WHY MASTURBATION IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH

Masturbation plays a big role in a normal sex life. Some of us discover it as children because it starts to feel so good between our legs. Others are shown by our friends.

We continue to masturbate because it feels so good. It gets us ready for mature sexual relationships when we reach adulthood, and it helps us take care of those raging hormonal urges and surges when we are teenagers. Masturbation can enhance mature sexual relationships where two partners use it either as a prelude to other sexual activity, or as the main fare. And it keeps us going when relationships falter, such as when a partner is ill or away. It is a great equalizer in a relationship where one partner needs more sexual activity than the other.


Masturbation is a healthy sexual behavior. Like other behaviors, when over practiced or addicted it can lead to both psychological and physiological imbalances.

The side effects of such changes to the body include:

Fatigue. Feeling tired all the time
Lower back pain
Thinning hair / Hair Loss
Soft / Weak Erection
Premature Ejaculation
Eye floaters or fuzzy vision
Groin / Testicular Pain
Pain or cramp in the pelvic cavity or/and tail bone


Over-masturbation can pose serious threat to sexual and over all health, curing these effects with herbal supplements is safe as herbs do not have side effects and are quick to alleviate the problem. Masturbation has been a way of satisfying sexual desires for both males and females since a long time, it is estimated that 94% of males and 64% of females practice masturbation. To an extent it is treated as harmless and even good for health but when the frequency of masturbation goes beyond the tolerance limit of body organs then its effects are dangerous if left untreated.

The biggest effect of over masturbation is mental rather than physical, person in habit of it gradually shifts away from normal intercourse and finds masturbation more satisfying and pleasurable. People in habit of it always seek few moments of loneliness to masturbate, even slightest arousal can make them aroused and they may feel the urge to discharge.

This situation can promote problems like low libido, ED and lack of orgasm. Other then these problems people in the habit of over masturbation may face the problems like prostatitis, weak parasympathetic nerve, distressed liver, semen leakage, premature ejaculation, sexual exhaustion, impotence and low sperm count.

How much is too much masturbation?
That depends but it’s suggested men keep their ejaculation frequency down to 2-3 times a week. However, sexual activity can be experienced more often if men learn how to orgasm without ejaculation. Doing so can actually store bioenergy into your system and make your penis firmer, your erections last longer, and your ejaculate volume bigger.

Masturbation is a part of life and our sexual practices. In fact, most doctors recommend it, not only to improve sexual experiences but to also promote good general health. However, like most things in life, too much of a good thing can be bad. Excessive masturbation can lead to symptoms like stress, fatigue, and memory loss. In extreme cases, sufferers fall into the pitfalls of impotence and hair loss.


HOW TO STOP MASTURBATING
Before you make an attempt to stop masturbating, there’s an important issue to deal with first. This issue is important because masturbation is a misunderstood addiction.

There are people who think they’re addicted to masturbation and they aren’t. Plenty of people are hooked on masturbation and think there’s nothing wrong with it. Just like the alcoholic who fools him or herself about drinking, the person addicted to masturbation is not doing themselves any favor by trying to deny the problem.

Let’s assume you’ve decided that you are addicted to masturbating. There are many people who are addicted to masturbation and hate themselves for masturbating. Feeling let down in yourself for acting addictively is a signal from nature that you are engaging in a pattern of activity that is self-destructive. But feeling let down in yourself is different than self-hatred. When you hate yourself you condemn your total being. When you feel let down in yourself, you are upset with a certain part of your life.


Self-hatred will not help you stop masturbating. One of the things to understand about self-hatred is: You won’t do something good for someone you hate.

People from all walks of life: the devoutly religious, atheists, agnostics, and people who are moderate in their belief system can find themselves smothered in self-hatred because they are addicted to masturbation and can’t stop.

You might be thinking, “If I have a problem hating myself, how do I stop it?” I can tell you where to start: Evaluate yourself the same way you would evaluate someone else who you were trying to be fair to.

