First of all, i dont have a problem...i can see you do..
secondly, i am not forming ITK cos of course i dont it all. If you have read this thread from the beginning, you will come across where someone else advised against this type of thing and that is what i did. ofcourse there is nothing wrong from doing online research cos i did same too. my initial thought was that he wanted to copy someone else's.
Thirdly, the guy/woman in question has clarified that what he meant was bullet point step by step process on writing the SOP and not that he wants to copy some one else..fine, i understood. so seriously, i dont knw where ur jumping into the matter from. i can see ur bored to hell so please get a grip on ur life.
Lastly, we all are faceless here as long as this forum is concrened so you dnt knw me and u dont knw where i am now so please, suck it up and get it together.

@bpatient : Don't mind those self righteous, I know it all folks. Selfishness is their issue. No two individuals have the same story. Our finger print is unique. And No one knows it all. You only need a sample to craft your own story.
The below might be of help :

4. use google to find more e.g. " sop for canada student visa : nairaland " without the quotation mark will give you results limited
to Nairaland so you will be able to see Samples earlier pasted by successful applicants.

oga/Madam - the last time i checked, there is a word called PERSONAL inside that SOP. yes - that is why it is personal ..u dont have to lift, copy and paste or modify what someelse has written. no 2 SOP's should be the same. Abeg, let us begin to apply ourselves. if an impromtu essay comes up during your studies, how u go take do am? u go begin ping, watsapp, skype, facetime, twitter even instagram @thawarriboy ,evergreeny2k et al to help you. Common people.

My frined and former colleague who jst joined Uni of Reg - Post grad said our style of learning and theirs are not the same so that i shld be prepared and expect anything during classes. so my dear, apply yourself so dat you can defend your admission even to ur kids. Expo no dey there oo..

So,so sorry to hear that your visa was revoked last year. I think you can apply for renewal now. The issue of the revoked visa is most likely to come up,just be truthfull,appologise that you made a regretable mistake by not telling the truth during your last interview and that you are sorry about it. Pls @cherie24 HOW did they revoke your visa. Did you contact the embassy to say you were not travelling again or did they revoke it at the point of entry.

I sent them an email to declare the preggy so they called me to come with the passport. Please bear in mind that this didnt happen in Naija ooo

Applying early or late depends on the school's calender. So check the school's admission/department's website to see when admission for fall 2016 will open

Hello Every one..Congrats to the newmums...you can never imagine the joy and happiness awaiting you. i put to bed 8months ago and she keeps amazing me everyday. I had my visa revoked (am sure some of you might be familiar with my story)..anyways, visa was revoked cos i declared i was preggy after i was issued a visa. meanwhile durinfg the interview, the VO asked me if i was preggy, i said no. long story short, visa was revoked.

It's been close to a year now and i want to apply again for visit and also attend a training..I am worried that they might reject. Any advice will help and will be appreciated.

My good people, i have 2 questions
1. I have written my SOP and its 530 words while the school said maximum 500. Do i need to knock off the excess??
2. I want to apply for Fall (September 2016) is it too early to apply? when should i start applying?

@andre99 - dont mind him..Please apply..its a gud school. like he said Canada is generally a cold country. sometime last 2weeks, the town of Regina was at (-35)degrees so just brace your self for the cold which ofcourse you'll get used to as time goes on.

@jakay - Abeg when did your cousin apply?? has she or he been given admission? 2 friends of mine are currently there in the same dept - HR and they have been encouraging me to apply. Any further tips for me and misslara will be appreciated.

@Bamz...Many thanks... quite a help. Since my st degree is not in mgt or sociology or psycology or any of the sciences, it might be a bit difficult to be accepted with my 1st degree background. So those schools i highlighted above are those accepting without considering your 1st degree course.

Good Morning All and Happy new year. I have been following this thread for sometime now. I have read from past posts . I have gathered some insights, advises, counsels etc that are really educative. i gues i have not reached the stage where some of you are . infact, i am yet to apply for my own course. I intend to further my education having been working for almost 7years now. I think its time for me to go back to school. long story short, I have a 2.1 in foreign languages and i have been working in HR. I want to continue my HR career and i need to boost my education. i have found 3 schools thus -Uni of regina for masters in HR, Uni of lethbridge for 2nd degree in HR and Uni of calgary for certificate in HR program. I intend to apply for sept 2016 session.

Any or further advise concerning other schools will be appreciated. Also, general advise on application processes will be highly appreciated.
