PoliticsRe: Lagos Moves To Seize Tax Defaulters' Money Directly From Bank Accounts, Employer by centpado(m): 8:29pm On Jan 25
Simply said
Dogalmighty17:
This is criminal. With time, this evil template will get adopted nationwide. You don't access a person's bank account simply because he didn't pay tax. You charge the person to court. What Lagos state is proposing to do is brazen criminality.
It will mean they will force banks to provide them with confidential information about customers. There is no guarantee that such information will not fall into the hands of dubious elements.
I don't think any bank will agree to this. Customers money are held in trust. Allowing a third party access to these accounts is a gross violation

Nothing is to late to achieve or attain
Alusiizizi:
You know, platitude always rolls off well on paper. Unfortunately, platitude doesn't work anywhere else but on paper. It takes years of hard work, angst, toil and repeated trials/failures to get the wisdom that is supposed to come with age. At the age of 48 it is already too late.

Let me give you an example:

Academic:
Your goal is to obtain a Ph.D. You spent 10 years failing class after class of a first certificate, eventually, somehow, managing to obtain such. Your masters degree was even more challenging and you eventually are not able to complete it. At this point, you are about 36 years. You lie fallow for another 12 years or so and one beautiful morning you wake up and decide that you are going to complete that Ph.D that you so longed for. Your platitude will have you believing that this is a rational pursuit(i.e. "nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it", "it is never too late to succeed, grow wisdom, whatever, whatever"wink. While such words of encouragement might sound good to the ear, the decision to pursue a Ph.D at 48 with no fortification that you should have developed in your younger and more able years is nothing more than a foolishness.

Business:
You start a business at say, 21 years of age. Business is going well and you are determined to be a billionaire by the time you hit 40. The secrets to success is really quite accessible but most guys lack the discipline to do what is necessary. You should be saving up your money and building more businesses but instead you burn any money that you make on beer and ashawo, investing ridiculous sums of money on used evening newspapers while your destiny slowly disappears in front of you. Come to 27 years later, you are now 48, the business that you started when you were 21 is not doing so well anymore, and because you were tending to ashawo and beer instead of building new businesses and connections that will help you along the line, you find yourself trapped. One beautiful morning you wake up, and decide that you want to achieve that old dream of becoming a billionaire. Your platitude will have you believing that this is a rational pursuit(i.e. "nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it", "it is never too late to succeed, grow wisdom, whatever, whatever"wink. While such words of encouragement might sound good to the ear, the only thing that is real is the trap that you find yourself in. The time that you should have used to build the foundations that will help you to achieve your billionaire dreams has passed and (save for winning naija-bet or some such) you will never touch 1 billion Naira in the remainder of your life.

Summary:
Platitude, like tales by the moon-light is always comforting to listen to, but believe them at your own risk.

I am here after 3months of abudlc MBA to tell you that it’s trash.

~No audio classes or interactive classes
~Lecturers just do copy and paste of the materials on lms
~ some lecturers don’t even bother teaching anything.
~They are inconsiderate and lock out gradable forum once they time elapses, no amount of begging can open it( so imagine you’re doing a tight job schedule, i.e it’s not flexible)
~some of the lecturers have god complex, refuse to teach and even give out-of material assignments
~The curriculum is very archaic .

If you have enough money, check out schools like miva(heard it’s really flexible) and nexford

And note that I am summarizing the experience i am currently having as a first semester student. Hopefully they improve

FamilyRe: When Is It Appropriate To Share Family Inheritance by centpado(m): 7:41pm On Sep 29, 2025
Since the man died interstate, everything automatically goes to the wife, she was the one that’s was in union with the husband, while the kids are beneficiaries of the union ….. but since it’s already this way your friend should call a meeting let the first son give an account …. The best time to share the properties would have been after the funeral, but nowadays best way to preserve properties of one’s late dad, is to set up a trust, more like a family office, then each kids are paid dividends from it .

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well.

I’m exploring options for doing my MBA and want to know which private university in Nigeria offers the most affordable program.

I’ve been checking names like Oduduwa, Paul, Caritas, Al-Hikmah, and Crawford… their undergraduate tuition fees seem low (around ₦100k–₦300k). But I’m not sure about MBA costs.

So:

1. Which private university has the cheapest MBA?

2. What’s the current tuition fee?

3. Any payment options like instalments?

Would really appreciate feedback from anyone with insider info or experience!
below 300,000

There are so many including private and public universities for MBA programs in Nigeria

Any one here have an idea about Babcock MBA DLC? is the program cool and advisable to partake in? would appreciate your response.
Babcock and ABU MBA program is almost alike, both are powered by Edutech, with great LMS format for teaching and learning. Well organized

Babcock and Abu has about four specialization for their MBA program, ABU exams are written in Lagos and some states in Nigeria, while Babcock own is written on campus I think.

Funny man, Uba sani that participated actively in restoration of Democracy and even went to prison is what this short man wants to take glory for?
In just two years, Uba sani has performed better than his 8 years of southern Kaduna killer government and equipping bandit with tools and funds.
You are very funny thuo, Shen Sani and Uba Sani are two different people, Shehu Sani is the activist that went to prison and also former senator that fell out with El-rufai

Jazz/juju scar …. Abeg calm down and learn everything no be juju or jazz…. Keloids are formed from overhealing of the skin when there is an injury, the injury can be as a result of pimples bursting , shaving etc . It happens to people with delicate skin.

A kenalog injection would help reduce it, go see your doctor .
PS. A family member has this exact same keloid

zeuss:
That is not a growth it is a keloid formed as a consequence of a deliberate traditional scaring . It's is a jazz/juju marking. Ask your parents.
