I'm glad to find aircraft aficionados here. This is a really mighty plane. My favorite aircraft is the Airbus A380F. Thought I'd seen it all until I saw this. Still trying to figure out why they designed it to have 2 fuselages.
Phones / I Keep Getting A Spontaneous "Unfortunately BBM Has Stopped" by Charllay(m): 9:12am On Feb 10, 2016
Good morning geeks in the house. I keep getting a spontaneous "unfortunately BBM has stopped" anytime I try to open BBM. I have an Infinix Hot Note Pro running Android 4.4.2.
I updated BBM from version 2.9.0.51 last year November and since then it doesn't work anymore. Anytime I try to open BBM it says 'unfortunately bbm has stopped'. The latest version now is 2.12.0.9. Only the November version 2.9.0.51 works well. All updates later than this version 2.9.0.51 do not work.
I have forced stopped, cleared data and cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but the "unfortunately BBM has stopped" persists. I've even formatted my phone once after which updated versions later than 2.9.0.51 worked but the problem started again after a few days.
Please help!!!

Good day. I've got the Infinix Hot Note Pro, installed xposed and gravity box but it's giving me issues; can't see caller names and some apps in the notifications are black which makes their texts unreadable. I need help.

Pls guys, I'm confused about dis CWM Recovery stuff.. What is it all about and its pros cos I'm new to android??
Phones / Re: Tecno P3 Discussion Thread by Charllay(m): 7:24pm On Jun 27, 2013
Talenty: YES it supports skype video call. But don't expect the battery to last like nokia touch. No android phone has long lasting battery life if you're using it fully but on standby it can last for over 3 days. When you buy, you download battery saver that will guide you on how to manage your battery life.
Tnx man..

halilu44: An observation
For guys complaining about the length of time it takes to charge a tecno f7. I noticed that if you charged it with the phone switched off, the battery can charge from 20% to 100% in less than 30 minutes. Its quiet very fast compared to other phones I charged in the same manner.give it a try.I hope it helps

You're right it charges damn fast when switched off

marcjoe: I ve finally discovered wat is finishing this lovely machine's battery after weeks of check up I ve found a way to optimise this tecno f7....

THIS R SOME OF THE THINGS KILLING THE BATTERY

1.HSDPA; hsdpa a.k.a 3.75g when on drains ur battery faster than u can imagine.. dont leave it on if u want ur ba3 to last.. .though my f7 lasts for 7-8hrs with hsdpa on....if u must stay online on facebook, whatsapp, yahoo messenger, 2go ,Skype e.t.c just switch to edge by going to settings > more > mobile networks >3G service >network mode >GSM only, ....u can use airtel, etisalat, Glo on edge they r really fast enough excluding mtn that is not working fast unless u switch to hsdpa cos ppl r just too much browsing with the magic sim smiley...

2. Screen brightness : for Christ sake u don't need to adjust ur screen brightness to d fullest...this machine comes with a clear black screen that u can c words well under d sun . . reduce this brightness to the lowest under settings >display > brightness, then shift it to the lowest... and c d magic afterwards..

3. Avast antivirus:though it's the best according to some researcher out there..it kills ur ba3 by monitoring every activities like scanning every now and then or scanning on any application u install newly. . so it's always open... so if u want ur ba3 to last longer don't use it or u uninstall it..then see the magic

4. Charging : allow ur phone to rest while charging it simply makes ur phone battery to be healthy and strong. ...after charging then start using it... some ppl r a gaming type like me.. learn to leave ur phone to charge first b4 playing games or surfing d net or downloading... if u must browse while charging swith ur network mode to GSM in tip 1 above don't use hsdpa while charging oooh..games and hsdpa kills the battery mostly...

TO ME TECHNO F7 IS A GOOD PHONE ..I WOULD RATE IT 90/100%, THE OTHER 10% GOES TO THE POOR CHARGING NOT THE BATTERY ..it takes time to charge while using it even on edge when on.. I can't be switching off my phone to speed up my charging rate..

