This is a BIG LIE. I've been using Amoled for ages and nothing like that.

Flickering naturally occurs on Amoled screen when the brightness is turned down!
Most flagship phones corrects this by having DC dimming! U have prolly being using high ends flagship that's why u didn't notice it.
Note 10 is just a midrange and would have cost way more if they have included DC dimming

Between the Redmi 9T and the Camon I'd say u go for the Redmi! but if we are to look outside these two I'd say u add about 2-5k and get the base variant of the redmi note 10! it's better all rounder

LOL. I know you guys are arguing about redmi note 4x but the main note 4(snapdragon variant) beats redmi 8 hands down despite being on android 7.

Both note 4X and Note 4 has Snapdragon Variants!!! My argument was on dem Snapdragon Variants as I have never used the mediatek variant

Firstly Time Matters Alot.... We are in 2021 and I have redmi 8 as a back up phone... Its on android 10 and running on miui 12...that alone its a reason to choose it over note 4x..

Time is evolving and every updates makes phone faster and better.. The aututu score of redmi 8 on android 10 is higher than while it was on android 9..

Meaning for every new updates theres a huge difference and Phones runs faster and better... OS matters alot

You don't even need to root phone to enjoy it nowadays... All there's must be put into consideration.. Fast charging, wider screen, bigger battery, bezel effect etc

So why would I want to compare a Phone on nougat android 7 to a phone on Android 10

No matter the amount of updates redmi 8 receives it can never perform faster or better dan the note 4X! Xiaomi focuses more on miui and the miui 11 on the 4x is not much of a difference to the miui 12 on the redmi 8
We're in 2021 and people still buy the iPhone 6 with all the bezels and no guaranteed updates!
I have used both phones and I'll always pick 4x over redmi 8... That's my honest opinion and I respect yours too as u prefer bigger screen with less bezels over performance ☮️

Lol. This is very false abeg. Redmi 8 better pass Redmi note 4x in every single category, except processor of course. Performance would be better still on the Redmi 8

Thank God u know note 4X would perform better dan redmi 8... 4x has full HD display as to 720p on redmi 8. Aluminium build as to d plastic on the redmi 8. Go to GSM arena and compare!!! Redmi Note series are generally better dan just the redmi series be it past or present!
