Are you Nigerian? Do you live in Nigeria? It is difficult, I think, for the Nigerian of above average intelligence to know that there are 6 bowls in an over, to be honest. The 18 holes in a golf course is slightly easier. But not bowls in an over.

Hi there Etinosajay. So I heard this evening that non medical graduates of MPH would not be able to further to Ph.D level? Do you know any thing about this? How true is it?

Was at PG school and I met with some of the students..
Was told the questions are not hard, basically questions from undergrad courses..And for those applying for courses other than their first degree, was told u 'll be asked to write an essay on relevance of ur first degree course of study to the one u applied for...

Good morning, kindly share through which means you wrote the letter of request. Was it through the website or did you send a letter to the school. Thanks in advance.

No. The form is available online. You'd print out a voucher with which you'd pay the application fees at any branch of certain banks nationwide. Thereafter, your portal would be opened and you will fill your form online. It is even written that there is no scratch card or exchange of forms for this year's application. Everything is online.

Public Health applicants, please what are you guys reading? Someone suggested one Lucas short textbook on community health medicine, I haven't been able to find that. Are there other options?

Pls this information is vital.. I spoke with the Postgraduate school.. I was told that we are to submit in person the supporting documents with the printed application forms and receipt..please if you are far u can submit it during the exams.

My referees have not gotten any mail yet. I assume that they are sending mails to referees in order of submissions. I completed and submitted my application form on the 29th of last month.

I fill everything but it keeps telling me 'You have initialization failure. Try other phone number and email.' have tried several different emails/phone number. same thing.

This Etino guy is awesome. Unilorin don't offer mph. Apart from test of English that every intending masters student must undertake at U.I, does the faculty of public health still have their own separate test??!

Unilorin does offer MPH, but the choices for areas of specialization are limited to just epidemiology and public health and one other, can't remember.

Yes, and that's 100 percent certain that you can apply to MPH at U of Ibadan provided you meet the other requirements. Be sure to look at the entry requirements for the current application period as forms are on sale now.

For U of Ilorin, I have no Idea, maybe someone who knows may walk into this thread and advise you accordingly. Cheers

I just want 2be sure, b4 I go ahead and start the processes of application, that a graduate of microbiology can be considered for a master's degree in public health. That's MPH not B.sc MPH at UI. Again, do you have an idea if the same works also for the University of Ilorin? Thanks very very much!