WE SHOULD ALL BE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE POOR CHARGING NOT THE BATTERY.. .

I hope my tips helps..at the time of typing this post my ba3 is still at 75% , been using it with hsdpa since 6.00a.m...follow this tips and c some magic..
Can anyone recommend a charger that charge this device fast. ..I tested an original blackberry charger yesterday and it was worst...wat about Samsung, Nokia and others....
Totally right. This phone is very close to the Galaxy S3.The only flaw is this long charging time. It doesn't charge fast while you're using it. The battery cuts 1% every 5-6 minutes on usage. I get an average of 7 hours usage on battery while chatting steady on edge. I don't know if other F7 users get the same value.

cyrexx:

When you are using phone, it consumes RAM. That's normal.

4gb ROM doesn't mean 4gb internal memory. Okay? They are different. The ROM is used by the phone OS (android) and it allocates 1gb for internal memory available for the user.

If you remember, only 175mb is available to user in the 512 ROM of the tecno n3. The os consumes the rest.
so what's the available RAM when you switch on the phone?

Hotdiamond: the headset that comes with it is a major improvemrment. it delivers quality sound. I couldn't believe that tecno could bring such a good headset. the equalizer is embeded in your desired music player either poweramp, ttpod or the stock music player
what about the inbuilt/default music player; does it have equliser too?

Phones / Re: How Long Does Your Smartphone's Battery Last? by Charllay(m): 2:23pm On Jun 02, 2013
opestein: Sorry, but I fink u guys are giving wrong results(only to the Android users),u can't know d actual time ur battery lasts, battery usage depends on some factors on Android
1.the size of ur screen, wen ur screen size is 4.5 inches and ur battery voltage is 1600MAH, and another fone with screen size of 3.5 inches with voltage 1500MAH, surely d fone with bigger screen size battery will drain faster.
2.ur kernel, on galaxy s2, siyah kernel saves battery than dorimanx kernel, always choose ur kernel wisely because, its ur kernel that bridges ur device software and hardware.
3.if dere are some gremlins in ur fone (leftover datas of the previous ROM), u won't enjoy the performance that some enjoy even though u use the same fone, always run nukeROM b4 flashing anoda ROM.
4.don't know if this helps, download easybattery from playstore, it will tell u ur estimated battery left 4 Web surfing, phone call, video play back,E.T.C.and wen charging ur fone, it will tell u fast charge, continuous charge and trickle charge, if u let the trickle charge to complete, ur battery will last 2x ur normal battery usage (remember, it will take long, maybe like 6hrs)
ALL DIS POINTS ARE EXCLUSIVELY 4 ANDROID FONES.hope it helps.
I use galaxy s2 and my battery last 4-6hrs on heavy usage depending on my charge cycle
would you advice me to go for tecno F7 over this phone

n7 is 16million colors. I think the f7 is 16million colors too. n3 is 256K colors, nokia e5 is 256K colors. the review that wrote that f7 has 256K colors also posted that it uses a snapdragon processor.
what about the sound through headset?
Does it have equaliser?
And how long does the battery last on heavy usage
Phones / Re: Tecno F7 (Phantom A1) Discussion Thread by Charllay(m): 2:15pm On Jun 02, 2013
Hotdiamond: the screen is an HD display that's 720p display. its not 256k colours. its 16000k colours. samaung galaxy s2 has a 217ppi display. while the f7 has 294ppi display.
thanks you've helped a lot

Phones / Re: How Long Does Your Smartphone's Battery Last? by Charllay(m): 2:11pm On Jun 02, 2013
adanny01: My Samsung Galaxy SII last at least
2days with no Internet, game, background apps
12hrs with constant 3g, GPS, calls and google map
6hrs constant surfing with 3g
10hrs with constant 3g and Internet apps on background less browsing
1hr GT Racing or Real football game (sometimes the phone temperature scares me sometimes no heating)

I realized that games are the no 1 battery killer followed by 3G network/browsing.
would you advice me to go for the phone? Have you upgraded it to jellybean and how?
Thanks in advance
