Please I really needs advice right now, I had issues with my girlfriend for just one week, we broke up because I said some hurtful words to her after a misunderstanding .After 7 days, I apologized to her and asked for her forgiveness and she replied “what if she has already cheated ? That in-facts she’s already cheated on me and That she knows I won’t forgive her”, because I made it clear to her that I don’t forgive cheating in a relationship. She asked if I’ll forgive her I said no, I will not, when she noticed the seriousness, she started downplaying it and saying she was not serious about the cheating that she just said it to hurt me. She wants me to feel the hurt she felt when I told her those words that’s why she said it. She swore with her life that she didn’t cheat. She just told me that to hurt me, honestly I’m not convinced and I don’t know how to know the truth because I can’t continue a relationship that I was cheated on. How will I handle this because she has been calling me, chatting my brother explaining that she didn’t cheat on me. But I’m deeply hurt I’m not buying her explanations, because she keep ask why did I take so long to apologize. 7 days is not that long so I’m really gutted. I don’t know what to do next. I really needs matured advice please.