For instance, Paul is addicted to masturbation. He wants to stop. He has been trying ever since he was a teen. He can stop for a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months. But eventually he returns to his masturbation addiction. When he returns he descends into self-hatred. Any person who stops addictive behavior and returns to it will feel let down. But Paul is going beyond feeling let down. He hates himself because he can’t stop masturbating.

If you share his problem here’s my advice to you:

“First, give yourself credit for what you accomplished. You wanted to stop. You gave it a best effort. And you succeeded for a while. Would you hate someone else because they attempted to overcome their problem or would you give the person credit for trying?

“If the person failed would you hate him or her? Or would you try to understand that they did their best? If the person has failed many times would you hate him for failing or would you give him credit for continuing to try in face of failure? If the person was concerned about their problem would you hate her because she was concerned or would you give her credit for identifying her problem and wanting to do something about it?”

Remember, you’re not going to be supportive of a person you hate. You will be on the side of someone who’s trying their best.

Some people think that failure at overcoming a masturbation addiction means you don’t want to stop. There’s more to stopping than just wanting to.

- You need an effective method. “Just say ‘No’” doesn’t work.

- You need an understanding of addiction. Being addicted and understanding what an addiction is are two very different states of mind.

- You need to know the differences between a sex addiction and other kinds of addiction. A big mistake people make when they try to deal with a sex addiction is treating a sex addiction as if it were an alcohol problem. A good example of this is the twelve-step approach. Twelve step is an alcohol program. It is not designed and is not effective for sex addiction.

- You need to know what makes a masturbation addiction different from other kinds of sex addiction. The Most Personal Addiction will give you an in depth discussion of the differences.

- You also need to determine if you are addicted to masturbation. Trumped up charges can only work on a full military regime, where they rule my decree. Under democratic dispensation/setting, it's a different ball game, you will need a concrete evidence to jail anyone arbitrary.

Unless of course Buhari meddle in the judial process of the said case, which is off course is also a possibility judging from his antecedent when he was a military head of state.

Having said all the above, i still think that both Buhari and GEJ has nothing to offer Nigerians. It's going to be the usual pillaging of our common health.

Conclusion: Nigerians deserve better that these lots.

Audu Go­yar Chime, who lost his wife and mother of his children in December 11 Jos blast, narrated what had become of their life after the tragedy.

The 43-year-old native of Plateau State is still in shock over what had happened to his beloved spouse Jummai, The Sun reports.

The two had lived in a happy marriage for 22 years and the woman’s passing came as a big blow to the whole family.

The grieving husband narrated how he had been looking for Jummai in the hospital after the incident. He eventually found her: the dead body lying on the floor of the Plateau Hospital morgue among other corpses, yet to be claimed.

“I was devastated. If she was sick and died, it would have been easier to bear than to find someone who left home hale and hearty dead in a mortuary about 24 hours later. If I say it has been easy for me to bear, I will be lying. When I went out today, it was to collect drugs from the clinic to help my heart.”

The family now experiences not only emotional but also serious financial problems. Audu is to support their 6 children of different age.

“I cannot think of how I will cater for six children alone. I am a mason. I fend for my family from the proceeds I make from working at construction sites. But lately business has been bad. We do not get much to do. It was this woman that was helping out from the little she makes. She usually bought what we ate on her way back home. The children are also not finding it easy to bear. The little one cries throughout the night because he cannot get breast milk. We now give him the food we eat and supplement it with Viju milk. When he gets up in the night we give him Viju milk again. After whimpering for some time, he sleeps off.”

Like many other relatives of Boko Haram victims, Audu confessed that he had never thought that the tragedy would hit his family.

“I have been hearing about Boko Haram but never thought it will ever come close to me or that I will ever become a victim. We are poor and only going out to look for our own daily bread. If we decide to stay at home, nobody will come to our rescue. So, see what has become of us going to look for our daily bread.”

The widower prayer for job to allow his children to finish their education. Without Jummai he has no one else to rely on, except for God.

“My appeal now is that people should assist me with a job. I do not want to remove my children from school. I have three in secondary school and two in primary. The eldest one needs to write his SSCE exams to be able to further his studies. It is only the last one that is yet to start school. I am now looking onto God to assist me. When their mother was alive, she was assisting me with their feeding and schooling but now the future looks bleak.”

