All this character flaws we all have that you people keep rambling about is simply attempts at backtracking and pretending that Pere did not directly affect and ruin Maria's chances from the beginning and people never forgave her.
For Pete's sake, we have seen more problematic and controversial HMs.

Tboss had issues with everyone yet got to the finals, Tacha was problematic,
was almost in the finals, Ceec had no filter, tore her payporte outfit, indicted Ebuka, almost destroyed Lolu's dick, insulted Tobi and his family. Ceec used to be called Cee Liar because she would say stuffs and lie about it in front of Ebuka yet she was accorded the grace to get into the finals.
Lucy slut shamed Nengi yet got love and support that evening. Double Standards and Nonsense.

What I am implying here is that Maria's case was simply a consequence of falling out of the good books of viewers courtesy of Pere and she never recovered from that blow so whatever she did was overexaggerated coupled with the fact that her fans were obsessed with Pere and could not come through for her last week. Viewers were just unnecessarily hard on Maria. They would overlook others but tore her up.
Next season, another girl will come and you all will say ah Maria was not this terrible. That's nonesense.
Whether you accept it or not, Pere ruined Maria's chances and she was a pawn in his game in his desperation to take down another Hm. Well, he has already taken out one of his competition ,he will now restrategize while Maria watch him and the one he manipulated her to fight become good friends.

You are one of those Maria fans that don't have sense. Look at how you are all over the place heavily campaigning for Pere. In what way are you helping Maria by campaigning and voting for Pere? Did she send you to do that? You are only doing this out of your hatred for White money because that is the main uniting factor between Pere fans and Marians.

I have been on this forum and not for once did you ever call out Pere or address the obvious fact that he was destroying her chances when he started manipulating and inciting her against White Money. Not even when Pere went to drag her twice in the diary room, a supposed friend. Or don't you understand that going against White was what caused Maria's downfall and subsequently made her lose grace in viewers eyes. At the end, Maria lost fans and Pere gained more passionate fans.

You are not even ashamed to start dragging Maria with her flaws and you call yourself a Marian? Is Maria more flawed than other Hms that have been on this show! Maria deserves better fans!

Maria was loved and was everywhere when the show started till she got closer to Pere and his dark aura and let him get into her head by inciting her against White money who did nothing wrong to her. You saw the outrage on social media,the threats and hatred. If you don't acknowledge this fact then you are disingenuous and pretentious.
People refused to forgive and move on from that incident. Everything Maria did thereafter was amplified and exaggerated because she already lost public support and love.
Ironically, It was Pere that gained fans and public sympathy from the whole upset because people wanted to see a vilian upstage the viewer's favourite.
Maria simply lost and even those that originally chose her decamped to Pere and White money.

I knew it was going to end this way immediately she alligned with Pere and bought a beef that doesn't belong to her but I didn't know it was going to be this early.
The truth is White Money was equally going to leave if not that he gained a large fanbase. Pere moved against him with that kitchen strategy and wild card nonesense that was capable of inciting Hms and viewers against White money.

Pere's strategy was dangerous and he ended up taking down Maria in the process. As if that was not enough, he entered the DR to drag Maria twice and kept spreading embarrassing gist about her.
I blame Marians for not spinning things to her advantage because of their fantasy and delusional ship. People that were busy trolling other Hms yet couldn't see and call out Pere for messing up Maria's game.
A big sign of Stockholm syndrome.

By the time the show is over, Pere would have successfully colonized and swallowed the entire Maria fanbase. Her fanbase is a mess and I felt like a wasted by time this season. Such incorrigible people.

The way Maria allowed herself to be eliminated and upstaged by Pere is unbelievable. Now watch Pere take over the remaining fans Maria has, look at all of them campaigning for Pere and voting for him like he is married to Maria. Don't you people understand that Pere caused Maria's downfall after he used her to fight White money? By the time the show is over, Maria will be left with fans that are more passionate and dedicated to Pere.
I am a Marian but I am ashamed of that fanbase. Maria deserves better fans that will concentrate on her.

They spent time adopting and defending Pere because of a toxic ship instead of calling out how Pere was tarnishing Maria's image and ruining her chances.
It's a pity.
