i think u can only get the apps with a nokia N8 phone

Its easy if u are fast, install xplore to ur phone,go to settings and thick "show hidden folders" do no close xplore, download mobile tv from ovi store, as it starts downloading, open xplore and be quick, search all folders in xplore E and C, if u see the apps in any folder as the mobile tv is downloading,as its getting to the last kb download press and hold menu key and select xplore, now select xplore option and copy the apps b4 it installs, now paste it in any other folder in xplore E or C, if u hv a nokia N8 and u hv seen the mobile tv apps and u are in lagos, bring the phone to me,let me get the app

Or tell us the name of the apps so aieromon can search for it

@ceejay i downloaded the mobiletv app from ovi store but it fails to install. the problem is that it will only install in pr1.1 that is the new update.

update ur firmware OTA, but first open all folders in ur phone memory and memory card,then look for the mobile tv apps, when u find it copy and past it in different folders, send the app to people via email so u dnt lose it

i dont think dstv mobile will ever work on phone without Symbian OS 9.3, Series 60 v3.2 UI or higher operating system, n73 was just lucky.

same problem here, atimes i resubscribe and i get 3 or 5 channels , the next day e no go show, make una take email scatter mtn so dat dem go put pressure on multichoice. customercare@mtnnigeria.net

OUTDATED PHONE! u no see say even n79 dey extreme end for table ,nokia no get time for all these old phone firmware, u don here say N70 get new firmware update for 2011? So honsule ,my main aim is to let u know say no more update for N95 again

Lookn 4 somebody in russia,germany or denmark dat can help me to download the apps, UK is not included because the dont have dvbh mobile tv services. http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/cu-14a/software

And searching the apps through pc will not work unless u use a NOKIA N8, it recognises the phone, N8 has a new firmware update and a new OVI STORE APPS , maybe , ? The apps icon is like this diagram below

aieromon u should be familiar on hw to get apps from ovi store because he got the n8 gprs dstv apps. All u need 2 do is install xplore on ur phone, when u open ovi store and see the dvbh tv apps ,download it, as the apps is downloading, click menu and open xplore, open all folders in E: or C: search all folders and be fast before the download finishes, search for DOWNLOAD folder, the tv apps will be in one of the folders, copy it into any other folder like OTHERS, VIDEOS, SOUNDS etc, or else when the apps installs, its installation file dissappears, dnt know why NOKIA is putting us in so much pain downloading an application

bin havin dis problem for lyk 4 days now but it worked well today i here say channel o dey show grammy we fit watch am 4 dstv mobile i don check epg tire oo

if na channel O go show grammy, then u will be able to watch it on mobile too, na same channel O dey mobile, browse the grammy time for internet ,if na usa, then e fit be midnight or midmorning, my own mobile tv dey do agidi with only 5channel showing

That is true, I thought it is my fone 5320xpm. I format and re-install, but all to no avail.
I can only view three channels ( NTA, CNN and MAGIC WORLD).

same problem here with me, atimes when u reinstall the apps u will get 2 or 3 , sometimes blank screen, i believe the problem is from multichoice.when u use it with glo sim,its same problem,

Guy,i use Joikuspot to create WLAN and other lapi connect thru my encrypted WLAN.In law skol i also enjoy our open wifi there too.Like i said,"Just for change".I started using N95-1 since 2008.I upgraded the firmware 3 times,but the TV software u sent to me refused to be compatible.LOL
It Seems am enjoyin this 6760s-1 phone,the ba33 is superb and the phone is clean after Soiling it with Hellox02.I will soon get the TV receiver.

I swopped my N95-1 with Nokia 6760s-1 i installed the TV software that was sent to me by CEEJAY over a year now,and bingo it installed.My problem with this phone is that,the Sound is nothing to write home about.No WLAN etc, I go just manage the phone just for change sake.

wlan no dey freak naija becos hw many places get am? Those wey get am lock their wifi,anytime wey i go island, i go search 4 wlan, i go see 10 wifi signals but all locked, so, Honsule u no lose

I came back to this thread, and read all the previous comments since my last one and saw that you had already mentioned this.

How do I get the mobile tv app-version that works with the N8?

the app for N8 was formally in www.store.ovi.com but nokia removed it for a reason i dnt know,u can also get the apps here http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/cu-14a/software when u open dis link u will see click to download file and if u dnt get it here ur last option is to load ur phone with 400 naira or 1000naira and activate mtn 1week browsing or 1month, then go to app.update on ur phone and download ovi store apps to ur phone,now go to www.store.ovi.com and register, after that u can search for the tv apps in ovi store, if u get it, then download it. GOODLUCK. let us know how far

my n79 does not hv any server profile and it updated but google it on the net u should get the server profile settings or backup ur phone memory to ur memory card,format ur phone, then try and update it, if it works or not restore ur backup from mem card

We too plenty for naija, person go born like 8 kids, if u ask am e go say one of dem fit get money in future, dat is kalokalo, we too many the money no reach us, dats why dem dey travel outside country to make it, the truth is make dem reduce all senator,house of reps,governors,presidents etc the sallary wey dem dey collect too much ,dats why dem dey kill dem self for dat post and dem no send us, state governors monthly salary reach 25million naira

if una like make una do any rubbish for other country ,our govt no care, if dis money reach all of us hand, naija go be like dubai, wetin u wan go do for UK ? i hear say dem dey pay senators 15million naira monthly without other allowances, while some nigerians or police dey earn 10-15,000naira monthly , tell me why naijas no go find greener pastures
