This Lekki road is a total rip off on tax payers in the Lekki Ajah axis.

It is immoral to collect tolls for roads that are supposed to be a social service by govt. More so this is the only access road from VI/Ikoyi to that axis and their only connection to other parts of Lagos.

There are at least 100,000 tax paying employees in this area. Govt routinely deducts huge sums as PAYE from these category of people.

Now a Quick analysis. Using the house rent in Lekki area as a basis (generally btw 400thousand - 4million naira) and the fact that most people spend btw 10%-20% of their annual income as house rent. The average annual salary is about 4million Naira per annum. This translates to an annual tax of 800,000 per person to Lagos Govt. That is a whopping 80billion Naira to Lagos state Govt. Add probably an additional 80-100 billion for tenement rates, business place taxes and other forms of taxes businesses are subjected to in this area. So Lagos state govt. makes at least 150-200billion per annum from the Lekki-Ajah axis.

70-80 billion even if it is 200 billion will give us a modern 8 lane express complete with flyovers at 1st, 3rd, 4th and Ajah junctions. Govt can conveniently spread this work over two years using a reputable company like Julius Berger and not give it to an incompetent company like HI-TECH whose only competence appears to be in designing Toll gates!!

The future of people living in this area that already pay enormous taxes to Lagos state government is being mortgaged to Lekki Concession company for the next 30yrs.

LCC and Hitech are owned by Tinubu and his cronies. Tinubu arranged a life time pension for himself and children using his executive might as a governor.

Why should a company spend an estimated 300million dollars (45billion naira) and make for the next 30 years 800billion - 1 trillion naira from toll gates planned for 1st round about, Chenvron area, and Ajah. This is IMMORAL.

An estimated 70000 cars use these roads every day. This translates to 21 billion naira per annum and about 650billion over 30years that is if the toll is 100 Naira. but it looks like they are planning for between 150 Naira - 200 Naira for cars /jeeps. Which means they could make over 1 trillion Naira from that neighbourhood over 30yrs, i.e if they don't increase the rates over time. THIS IS IMMORAL.This expense translates to an additional burden of 296000 Naira per annum to Lekki residents, since this is the only Road in and Out of LEKKI.

Lekki-Ajah residents also have a RIGHT to the good things of FASHOLAS government. wE ARE Yet to see the impact of Fashola's govt. in Lekki-Ajah axis.

MR FASHOLA Please CANCEL THIS ILLEGAL CONTRACT With LEKKI CONCESSION Company and pay them OFF for the less than 5% work they've done so far and Mobilise Julius Berger to deliver the dividends of Democracy to us in the Lekki -Ajah Axis.

We pay our taxes and we expect it to be used to develope where we live also, and not other parts of Lagos , while we suffer.

Junijustin, that could be correct and goes to show u that it is not Pastor Chris who's doing the healing but it's your faith that enables u to tap into your healing. But the moment you leave there, the devil will come to steal ur healing, he'll tell u lies and make u believe you're not really okay yet. If you do not stand on the word of God and declare ur healing then you could believe the devil and lose ur testimony. It has nothing to do with Pastor Chris.

Once you get healed like that, just keep praising God, giving ur testimony and enforcing ur healing by the word of God, before long what u have been confessing will become permanent in ur life by the Power of the Holy Ghost.

Until you surrender your life to Christ you'll continue to toil and labour with no fruits to show for it (this is what the scripture says). The truth is that there is no other way to avert the curse which came upon mankind but thru Jesus Christ. For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Your intelligence, knowledge, human effort etc cannot avert the curse of the law.

To avert the curse of the law , Repent! I assure you the Lord is always ready to forgive you and have mercy on you. If you choose not to repent, that is your choice, but be ready to pay the price. Which is to be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity after the great judgement.

Lagos Boy, Show me where in the New Testament you have a command to kill unbelievers? There is no where it is written.

You made reference to the crusades and all that, but were they successfulCompared to David and the Israelites in the old testament?? Were they in alignment with the New Testament? At a time the Israelites had to fight for the survival of their nation but that was in the old covenant. In the new covenant, it is no longer a physical battle but a Spiritual warfare. Christians are led by the new covenant.

Now also tell me, back here in Nigeria. How many Churches have preached to their congregation on Sunday to go out and kill all infidels and straight from church they go on a massive slaughter of non christians. NONE.

But this happens over and over again in the North where they are in the majority. They go on a killing spree right from the door step of their mosques. You see, it is embedded in the islamic religion, as proven from the verse I earlier quoted above.

Islam is not the solution. Jesus is the only way to God. Serve him and you'll truly enjoy the Righteousness, Joy and Peace of God.

Pastor Chris is not a dupe. Several people have received miraculous healing just by watching his television programs. My Dad was one of them and he was not even 500km near his crusade.

Now you think of it , if he has to pay every person that is healed in is crusades 10,000 Rand. Then his ministry will be broke by now.

A Born Again Christian should abstain from alcohol.

Why?? Remember as a born again, you are of a royal priesthood and you are a king and priest before God.

Now See what is written about alcohol for Kings in the book of Proverbs 31:4-6

4.It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5.Lest they drink , and forget the law , and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted .
6.Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish , and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Strong Drink is for those that are ready to perish. If you're already dead in sin, it doesn't matter anyway. As a believer if you're still struggling with this question. Then check your salvation experience, Are you really born again? Have you committed to be a disciple of Christ? If not then thus the struggle with alcohol.
