Na the people I just dey pity. Even if dem cede all the oil blocks wey dey Nigeria to Edo, the government no go develop the community. Na the fact be that Is Edo state cursed? Since Delta state was created from Edo state, there has not been any tangible development in Edo state,it was the road Ogbemudia built that is still functional till date, and there is not iota of infrastrural development. Despite the fact that the state collects the oil derivation funds, Benin city still looks like a glorified village, with nothing to show as an oil producing state.no good motorable road and drainage,All the public schools are In in a sorry state,no good public health care facilities. What are the government doing with the humongous allocation coming the state, Are they giving it the their godfathers? |

However, i am talking abt the difficulty in meeting up the basic needs like food, clothes, shelter etc. If you're not living above your means, those things you mentioned up there can be met. The major problem people has is putting their coat where their hands can't touch it, cutting their cloth according to their size. Imagine someone earnings 50k a month, living in a there bedroom flat and also impregnating his wife every year. |

Prenonjebose: See hustler. All of these, so that he can become a governor in his lifetime. He calls it "his project", so that he can realize his ambition of not only being a governor, but also a godfather. Listen to his point, "two governors, two deputies, two houses of assembly" not grassroot development. It's a lie that the governor of Delta state is against the creation of Anioma state. The Anioma nation is leaching on the real Delta state that produces the chunk of the resources in the state,so,if Anioma is carved out,it will be a big relief to Delta state . Having said that, the creation of Anioma state will bring development to the state, despite the fact that they don't have much resources, they will rely on federal allocation like some northern and south west states. Their proximity to Delta state will be an added advantage |

He was given a double edge sword but he couldn't use it to fight his enemies. He was not the strongman the southern minorities really wanted to represent them,he got there by fiat. Same with gej. Buhari came and change everything, and many people are applauding him Nigeria politics is evolving and advancing. If you must succeed in the game you have to play the winning strategy. Imagine a state matter being conducted in local language.
The yorubas has taken their tribal inclination too far.
It is well known fact that the Yoruba language is widely spoken and used daily social and business interactions among the people in all south west states.
Teaching Yoruba in schools is enough to preserve the Yoruba language and also sensitizing parents to always speak their native dialect at home.
Every state in the country should conduct all her affairs using the lingua franca of the country, which is the English language.
It makes no sense to conduct legislative matters in Yoruba as it will neither add value to it nor stop their corrupt tendencies. |
