of Devils as administrators.
Hmmmm, even Satan himself recognizes the supremacy of God Almighty.
Things need to change. We don't have to continue like this.

Aruviere Martin Eghrahevwa Wrote:
"The manner in which Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has conducted the affairs of the state, in terms of governance and delivering the dividends of democracy, gives enough cause to worry about both his preparedness and capacity to deliver on his central electoral promise of inclusiveness to, assumedly, better governance. Rather, contrary to general expectations, Delta state has been hijacked by a cabal of political contractors and sundry jobbers, who have captured and taken the state hostage, even as the governor appears clueless and confused on the way forward in addressing the life and death challenges facing the people of Delta state. It is axiomatic that Okowa has set himself to fail. This is an embarrassing letdown by a man to whom much has been given; and from whom much is expected.
Since the creation of Delta state in 1991, the people have suffered under successive corruption-ridden, intrigue-filled, undisciplined and rapacious governments. The people had waited to see a change for the better and Okowa’s election held out that promise and hope that a new Delta State was possible. So far, that hope and expectation has turned out to be a luxurious desire as Okowa has put on display, the most embarrassing verdict on his poor leadership credentials, proving to be worse than even his predecessors. Okowa seems addicted to primordial sentiments and prebendal instincts. Granted that before him, the Anioma people of Delta North and the Ijaw have never occupied the exalted office, that in itself; should not justify the abusive patronage and clientelism which Okowa has elevated to instruments of statecraft and governance.
Okowa has return to the old order when Delta state was a jungle in which political warlords and rent-seekers held sway to the detriment of the people. Looking like a man in a hurry, Okowa picked up the baton with gusto and went to work with aplomb, determination and zeal to rehabilitate his disgraced political mentor and benefactor. To begin with, he stuffed his cabinet with relics of the old guard; people bereft of integrity in all its ramifications.
Under Okowa, the developmental aspirations of Delta state have taken a back seat, and everything he does is to empower and fill the pockets of his Ika kinsmen to the exclusion of people from the central and south areas. He has missed no opportunity to reward his political sinecures.
With all the squandermania, Okowa cannot definitely move Delta to a higher level on the scale of development. It is trite to state that development strategy is anchored on some essentials. Following health and housing, transportation infrastructure is arguably the next human imperative and critical factor essential to development. So far from the look of things, the Okowa administration has done next to nothing to improve service delivery and the welfare of the people. Rather, it has been a special purpose vehicle for an admixture of people who, like soldiers-of-fortune, have migrated to where the fortune is, persons driven by greed and self-interest who will stop at nothing in their quest for personal financial gain."

Listen,
You may chose to view the above as an opinion stemming from hate and grudge, however it is totally void of ill-feeling. It's simply the elucidation of the journey so far from May 2015 -this day. Two whole years down the line, indubitably we have been shortchanged in the biggest heist in governance and administration. Voices from Ughelli, to Asaba, Ossissa to Abraka, Koko to Bomadi, Isele-Uku to Ozoro; all speak of the prosperity fraud we have to endure.
Tears from anguish, tears from mourning the dead, sighs from denied wages, anger and disenchantment, thick in the atmosphere.
Today marks a milestone of our hard fought democracy, it reminds us of the pains and blood compatriots shed to midwife civil rule, sadly, it is also a reminder of the stagnancy and stunted growth we continually wallow in as a state. Destroyed potential and sad realities.
Our Federal system may not be ideal, but as a state, where we are having not made the best of it.
I remember walking more a very long stretch just to watch the inauguration of the first Anioma Governor of Delta State, but here we are after two years with a government devoid of a drive for excellence, sincerity, oneness and ideas.
We may choose to pander to petty and harmful sentiments of allowing things run the course in the name of continuity, let's be aware however that by so doing we would be selling ourselves short.
I know where my vote is going in 2019, and it's surely not for this present administration.
The idea of continuity on the basis of fairness and equity in a complex ethnic conglomeration as delta state can be satisfied outside the present make up.
Let's be wise that affliction may not rise a second time.
By the grace of Almighty God, made available through Jesus Christ, we would surely see a better Delta.
Remain Patriotic,
