I mentioned the APC cos they are the majority and the party in power who promised change and a departure from the past and, alas, what we are seeing is them doing the same things they preached again. So tell me, who is the hypocrite here? where Ike won deputy senate President were u not celebrating... Hypocrite |

Politics › Re: Why Are People So Fond Of Buhari?--We Must Change by chamboy(m): 8:03pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
PMIcon: This is about Nigeria and not about political parties or individuals.
I vigorously but unofficially campaigned for APC in the last election not because I think the party is perfect but because I am convinced we need an improvement from the values and culture PDP has promoted so far in Nigeria, and APC seems to be a better alternative. I especially preferred the present President, Mr Buhari but I don't expect him to be perfect- that would have been unfair; I would rather support him without justifying him when I know he is wrong.
Mr. Mohammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria, is neither God nor an angel and as much as I know, he has never claimed to be perfect. Why are some people so fond of him that they will defend him at the expense of Nigeria. We don't need that please. If the President makes a mistake or is going off course from the vision laid down, those who truly love him will love Nigeria, will admit this and RESPECTFULLY challenge him.
TOO BAD THAT JUST AS SOME READING THIS POST ARE SO FOND OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT, GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN, THAT THEY CHOOSE NOT TO SEE OR ADMIT ANYTHING WRONG IN HIS ADMINISTRATION, THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE LIKE THAT ALREADY IN THIS NEW DISPENSATION.
I think we don't just need change, we also need to change. Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater, let's learn to separate people from issues. Let's respect one another even when trying to show our displeasure, AND PLEASE, LETS RESPECT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT WITHOUT IGNORING THE VISION TO BUILD A BETTER NATION.
IT IS CLEAR TO ME THAT IF NIGERIANS LEARN TO FOCUS ON BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL NATION RATHER THAN THE IMAGE OF ANY INDIVIDUAL, IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME, NIGERIA WILL NOT ONLY BECOME A DEVELOPED NATION, IT WILL ALSO BECOME AN EXCEPTIONAL SUPERPOWER. ur last paragraph is very hard to achieve in this nation, Too many Greed Men in this Nation... reply my pm tho.. we need to talk |

joeferrari: its now obvious that the APC lacks men and women with proven track records when virtually all the men and women who belongs to the APC are being hoodwinked by tinunbu and his cohort of political criminals. Thank God buhari is towing the line of nigeria first above party affiliations God bless nigeria God bless buhari It means he doesnt want to give it to politicians |
Politics › Re: Oyegun: Buhari May Appoint Non-APC Members As Ministers by chamboy(m): 7:53pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
INTROVERT: Time will reveal the pedigree of such individuals. if GMB actually comes with out with a ministerial list that is devoid of rankour and corrupt individuals, it would really be a breath of fresh air for Nigerians. However a balanced mix of politicians and technocrats is alsoimportant. no more business as usual |

Firefire: In 2001, General Ibrahim Babangida refused to testify before a national human rights commission about the Giwa murder. Babangida, Hakilu and Togun went to court and obtained an order restraining the commission from summoning them to appear before it.
The envelope that carried the bomb had the inscription ‘cabinet’ on it, and was addressed to Dele Giwa. The envelope exploded as Mr. Giwa tried to open it.
