That is why I LOVE Abacha..he understood them and actually wanted to squash them to smotherings.
Fake democrats that claim sainthood..it's good it's happening before your very eyes. They poisoned the abacha , Tinubu ran back to Nigeria from exile after running away from his evil and eventually they made obasanjo president not notherner |

I also buy I big avocado for N400, do the maths and convert to $. When next you complain about Nigeria, remember we have cheap and easily accessible fruits and vegetables. APC apprentice and APC money talking, Hope u have light now like ur president promised at his election campaign? |

When u all are ready we hit the streets demanding for better electricity, they will be under pressure and afraid of what the people will do next, nlc should go to blazes, we don't need them if we don't stand up now, we would face more of this and the worse part is they still get paid monthly, if u don't pay bill they come with ladder |
Politics › Re: Grid Collapse: NLC Threatens Showdown Over Electricity Crisis by ceejay80s(m): 1:55pm On Feb 17 |
nairalanda1: Okay
IN 2013, we had privatisation. But then government brought in price controls.
Until Band A came in in 2024, electricity companies were losing money for every unit of electricity sold. The subsidy that was supposed to cover for the losses was inadequate and useless. And naturally, this forced electricity companies to indulge in corrupt activies...like overcharging, estimated billing and so forth...because without doing it, they would collapse.
Infact one of the disco investors was having trobule getting ROI because at least 60% of consumers were not paying or underpaying. Naturally they had to hand over the company to their creditors, because the debt was growing larger.
Nigerians, inclduing the goverhment, should stop treating electricity like it is free of charge. It is because the power sector is being impoverished by not being allowed to charge a cost reflective tarrif that it loses money and cannot afford improvements, maintenance, even buying things like wires, poles and transformers. People bypass their meters, underpay, chase away DISCO workers for disconnecting people that do not pay, and even CLAP for soldiers who came to beat up disco staff in their own office....because the disco staff disconnected them for not paying for months....and then they expect light 24/7. From which money?
Make NLC rest jor. Unless they have someone that can loan nigeria 20 trillion naira yearly for the next ten years, forget it.
Ivory Coast has not had blackout since the 1980's...because they did deregulation and thoroughly did it...everyone pays a cost reflective tarrif. THat meant profits were made...EVEN to the point that the world bank was investing in their sector because the WB Knew they would see the money again.
Nigerians self. I saw u last month with ladder, truly u are part of them continue on til one citizen show u sense |

All these are just lie, I was a bokku igando last week and a minor came to buy things and also a bottle of beer, The bokku attendant told the minor to return the beer bottle and tell his father to come purchase the beer himself, So parents too are contributing to this, why send u minor daughter to buy beer for u, The next day I worked from home I wanted to buy a satchet of stricker, A very small girl about 7years old came to buy stricker for her mom, immediately I told the seller , if u sell to her I will inform the police, this child has already prepared for school in her uniform and the mother sit lazily at home and tells her daughter to go buy for her, I told the seller, u know this sathet u are selling is about to be banned because of this, Any small child who come to buy and tell u it's their parents, please send the person back home, Minors don't drink but the parents or wards that sends them |

ZombieTAMER: How Tinubu is seeking reelection in the face of glaring failure is shameful..
How can a sane human being support this administration empowering terror I still wonder why he thinks his foolishness can be tolerated for long, It's glaring to all, forcing opposition to join Ur party, forcing citizens to pay more as tax and vat so U can steal more , UK has nothing that's why they pay much tax, Nigeria has so much mineral resources, Niger Delta oil belongs to the entire Nigeria while northern gold, illegal mining etc belongs to north but , up till today no electricity in Nigeria and no political office holder care, since 1960 , and they make it look as if it ok, U pay for electricity and sit in darkness, the people will revolt one day , how can a president or its party force opposition to join their party so their sins of stealing public funds will be forgiven when they are suppose to be in prison, Our politicians and leaders encourage criminality and stealing |
