Viewers tuning into the BBC’s News at Ten got an eyeful when a woman exposed her naked breasts on a computer screen – just yards behind presenter Sophie Raworth.
A BBC worker, who was wearing headphones and slumped in his chair, was spotted watching the woman remove her bra in the raunchy movie scene.

Ms Raworth, 49, was presenting a live piece on the England cricket team’s victory over South Africa, but eagle-eyed viewers noticed the screen over her shoulder.

Around 3.8million viewers watched the show and one person tweeted: ‘@BBCNews why is there a porn video playing behind one of your news anchors during a report?’ The actress was wearing a black jumper while standing over a man during the clip which could be seen on Monday evening.

In what is believed to be an action movie, she then removed her bra to reveal her breasts during the striptease. A television source told The Sun: ‘This has gone down like a lead balloon at the BBC.

It is totally unprofessional. ‘It beggars belief a sex scene should be played live on air. The employee is on borrowed time when bosses catch up with him.’ The BBC said it is investigating the incident.

Nigerian musician D’banj, has disclosed to newsmen why he keeps his private life and marriage a secret.
The multiple award winner spoke with THE BEAT 99.9 FM on Thursday, and explained why he is not very open about his marriage, he said that he did not want the usual complications that plagues celebrity relationships.

In his words;

“I decided to keep my marriage to Didi a secret because based on experience relationships like this get mixed with media hypes and speculations and then it becomes complicated,” said D’banj.

“I want to thank my close friends, parent and families for keeping this secret. You know the pressure to get married was this high and mum told me she wants to see the girl I am dating and would want to marry. A high court in Rivers state has sentenced three persons to death for lynching 4 students in Aluu community in 2012.



The Court presided over by Justice Nyordee has also discharged and acquitted the remaining 4, TVC reports.

The Nigerian Air Force has said it spent N344m to fuel various aircraft deployed in the fight against Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East between April and June 2017.
While revealing that a total of 568 missions were conducted during the period, the Air Component Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Air Commodore Tajudeen Yusuf, said that the Air Force personnel flew for 1,256 hours during the period.
He said the NAF deployed four helicopters to bring 82 rescued Chibok schoolgirls from Banki to Maiduguri, Borno State, on May 7.
He said, “Our air efforts were focused largely on generating day and night intelligence surveillance reconnaissance and armed reece to identify targets for air interdiction.
“From April to June 2017, a total of 568 missions were conducted in 1,256 hours and nine minutes by the various platforms.
“For all these sorties, 1,227,502 litres of Jet-A1 fuel and 1,273 litres of MOGAS (a grade of petrol) were consumed. We spent a total of N344, 451,630 on fuel within the 90 days of operation.
“The air component recorded some achievements during the period, including the conduct of significant liaison and humanitarian outreach missions. One was the extraction of Chibok schoolgirls from Banki to Maiduguri on May 7. The 82 rescued Chibok schoolgirls were extracted to Maiduguri using the Mi-17, EC-135 and two Agusta-109 LUH helicopters.
“Eighteen members of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Department of State Services were also airlifted. All the airlift missions were conducted in a total of 16 sorties, using the four helicopters.”

Two armed robbers were reportedly shot dead in a gun battle with the Kano State Police command and gang of robbers who shot a Police Patrol vehicle along Kano/Zaria road at a point close to Garun Mallam Village.


This was revealed in a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson, DSP. Magaji Musa Majia.

According to him, the superior response officers attached to the Patrol van gave the robbers, sent the rest running.He further stated that one locally made AK 47 rifle, 1 revolver pistol, 12 live ammunition, charms and torchlight were recovered.

A total of 13 members of armed robbery syndicates that specializes in car/motorcycle snatching were also paraded by the police command.

“Two members of armed robbery syndicate namely Yusuf Umar, 30, old of Tokarawa Village and Amadu Mohammed 33yrs of Kankan Village both in Gezawa LGA were arrested at Tokarawa Qtrs Kano while on robbery operation. 1 locally made assault rifle, 1 revolver pistol, 4 rounds of live ammunition, a set of military-like uniform, 1 cutlass, 2 motorcycles and their operational vehicle Golf III with registration No. AX 571 KMC painted taxi colour were recovered.

The suspects confessed to belong to a 6 man syndicate that has been operating and terrorizing people in Gezawa LGA, blocking GGSS Jogana Junction along Kano/Ringim/Hadejia Road. Also arrested during investigation is one Murtala Adamu of Aujarawar Alkali in Gezawa LGA, an Auto-Mechanic who leeks information to the gang on victims to be attacked especially when he sights valuables while invited for mechanical repairs at home. Investigation is in progress to arrest the fleeing members of the gang.

With active implementation of Community based Policing, our operatives were hinted on the rising movement of strange and suspicious movement of people in Gaida Qtrs Kano, and on Sunday 2nd July, 2017 a hideout of very notorious syndicate of armed robbers who specializes in car/motorcycle snatching was raided.

Six members of the syndicate were arrested on the spot, one Golf wagon motor vehicle and three motorcycles were recovered from them.

They led detectives to the arrest of 3 other persons who receive, purchase and dispose the stolen items from them.

Five motorcycles and one master key were also recovered from them. All the suspects confessed to the commission of the offences and stated that they usually operate along Madobi/Zaria/Kaduna highway, snatching vehicles and other valuables belonging to innocent road users.

Another syndicate was busted at Hotoro Qtrs in which 2 suspected armed robbers who snatched a Sienna motor vehicle at gun point on 29/6/2017 were arrested.

