TheSuperNerd: Osimhen's Bright Star catches Elite Attention
Osimhen is on Barca's transfer list according to El Mundo Deportivo's Sans Gabriel.
Culled from Ajansspor
Gabriel Sans of El Mundo Deportivo Newspaper, known for his closeness to La Liga giant Barcelona, said that Galatasaray's star football player Victor Osimhen is on the Spanish club's transfer list.
Gabriel Sans of El Mundo Deportivo newspaper was Özgür Sancar's live guest on Radyospor. The accomplished journalist, who works for the newspaper known for its close ties to La Liga giants Barcelona, noted that Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen is on the Spanish radar.
Sans said, "Barcelona needs a very good centre-forward and is looking for one for next season. It's not guaranteed whether Lewandowski will stay on. He's 37 years old and currently injured, so it's unknown how he'll return. From this perspective, Victor Osimhen is a player Barcelona wants. That's certain, but there have been no meetings, no discussions between the parties, and no negotiations. Osimhen is definitely on Barcelona's transfer list today, but we need to look at Lewandowski's situation. We don't know how his future at the club will shape up. Osimhen is all about goals and success. Yes... Barcelona is keeping a close eye on him."
Time will tell. Make Barca start saving if they are serious. Lol Barca can’t afford him |

Truidstarr: Una don start again. Akinsanmiro na pure box to box, his long balls nko? Stop this nonsense. Make David Moses comot Sparta Prague first. Sparta Prague isn’t a bad team bro and Moses don’t need to leave the club before getting a chance in the national team If we can have players from Tanzania,Cyprus,Denmark etc then I see nothing wrong giving a chance to a player from a club that competes always in European club football competitions Pisa is a poor team but the only advantage they have is playing in the Serie A so it’s a good step and opportunity for Akin to show what he can do against the big boys which he has done decently well so even if he doesn’t still get a chance in Inter next season mid tables Serie A teams will come in for him |

Cocony: That is the problem I have with our criticisms. I am neither a fan of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro nor David Moses at the moment but would you dump Champions league experience for Italian Serie A experience alone? The Champions league rates higher than the individual leagues in Europe and that besides, Ebenezer on loan to Pisa is not doing him much good even though he gets playing time as his team langushes at the bottom of the league which is in contrast to David Moses Team. Lest I forget in a mutually exclusive event, AS ROMA were beaten in Rome by a Czech Republic CLUBSIDE during the week. All these however do not rank the Czech League above the Serie A. Slavia and Sparta and top teams in Czech football and are steady European club competition performers Playing for the above mentioned teams is also at par with playing for mid table Serie A clubs |

Apart from Balotelli, Italy doesn't give black players much attention. Remember one igbo guy that Italy used in the friendly we played on the road to 2014 WC. Afterwards nothing for am. So Kayode should be wise oo and now is the time. bro times have changed oo European nations are hording as much talents as they can no matter the race and nationality, even our fellow African brothers Morocco have been all out on this and they are gaining from it massively but when it gets to our turn many here will remind you that we have loads of talents in the npfl and we do not need European rejects |

Now he is 25, and I dont even know whether Nigeria don talk to bobo Donald or not. Or whether him heart dey for us. On his quality, he looks decent as a central midfielder but his gametime is erratic so not enough to gauge his actual current level. yea I remember him then but didn’t pay much attention about him after he found it hard then breaking into Elche’s team in laliga that very season Learnt he is a steady performer for them this season and have improved |

I watch him and report on him but una dey talk am up like say una never see Hamzat Ojediran do same at RC Lens in Ligue 1. you are right though, we need to watch him against stronger oppositions before concluding but from the lil I saw in those clips I was impressed to be honest |

In current super eagles team the positions I think that needs top competition are the goal keeping, RW,LW,RB positions
I will mostly concentrate more on the flanks because we need serious competition for Moses Simon and Chukwueze
Even if not competition they need cover because if both happen to be injured we have no one to call upon for both positions, maybe Iwobi will switch to the left then what about the right wing position? |

ChrisKels: I have seen both, I will say it, Akinsamiro does not have the answers to our current problem. The boy is not ready yet. He has lots of things to improve on. He is still a bit erratic but won’t be bad as an option in midfield. But I think David Moses is the real deal. That bobo na engine |

