The embassy will likely not respond to you. You can ask your lawyer to assist with the process. Since it is to visit only, you can send an invitation letter and notarised letter of consent that you invite then and will be responsible for them and along with your statement of account and maybe your wife showing sufficient funds. However, you may likely get a rejection that they do jot have enough evidence to show they will only visit and not return to Nigeria.

In that case, I will proceed with only my wife traveling alone. I am also planning a trip home in August, as any delay in obtaining the TRC beyond November may make it difficult for me to travel in December for the holidays.

My people, I would appreciate guidance on the procedure for inviting my wife and children to Poland for a short visit. I have contacted the embassy twice without receiving a response. For context, I currently hold a Type D visa valid until January 2027, and I have already applied for a TRC through my lawyer to extend my stay till August next year. I did not legalise any of my documents. Regarding the appointment, I was contacted directly by the embassy after I sent them an email outlining the details of my fellowship.

You can use KLM, Air France, Lufthansa as well. Your Polish D visa is sufficient for a stopover.

This was my first time applying for a Polish visa, so I was not fully aware of some requirements for POF. In fact, I included photocopies of my payslips from June to December 2005, statements from salary account, and 2 other personal accounts. Additionally, my monthly fellowship stipend is well above average, which already places me in a strong financial position. Maybe other people can help you on that question. Cheers.

Payment for a national visa is usually made in cash at the embassy and in Euros.
Naira cards are not accepted.
As for the Naira equivalent, it cannot be stated exactly because exchange rates fluctuate. The amount in Naira will depend on the prevailing exchange rate at the time you source the Euros.

My visa category differs from a student visa, although it also requires a Type D national visa. I am a beneficiary of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (see link: https://nawa.gov.pl/en/scientists/the-ulam-programme) for established researchers to conduct research in Poland. I submitted a detailed email to the embassy, and included my offer letter, monthly stipend details, and full credentials. My host at the University of Warsaw also contacted the embassy with my details too. I guess that was why I received the phone call and my appointment was scheduled. If your case is the same, you may consider doing that. Please avoid some un.fortunate sc.ammers in this thread that are asking for money to be added to a paid WhatsApp group or to book an appointment for you. Many of them are impersonating Freedomtours and sending unsolicited messages. Just ignore them.

National D visa is a long term visa for study, work etc. You really should not have any problem with visa as a NAWA scholar. For appointments, you can send a mail to the embassy.

Getting Visa appointment for any category of visa is high now, yes people being denied, and many are also getting visa approval, that's if you put up a good visa application and addressing what the Visa officer needs and some times it goes beyond the requirement you see on their website.
with me my little experience, their requirements sometimes are generic, that's if you provide the right documents, you don't need to submit too much documents to get visa, mostly in the area of your sponsor financial capacity, if you have someone in Poland, sometimes they go as far as calling those your sponsor, relation in in Poland in other to verified and they do this to all the applicants, i can attest to this because i have experienced it with some of those that got visa and they confirmed to me that their sponsors and the rest was contacted. Another thing is you study the pass questions to score high during your interview question, this is very important, even wrong flight itinerary can cause your visa denied, they are little things but matters so much.
