Exam malpractice/cheating has nothing to do with wisdom or smartness, rather, it is an indicator of poor preparation, lack of self confidence, fear, greed, corruption or depravity of the mind.
Exam malpractice may take different forms such as copying from friends, using micro- chips or machinery etc, but as a follower of Christ, it is what it is!
Since, you have decided to quote scripture "wisdom is profitable to direct", what about "shall we continue in sin ( deceipt by presenting certificate one cheated and arrogating it to self effort) so that grace ( God's mercy) may abound?

For me, students and parents are to be blamed.
I do part- time teaching in schools. As we speak the students that registered in one of the school are not turning up for classes.
Reason being that, they don't want to pay school fees for 2nd and 3rd term.
Though we've covered our scheme, my intention was to treat past questions, topics they find difficult and mock exams every three weeks from second term but they failed to turn up.
The first week of resumption (i.e 2nd term) I asked them to state topics giving them hard time to handle in Chemistry, surprisingly, none of them submitted till they left.
I have been redeployed.
I rejected SS3 in one of the school because they have two others teachers (N/B: the students were very sad when they learnt I'm not going with them to SS3), while in the former I'm the only one taking chemistry.
Maybe when specimens are out, I will organize a class for them and leave them to fate.

Economy is not helping matters.

Just when I thought of commending the woman, my mind recalled what my former neighbour told me.

In her words " I set trap for my husband, and I'm fall".

If you teach in a private school, my advice is learn the ability to ignore.
Personally, if a student don't interrupt my class unnecessarily, I just ignore and continue my teaching.
I also make enquiry on mode of discipline on resumption (for teachers and students).
And if any student refused the punishment, I will walk him/her out of by asking him/her to report self to higher authority, I will later go and give my own part of the story.

I have decided not to teach morals in class except those that needs it (it is no more my duty, parents and school owners should take care of that).
And if I do, it is advice only or call the student(s) involve for counseling.

I have decided not to work as full time teacher in any private school, if you need my service it must be part time, once I'm done, I move.