He also expressed discontent with the fact that some blamed the traders for going to the market and attracting the crowd.

“Even though the traders were blamed for going to that market, but my own wife was not selling there. She was just unfortunate to be there at the time of the incident. She has no stall there. There is no way one could have known that danger was lurking at a corner. Govern­ment should know that any gathering can become a target for these evil people. They attack churches and mosques. Can they also blame people for going there? While my family learns to cope with this sad situation in which we have found our­selves, we leave our fate in God’s hand. Just like my son’s name, we believe God’s will be done.”

One of Jummai’s daughters, 15-year-old Faith, disclosed how they had learnt the terrible news, which changed their life.

“By six in the evening, she was usually back home. What kept her till 6:30pm when the bomb exploded I do not know.

When I did not see her up till 7:00pm, I went down the road to look for her. All the other women who went out to sell wares like her were all back home. I went as far as Jenta Makeri to look for her but did not see her.

“When I came back, the boys in the area also went out to check on her but came back with no news. That night, nobody could sleep. We were awake throughout the night and were hungry hoping she would come back with something for us to cook for dinner. Before my mother died, my youngest brother, who is about one year and two months old was still breastfeeding. He cried throughout the night. In the morning, the search was taken to the various hospi­tals. It was at one of the hospitals that we found her dead.”


According to the state officials, December 11 gruesome attack in Jos killed 31 people.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, warned Nigerians against choosing the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, President in 2015.

Mu’azu is sure that with the former military Head of State, Nigeria will return to combative presidency, Vanguard reports.

He also added that Buhari was not capable of operating in a free, democratic society. Mu’azu insisted that the APC candidate, if elected, would involve in “witch-hunting” of “perceived enemies” and imprison them for “200 years”.

The party chairman made the claims in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tony Amadi.
“General Buhari is the product of military dictatorship that cannot operate in a free country, he is unlike President Jonathan who at all times favours dialogue and persuasion which are the hallmark of democratic governance.

“We don’t want a combative presidency, which would be busy witch-hunting perceived enemies for trumped charges, then jail them for 200 years. If you read his acceptance speech you will note the language employed show what direction his government will focus.

“The choice before Nigerians in 2015 is quite clear. Do you want a transforming leadership or a retrogressive return to a quasi military dictatorship clad in democratic toga or do you want an environment of human right abuses where people live in fear? Yet it is supposed to be democratic setting.

“All the gains of the past years will be lost when autocratic regime that General Buhari is known for takes over power in Nigeria .”

Mu’azu praised Jonathan calling his power “awesome”. According to the PDP representative, GEJ is the leader to further advance Nigeria.

Lagos – The Police in Lagos on Friday docked a 37-year-old Yinka Daudu, who claimed to be a spiritualist, for allegedly stealing N3.5 million belonging to one Monday Jatau.

The accused was charged before a Shomolu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on a three-count charge for stealing N3.5 million from Jatau, under the pretext that he will solve his spiritual problem.

Mr Thomas Muhammed, the prosecutor, an Inspector of Police, told the court that the accused conspired with others now at large to steal the money, without offering solution to the complainant’s problem.

Muhammed said the accused committed the offences on Aug. 24, at 11.15 a. m. at No. 6, Adenekan St., Bariga in Lagos.

He said that the offences committed contravened Sections 409, 312 (a) (2) and 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011.

Daudu, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Osunsanmi adjourned the case till Feb. 4, 2015, for mention. (NAN)

An Igbo man, a Yoruba man and an Hausa man were lost in a forest and then captured by cannibals. The king of the cannibals told the prisoners that they could live if they pass a trial. The first step was to go deep into the forest and get ten pieces of the same kind of fruits. The three men went their separate ways to gather fruits. Former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, said he has been vindicated following recent revelations from the Department of State Service (DSS) which confirmed his innocence on allegations that he is a sponsor of Boko Haram.