Bossoflife25: Slavia Prague's David Moses is the missing link in our midfield. The aggression, pace, passing and box to box. Wow! What a player. Another Benjamen who could play multiple roles! Akinsanmiro is not suitable for our current tactics. Although, he is quite technical but lack pace and strength needed now! that guy deserved a serious look in ooo. Saw clips of his games on YouTube and X and bobo na another engine oooooo. Also technically he is good Another is Akin, saw him play for the first time this season against Milan and he was superb If Chelle can add Akinsanmiro and David Moses to the team the likes of chukwuemeka and co can go to hell I just pray that soon Uche will start balling for palace |

TheSuperNerd: The Bruno x Zaidu analogy is off tangent when discussing Onyedika x Ndidi.
At least with Bruno, we see he is not even getting gametime at his club as well. When Zaidu was criticized, I defended his contributions especially defensively because I saw what he brings and even offensively he still gives us speed overlaps and some decent crossing
Now to Onyedika, let me tell you the problem. Onyedika is a midfielder you pair with another central midfieder to get the best out of. Onyedika is not a profile you play as a Lone DM in all games and this is why I have always advocated for a 3man midfield.
Onyedika is more of a double pivot specialist even though he can and has featured as a single pivot too. Even Busquets succeeded as a single pivot because it came in a midfield 3 and Barca knew how to choke the opposition and regain the ball when Barca was out of possession. He was also positionally disciplined and this is an attribute Onyedika has. His positional discipline in front of the defence.
Onyedika paired a profile like Onyeka one time in a friendly and we saw how things flowed in that game. We transited the ball better. It was their first time together and needed more games to gel but the signs were very positive.
So Onyedika will be of even greater use to the Super Eagles when paired with the right midfield personnel. Truth is Onyedika right now can pair anyone and we will still look decent but to get a monster version, pair him with a profile that plays on the front foot more and roams aggresively.
The two foreign coaches you cite as reasons for your argument have their idiosyncrasies limiting their tactical creativity. After the EQ Guinea game at Afcon 2023, JPes wanted a midfield 2 and needed one especially who is defensive minded and a workhorse... Onyeka ticked that box.
Under Chelle, he plays 442 most preferably and wanted one who sits, protects and brings experience to the role, now while Onyedika ticks all these, he prefers Ndidi with more NT Caps who also can do a decent job but suffers in two areas: Ball Striking and Buildup plays/Ball playing.
Chelle is new and needed to first get the trust of the senior men. Ndidi is one of them. He has dropped Ekong in recent times but only after obviously calamitous errors were made. He is not drawn to dropping Ndidi as he cant just drop 2 strong senior men at once.
In time, you will come to see this Ndidi preference is just more political than tactical. Ndidi is not our best option even in a 442. u said it all in your 3rd paragraph nerdy. Onyedika can only function well as a deep lying Central midfielder in a midfield 3 but it’s unfortunate that our current coach doesn’t deploy that tactics |

ChrisKels: Dikachi is technically better than both Ndidi and Onyeka, but Ndidi is better at shielding the defense. Onyeka has more lungs than both but less technical than Dikachi and not a better shield than Ndidi. If I had my way, I would always play Ndidi or Onyeka as shield while Dikachi takes CM. Iwobi should be shifted to the LW where he has been unplayable for Fulham. you truly understood the angle I haven been trying to explain this to nerdy Imagine deploying an Onyedika and Iwobi in Peiseiro’s afcon starting 11 or in Chelle’s current team? We for cry tire 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

And destroyer DMs can pass too. You watch Carlos Baleba of Brighton not so? Even Ngolo Kante is a destroyer DM. Casemiro at your club is another one. Yet they all pass way better than Ndidi.
Abi Kante no dey score too? of course Ndidi scored goals for Leicester na both in the epl and championship He also scored few in Belgium with one been a screamer that was nominated for goal of the month then if I can recollect well He has just been unfortunate in the colors of the super eagles in terms of goal scoring. elyte89: This is my exact argument about this onyedika guy we fans are not cin …no worry ,dem go soon use am …2 foreign coaches can’t be wrong na ,same way we taught Bruno was better Dan zaidu ..if onyedika is dt good Dan ndidi ,den he shldnt be chopping bench under 2diff foreign coaches who has worked closer with these two players In trainings. exactly. From my observation Onyedika is better on the ball than Ndidi and Onyeka with better finesse passing wise but can’t cover much ground like the above mentioned duo Bro when it comes to closing players down Ndidi and Onyeka are monsters Chelle plays mostly a 2 man midfield starting a game and he prefers that one of his midfielders should be one who can cover more grounds with enough energy to burn |
