You've Been Using Your Emoji Wrong. Here's What They Actually Mean. Emoji images below" Emoji etiquette. We can use actual words, or we can be suave and use some awesome emoji to convey how we feel. Is there really any better way to tell someone you're excited without going on an epic emoji escapade? Nope. But with so many options and so many random emoji, what the heck are we actually saying? More importantly, are we using the right emoji to describe what we're feeling? You don't want to be throwin' up the wrong signs. That can get you killed outchea! So let's break down the more popular ones, and some that you might have seen and gone "WTF is that?" 1. "Face With Tears of Joy" This emoji, often used to describe tears of joy or extreme laughter, was so popular in 2015 that it was named by the Oxford Dictionary as the word of the year... albeit a pictograph. 2. "Smiling Face With Smiling Eyes" emojipedia.org There are a number of different smiley face emoji, but this one is a little different. This one has rosy cheeks, a closed mouth and conveys a true sense of happiness. 3. "Weary Face" emojipedia.org This emoji can be used when "you just can't even" deal anymore. Basically you've given up on life and it is time to go home. 4. "Confounded Face" emojipedia.org This emoji is great for times when you feel as though you can longer hack it. You're on the verge of tears and need to find your quiet space. 5. "Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes" emojipedia.org Not to be confused with its' awkward cousin " Grimacing Face ," the "Grinning Face," has noticeably different eyes. These are called "smiling eyes" and signify you are very happy and pleased. If you accidentally send "Grimacing Face," you are saying you are not having a good time or something is amiss. Choose wisely. 6. "Face Without Mouth" emojipedia.org If you're using this emoji, something is definitely not right. Mainly because, "Imagine the things he would say if he had a mouth!" Save this one for dire situations. 7. "Kissing Face With Closed Eyes" emojipedia.org See how this one has rosy cheeks and blushing? That means that this is a kissy face to show intimacy. You can also use the kissy face blowing an actual heart-shaped kiss, if you're really feeling like love is in the air. However, if you're just having a grand old time and whistling about, you're going to want to use " Kissing Face With Smiling Eyes ." Notice this one doesn't have rosy cheeks. It can also be used when you're trying to pretend you're innocent, like Wesley Snipes in New Jack City. " I'm not guilty, you're the one who's guilty ." (Sorry. Side tangent.) 8. "Smiling Face With Sunglasses" Yea, you're cool AF and everyone needs to know it. Now, go somewhere sunny where you actually would require sunglasses and leave us uncool people alone. 9. "Information Desk Person" This one conveys a bit of a different meaning than the name might infer. This can be used when you're being sarcastic or when you just out-sassed someone. Yea, you're winning that argument or just zinged someone if you're pulling out this emoji. 10. "Japanese Goblin" We're throwing this one in the mix because we had no idea what it meant. We don't really know when the appropriate time to use it is, but technically, it is called a "Tengu." According to this Japanese Buddhist Statuary website, they "are mountain and forest goblins with both Shinto and Buddhist attributes. Their supernatural powers include shape-shifting into human or animal forms, the ability to speak to humans without moving their mouth, the magic of moving instantly from place to place without using their wings, and the sorcery to appear uninvited in the dreams of the living." Also, they are "the patron of martial arts...the bird-like Tengu is a skilled warrior and mischief maker, especially prone to playing tricks on arrogant and vainglorious Buddhist priests..." So if you're ever pulling one over on a Buddhist priest, you know what emoji to text your friends. Oh, they'll know. 11. "Fisted Hand Sign" This is a fist bump. It means you're currently killing it and need some love from your friends. They should, in turn, send you a fist bump back, thus completing the bro-cycle. Also, an acceptable return emoji in this situation is the "100" symbol. Stay swavey. 12. "Beating Heart" The beating heart emoji can signify love or life. Save for a special someone. 13. "Anger Symbol" Popular in Japanese anime, this emoji symbolizes frustration and anger. Again, save for that special someone. 14. "Expressionless Face" This is a good one for those times when you literally have no comment on a situation. It's just...yeaaaa. However, if you use the emoji with eyes open , that means you're just neutral to the situation. So, one is actually a little bit more negative than the other. 15. "Persevering Face" Similar to the confounded or weary emoji, this one is used to show "helplessness in a situation." So, almost the same, but can mean something totally different, if you're truly about that emoji life. 16. "Disappointed but Relieved Face" This can be another tricky one to differentiate. This is the somewhat relieved face. Basically, you were in a sticky situation, got out of it, but are still a little distraught. It is very similar to the " Crying Face " emoji, which has eyebrows facing in the opposite direction. And if a friend sends you the cold sweat emoji with a teardrop on top of the eyebrows , they need your attention... like now. If there appears to be a tear coming out of the emoji's nose, that is the sleepy one . Confusing, we know. 17. "Person With Folded Hands" Often associated with rapper Drake, the folded hands means "please" or "thank you" in Japanese culture. 18. "Astonished Face" This one means you are completely in shock, gasping and blown away at the current moment. Similarly, the emoji with crossed out eyes, but no teeth showing means you are about to pass out. 19. "Dango" Turns out, this is a Japanese dessert called " Dango ," which is kind of like mochi. Who knew? 20. "Waving Emoji" Yes, that means bye for now.

reminiscing:maybe. let me see if i can woo you. |
Pals, this is a very serious issue, I gat too many female friends and it is becoming unbearable with the way they act towards each other. I want to reduce the number of female friends but I don't really kn what to do. Some of my guys told my to get a girl friend and that will chase some of them. But I'm not ready for any girl friend stuff yet. Apart from d gf solution, is there anything else I can do to delete some of these friends? |
Wait ooo, is this not stupidity in display, even if the girl is 18 years old, is kidnapping the girl the right thing to do? Moreover, i think before u marry a girl u need to seek her parent consent first. Why dis people dey behave like one senseless bullock? Infact God punish all of them. |