This is coming days after after the DSS paraded six persons, including a former special assistant to Borno State governor Kashim Shettima, who confessed to being the one that cooked up stories about former chief of army staff General Azubuike Ihejirika and Sheriff being Boko Haram sponsors.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen yesterday, the former governor said God used the DSS to exonerate him from the allegations which according to him were a calculated attempt by his political opponents and powerful top government officials in his state to bring him down, Leadership reports.
He explained that the reason he was constantly under attack was because of his efforts to ensure victory for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Borno State.

An Australian negotiator, Steven Davis, who claimed to have been involved in negotiations on behalf of the Federal Government with commanders of Boko Haram for the release of over 200 Chibok schoolgirls had named Sheriff and Ihejirika(rtd) as the sponsors of Boko Haram.

Sheriff said: “Nigerians, by now, should have been convinced about my innocence on the lies being told against my person as a major sponsor of Boko Haram, but by God’s will, no amount of attacks would deter me from taking Borno State to the right path of politics and development.”

“Do I need to stress to you that the government has vindicated me as the outcome of investigations have more clearly revealed the source of the blackmail against me. Those behind the plots to smear my name are more on the spot now, going by what has happened.

“I have always said that attempts to give me a bad name will always fail. I stand by the truth and I will not relent in pursuing the truth. Let them continue to toe the line of evil against me, but rest assured that those involved would soon burn their fingers.”

He further praised the DSS for its relentless quest to unravel the mysteries behind Boko Haram, while also calling on Nigerians to always accord the government and security agencies the necessary cooperation they need to win the war against terrorism in the country.

The DSS in a statement on Wednesday said its investigations into Davis’ allegation had shown that those he claimed to have interacted with were Boko Haram impostors.

One of those arrested, Junaid Idrisa Khadi, in his statement at the DSS office, said he deliberately conspired to blackmail and implicate Ali Modu Sheriff.

Reacting to his aides arrest, the Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima had commended the security for the successful operation, encouraging them however to treat Khadi in the same way as other suspects, in accordance with the law.

A Kado Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Thursday sentenced a 23 -year-old carpenter, Abdulrahman Haruna, to eight months imprisonment for house breaking and theft.

The judge, Mr Abubakar Sadiq, sentenced the accused to three months for the first-count charge and five months for the second-count charge with no bail option as he admitted committing the offence.
The prosecutor, Insp. Simon Ibrahim, had told the court that Rita Ifua of Plot 178, Maglobal Estate, Gwarimpa, Abuja, reported the matter at Gwarimpa Police Station.

Australian actor Jeremy Kewley was charged with 103 child sex offences in a Melbourne court on Thursday, news reports said.

It said that Kewley, 54, allegedly invited boys for screen tests in 2011, where he touched them inappropriately.

According to the report, he is best known for roles in the popular Australian soap opera “Neighbours’’ and crime series Janus.

The report cited a police statement to the court where images of young boys were also allegedly found on his computer.

However, the actor was allowed bail and will appear in court again in March. (dpa/NAN)

A look at 32 year-old Sani Saidu , will never pass him for a betrayer, let alone a killer , owing to his quiet disposition and soft way of speaking. But his disposition has only proved to be deceptive after all , as he is currently cooling his heels at the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department ,SCID, Yaba , Lagos, over a case of alleged murder.

The Gombe state born suspect allegedly stabbed one Mr Shittu Aremu, driver of a truck to death while accompanying him to Port Harcourt, Rivers state, destination of the 40,000 litre of petroleum product .
The late Aremu whose age was put around 56 years, was a driver to S.K Transport Service Nigeria Limited . He reportedly loaded the truck with plate number AGL 368 XA with aviation fuel worth N5.5 million and consequently left Lagos for Port Harcourt on November 13, 2014, to discharge the product.

But before leaving Lagos State, he was said to have invited Saidu to work with him as his motor boy, with a promise to pay him an undisclosed amount at the end of the trip. But little did he realize that the invitation would end his life.

The first sign that signalled an unpalatable situation for the truck driver, followed difficulty by his employee to reach him on his mobile phone, two days after he embarked on the journey.

Further checks from the tracking device on the truck reportedly showed that the truck had been diverted from its original route to somewhere around Mutum Biu, in Taraba state.