In the Course of investigation, the said Sienna and one Volkswagen Golf III Car were recovered from them.

The suspects confessed to the crime. Manhunt of the fleeing members of the syndicate is ongoing.

The owner of the recovered Sienna M/V has been identified after presenting all required documents and it will be handed over to him in your presence.
Yahaya Usman of Malali Qtrs Kaduna State, a professional car thief was also arrested with a black Honda Civic that was snatched from the owner. Investigation is in progress.

An up-and-coming French singer, Barbara Weldens, has reportedly collapsed and died in the middle of a concert at a festival.

Her cause of death is unclear but one report claims she may have been electrocuted, although it is unclear what may have cause this, with other reports citing she suffered a cardiac arrest but was unable to be saved.

The 35-year-old singer, who released her debut album in February, was on stage for the Festival Léo Ferré in the Church of the Cordeliers in the village of Goudron in the Lot region in south-west France.

According to La Depeche, She had a camera on stage and sung barefoot and it is speculated that she may have touched an electric device that was live on stage.

They also report that her death ‘provoked a very lively emotion among the spectators’.

Police have opened an investigation to ‘search for the causes of the death’ and it is believed they will be analysing the images from various videos taken on the night to assist with their inquiry.

According to Europe 1, The prosecutor’s office said:

They ‘will see in the next weeks if a requalification is necessary’,

The festival has now been cancelled.

The organisers of Pic d’Or said in a statement:

‘It was with great emotion that we learned this morning of the death of Barbara Weldens, our Pic d’Or 2016 at a concert last night in Gourdon in the Lot, obviously electrocuted.

‘Our team is deeply disturbed by the brutal disappearance of the artist who had appeared on the stage of the Theater des Nouveaux on May 20th, during our last edition.

‘A radiant woman, full of energy and talented, and of course we think of all her family and her loved ones.’

Weldens was an up-and-coming singer and won a young talent award in the Jacques Brel Young Talent Competition last year.

Her debut album is titled Le grand H de l’homme.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has today written the House of Representatives to request N136.5 billion for critical projects in the 2017 national budget.
Osinbajo earlier signed the 2017 Budget in June upon the agreement between the Executive and Legislature that a request for virement can be sent later, which he is now doing.
The projects include the railway standard gauge projects, the Mambilla Power Project, the Second Niger Bridge, the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway etc.
The Acting President added that the budgetary allocations would be reinstated by way of an application for virement by the Executive.
“It is as a result of that understanding and the outcome of our detailed engagements that we feel able to sign the 2017 Appropriations Bill into law today,” he said.

The Imo State Police Command in Owerri has arrested the owner of a restaurant, City Garden Resort, at Banana Junction, Amaifeke, Chimezie Agubata, for allegedly abducting three children and selling two of them.

Agubata, who hails from Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State and reportedly manages an orphanage home, God’s Favour Orphanage Home, in Okporo, was paraded by the police on Friday.
A widow, Mrs. Esther Agwu, narrated to newsmen at the police station how Agubata allegedly abducted her three children and sold off two of them.
The widow, who hails from Amasiri Afikpo Community in Ebonyi State, said she had been working for Agubata when the suspects allegedly abducted the children under the guise that he was taking care of them.

The widow said it was by God’s grace that her eldest child escaped from Agubata’s home when he noticed that his siblings had been given to two different persons, who took them away in different vehicles.
Agwu explained that it was one Ifeanyi, who introduced her to Agubata, upon the demise of her husband.

The widow said the suspect promised to offer her a job without knowing that he was in the business of abducting and selling children.
Agwu said,

“He told me that his wife was not happy that my children were playing around on his business premises and that he would want my three children to stay with his mother in her house. He presented one woman who claimed to be his mother and from the shop she left with my children.

“That same day, he told me that there is one of his uncles in Lagos whose wife has difficulty in child bearing and that the man would want to see me for marriage. He then gave me N5,500 to go to Lagos and told me that he would come and pick me at the park.

“The following day, I left for Lagos to see the proposed husband. But when I got to Lagos, a woman called and picked me and kept me in a place that looked like a brothel with prostitutes.

“I asked her about the man. She said I will go to Ghana or stay in Lagos and do what others were doing at the brothel. I had to run out of the place and went to the street, where I started begging for assistance. Some people assisted me with transport fare with which I immediately travelled back to Orlu to look for my children,” Agwu recounted.

The state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said the command was determined to eradicate child trafficking in the state.
Ezike said operatives of the command had been charged to go after people who derive joy in trading in human beings, especially little children, adding that anybody who got involved in running illegal orphanages would be brought to justice.

A 40-year-old Mark Jennens was arraigned in court for killing his elderly mother after a quarrel over making potatoes as dinner in UK.
Mark Jennens, who appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court last week was accused of the manslaughter of his mother Hazel, a 78-year old ailing mother.
According to report, Jennens got provoked by the old woman who tried to sabotage his effort while he was making their dinner.
Jennens was said to have frog-marched his mother, who had osteoporosis and lung cancer, to the door, fracturing her hip. She later died from bronchopneumonia in hospital.
According to a transcript read out during his court trial, the man said he lost temperament on his 78-year-old mother after calling him stupid.
“After being told I’m stupid for trying to sort dinner out, I just lost it and went to chuck her out of the door”, Mark claimed.
Hazel died two days after undergoing surgery over the attack from son.
