ECO means entry clearance officer. ayla1: Hello House,
I went to pick up my visa n my baby's today and guess what? We were granted visa! Thanks to evry1 that dropped comments on this thread. They were all helpful, God bless you all!
what I (believe) did to have a successful application?
I read through all the posts on this thread*- from 2011-till date; highlighted why some visas were granted and why some were not. Then I noted comments from all the Nairalanders esp. Justwise, Omo tier 1, Vicjustice etc. Then, I applied, even though I still made some mistakes but I guess they were overlooked by ECO( I learnt that word frm this forum , I still dont know the full meaning but I know it is synonymous to "Grant or refuse that Visa" .
My advise to guys that are about to ask questions on UK visa applications esp. visit visa; Pls read through the previous comments on this thread, most (if not all) of the questions have been answered IN DETAILS.
I hope this makes sense to the house. Goodluck to those that are about to submit applications and those awaiting response! |

gaskinachi: Ok = got the visa? Yea. I did... and I applied jointly with my fiancée with me as sponsor. One thing I realized is the space provided for additional info is key for every application that is not clear cut. Also, travel history and reason for traveling is really key. Goodluck to all other applicants. |