Suspecting that the driver had a sinister motive up his sleeve ,the company reportedly lodged a complaint at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID, Yaba, where detectives swung into action by travelling to Taraba state. Fortunately for them, the truck was recovered at the Taraba state Police Command, with only Saidu, the motorboy.

I stabbed him, threw him out of the truck
Preliminary investigation as gathered , revealed that Saidu allegedly murdered the truck driver before diverting the truck to the northern part of the country.

In this interview, Saidu gave a graphic description of how he stabbed his master with a knife and threw him out of the truck , before taking over the steering..

Asked what made him carry out such dastardly act, Saidu replied : “ I killed Mr Aremu because I wanted to sell the aviation fuel and use the money to travel to Dubai on a business trip”

Narrating how he snuffed life out of Aremu whom he fondly called baba Oyo, , Saidu said: “ A day after we left Lagos, at about 6pm, the company called baba Oyo and instructed him to park at Umunede, Delta state for security reason and that he should proceed on the journey the following day.

While there , I bought a knife without him knowing and tied it with a rope on my leg. Very early the third day, baba Oyo started the ignition to continue the journey. As he was about to move, I told him that one of the tyres had developed a fault. I came out of the vehicle and pretended to be checking the tyres. I went to his side of the truck, bent down as if checking the tyres and in the process, I brought out my knife. But as I raised my hand to stab him, he held my hand and we started struggling, in the process of which the knife cut me on the index finger. I succeeded in stabbing him first on the lap and blood started gushing out. Again, I stabbed him again in the stomach, leaving the knife in there. By then he was too weak to shout.

Thereafter, I pushed him out of the vehicle and mounted the driver’s seat and zoomed off.

Diverts truck to the north
My intention was to take the aviation fuel to Taraba state and sell it at the black market. When I got to Adamawa state, I sold four drums , at the rate of N28,000 per drum. On reaching Katsina Ala, the truck developed a fault and I ended up spending N57,000 to fix it. I continued the journey but on reaching Mutum Biu, I was stopped by some soldiers who were on a joint operation with the Police, at a check point. They demanded for the way bill and I showed them.

But one of the policemen asked where the plate number was and I brought it out from where I kept it. I had earlier removed it because the company’s number was inscribed on it. When the policemen dialled the telephone number, they discovered that the vehicle was supposed to be heading for Port Harcourt. When they asked what it was doing at Taraba, I could not provide a ready answer and I was subsequently apprehended”

I wanted to raise 150,000
The father of five whose family resides in Adamawa state further disclosed that “ I did what I did in order to raise N150,000 for a ticket to Dubai. A friend of mine who lives in Kano usually travels to Dubai to buy handsets and sell in Kano. He told me he would take me down if I could raise N150,000. That was why I did what I did. But with the look of things, it is obvious that I am in a big trouble and may never come out of from it for the rest of my life”, he stated remorsefully.

Information at Crime Guard’s disposal revealed that operatives at the SCID would be leaving Lagos for Umunede in Delta state, to inspect the spot where the suspect claimed to have thrown Aremu’s body, with a view to ascertaining whether he is alive or not.

Police sources however hinted that the driver’s seat of the recovered truck was stained with blood, adding that at the end of investigation, the suspect would be charged to court for murder and stealing.

ABUJA—The General Court Martial sitting at the Army Headquarters Garrison in Abuja yesterday sentenced 54 soldiers to death after finding them guilty of mutiny. 59 soldiers were on trial on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy to commit mutiny and mutiny.

Four of them were however acquitted.

While the judgment was going on, stern looking soldiers posted at the entry gate into the Mogadishu Barracks, turned back journalists saying they had instructions not to allow the media into the barracks.

An officer who was at the Court Martial however confirmed that 54 of the 59 soldiers were sentenced to death. The 59 soldiers who were serving in the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency in Borno state, allegedly refused lawful orders by their commander to proceed on a mission to clear out terrorists and secure a town for subsequent military deployments.

All the soldiers had pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them at the commencement of the trial last October. The soldiers are the second batch of Nigerian soldiers condemned to death by Nigerian Military courts for mutiny.
