Called to request for details of the transactions done with the SIM. They sent it - which contained the new account number.

Had Sync contacts with Google account for retrieving calls that night + other vital information

The banks too were ready to assist with the information they had - although it took several weeks and times of visits + money for transport to n fro.

Full details of bank, account name and number that got the transfer were retrieved.

Called MTN via 180 after retrieved the SIM

Was told to download their mobile app to obtain the information. But after persisting on not having a smartphone to do that, got full details of date and time transactions were done on the SIM that their system has on record.

More so, I told them tws a police case.

Finally able to get into a Firstbank branch at Ikeja. Was told the account created is domiciled at Victoria Island. Have to go there.

- Biometrics requested to retrieve BVN and bank statement was produced.
- Account was blocked

Revisited Firstbank Branch on the island.
- Full Details of new Account the money was transferred into was retrieved.
- Told to obtain an affidavit and police report

- Robbed by 4 gang thieves, directly opposite Awolowo House, Ikeja Bustop, Lagos. 2 Phones Collected (Nokia 2.2 - with MTN SIM Card & Itel 2160 with 9Mobile SIM Card).
- #3500 was obtained from wallets.


Unknown to them, details of everything done on the SIM is being recorded, by the service providers - MTN, Banks, GMail.. MIGO. Was thus able to retrieve these information::

- MTN SIM was used in requesting for BVN
- MTN SIM was used in creating a FirstBank Account via USSD
- #4500 was moved into the FirstBank Account
- #4400 was transferred out of the FirstBank Account (Leaving a balance of #10.75) to an Access Bank Account via USSD

Called 180 again. This time, the new agent said the request "has been done. The line would be blocked."

- Started receiving SMS from 5175 Loan App for Loan of #6000+
- Tried calling their customer care number but unavailable due to the lockdwn.

- Received BAD SMS from family and friends concerning the loan obtained.

- Got through with Loan company customer care number
- Told them the loan was created by a fraudster who stole the NOKIA 2.2 Phone containing the MTN SIM
- Details of Loan sent by SMS
- Was able to obtain New Bank ACC details
