FoodRe: My Boyfriend Has Turned Me To A Cook: Could This Be Love? by chawkee(m): 2:30pm On May 27, 2005
Contrary to what Seun said that they are not living together, from Tayotina's intro, he demands for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How is he going to eat three triangular meals if they are not staying together.
The narration goes on to say, '.... when she comes back from work......', this clearly tells that the guy is not working because he stays at home and wait for her arrival.
The fact that they are staying together while unmarried, is a clear demonstration of irresponsibility from the both parties.
There must have been a time when it was the guy who was taking care of proceedings, the tide has changed now, and she is complaining. It is possible that she has found somebody else and now she is tired.
Tayotina, tell your friend that the only way to a man's heart is through the stomach. If she still loves him, then, she should buckle up and prepare more food for him. If she is tired of the relationship, she should come out straight and say so. No need beating around the bush.
RomanceRe: Online Dating and Possible Marriage. by chawkee(m): 2:08pm On May 27, 2005
Hi all, it's so surprising to find more teens and some adult trying to find a 'perfect match' through the internet. Isn't it booboo?
RomanceRe: If You Find Your Partner in a Compromising Position with someone else ... by chawkee(m): 1:01pm On May 27, 2005
Are men really 'goats' or are women 'dogs', Tayo in her reply said, "....men are dogs". I don't think that is the case. How do you explain a situation where your woman's female friend comes to the house to say hi and comes in a skimpy attire when she knows her friend will not be around. Like i said and Allenpowered made clear, though we were created animals, but a different type and we are prone to making mistakes.

It has been a tradition with females way back to be tempters, Eve started it, Portipha's wife carried on and it has been thesame story uptill today.

The men folks are more straight forward than their female counterparts and therefore if you find your partner (a male) in a compromising position with your best friend, don't walk away, find out why they were in such a compromising position. WHO KNOWS.
TravelRe: Where have you been in Nigeria? by chawkee(m): 11:26am On May 27, 2005
How far Allenpowered, where have you really been to in Nigeria? Nigeria is a vast and wide country that you can't just sit down and make conclusions. Though Onitsha might be rough and look uninhabitable, it doesn't mean that it is the original citizens of Onitsha that made it the chaos city that it is. If you really want to see Nigeria inside out, travel with the railways.

Start from Iddo in lagos, to Ibadan, to Offa in Kwara, to Lokoja in Kogi (remember that was were Mungo Park discovered the confluence of river Niger), to Zungeru in Niger (the birth place of a notable political icon in African politics), to Zaria in Kaduna and then to Kano. Then you will know that Niger is wide.

Or, is it when you travel from Lag to Imo by road, waoh, so many communities. Therefore Allen, if you really want to know Nigeria first hand, take a one month vacation and travel from west to east, from east to north, from north to south and back to west, then, you will get to know that Nigeria was not originally created to be one. grin. SportsRe: Will Schevchenko finally become the world player of the year if AC Milan wins? by chawkee(op): 2:20pm On May 26, 2005
Aawww! I don't know what to say - how to start the defence. After all, they say football is not predictable these days. Who would have said the match will take a different turn after the second halfhuh? I admit, I was caught napping.

There's no way you can take it away from Rafael Benitez, he was the match winner.

LESSON NO. 1
Our Super Eagles need a match winner like somebody with Benitez's attitude.

He re-arranged the team after the first half and he has earned my respect. Maybe Carlos Ancelotti chewed gum more than necessary. He was caught in the euphoria that the match was already won when the unbeleivable was yet to happen.

LESSON NO. 2
Super Eagles need a serious minded coach who will be able to see the loop holes in the opponents' and capitalise. Era of caricatures (chief) is passed, time to get serious.

LESSON NO. 3
The Super Eagles should be worked on psychologically so that they imbibe it into the team spirit that a game is never over until the final whistle is blown.

I admit it was a super final with a superlative performance by Liverpool. I salute the courage and attitude they displayed. Wonderful, I throway apologies for not predicting right.

Hi all. Charl.
SportsWill Schevchenko finally become the world player of the year if AC Milan wins? by chawkee(op): 2:23pm On May 25, 2005
It's cool because I'm riding high today. Why? AC Milan will become european champions again. I know Schevchenko did not find it funny at all when Ronaldino was crowned the world player of the year. Will today's match be Schvchenko's decider for next year's world player?
SportsRe: Liverpool vs AC Milan; who wins the champion's league? by chawkee(m): 2:14pm On May 25, 2005
cheesy Whoopee, the day is today. All Liverpool fans beware, we wouldn't want to mourn any member who got a hearth attack or whatever. If you know you won't be able to bear the routing, you better find an alternative on how to while away your time while the match is going on. Hurray. grin tomorrow we the AC Milan fans will have a field day here rolleyes. Edelma, I therefore invite you to jubilate with me tomorrow.

All Liverpool fans, make sure you get enough liver to face the hail storm that will fall on you all.

You all enjoy the match.

Hi Seun, how's today. Cool, I suppose. kiss

SportsRe: Liverpool vs AC Milan; who wins the champion's league? by chawkee(m): 2:02pm On May 24, 2005
Monsiur Allenpowered, are u d one asking this sort of question? From the good way you gave reply to my topic, I thought you must be versatile in all area. The champions league has been there with her many traditions. Liverpool is an old team when it comes to champions league history and they have been good in this year's league. But not withstanding, considering present form and the quality of the attack force in both teams, AC Milan rank way ahead of Liverpool. I feel present form and not antecedents will come into play.
