Ofcourse...it contravenes Electoral Act that mandates accreditation of Voters card by BVAS.

How will BVAS read a temporary voters card

Same way it reads Permanent Voters Card. By verifying registration details of the Stipulated Voters Identification Number (VIN) entered into the BVAS machine
