I met a friend who graduated 4 years ago and has just moved to Lagos from Benin. When I asked what he was doing since graduation, his reply blew me from a state of shock to vexation. The only crime you can commit against yourself and against life generally is not discovering what your life purpose is and living it to the fullest. there's no escaping it, it's either now or you keep on repeating the class of purpose discovery. Every individual soul is uniquely configured and your soul purpose is who you truly are. This soul purpose has nothing to do with your passion or talents. your passion and talents are only the tools with which you as the purpose can be expressed. your life or soul purpose is simply your soul design. We bear the pains and we complain some more and as we complain some more, we empower our weaknesses some more and increase our powerlessness some more. Hmmmmmm... so sad! NOW WHAT DO WE DO? what now is the solution? Is there a way out of this mess? Can we truly play our roles in creating the solutions needed in resolving the issues around us? How do we truly be able to reach out and become that helping hand that we have always wished we could be? The only solution is to use what we have. Did I hear you say you have nothing? No, you have so much and what you have is much more than what you don't have. What happened to all the gifts and abilities you brought with you to this world? All the talents and gifts that were embedded deep down within you? Will they remain dormant and useless forever? At least you have to be remembered for one significant thing when you depart this plane... no matter how small! The only ignorance that kills is the ignorance of who you are. I love your sincerity bro... that's being honest with who you are configured to be. The essence of going to school should only be to help us learn how to read and write... my realised take though. Once one can read and properly write, I feel one is truly through with conventional schooling system. life is all about being able to create, school doesn't teach us this but that's the ability that each of us has brought to the world, though still very dormant in almost everyone cos everyone is simply pursuing shadows trying to survive. My advice is: start creating those beautiful ideas you have right from where you are now. Going to look for someone to sponsor you for a start will lead you nowhere. start creating in small bits and pieces. you don't really need what you don't have for now. As you begin and continue, the universe will definitely join you in the expansion because it's for the good of all of life and humanity. The question shouldn't be if you should drop out. The question should be how do you go about creating your ideas into reality cos those ideas are the expressions of who you really are. dropping out of school shouldn't be the issue, it should come naturally when it becomes obvious that school can no longer accommodate the projects you are working on.
