Congratulations to all Batch A prospective corps members posted to Taraba state 'the nature's gift to the nation', I am a C14 corps member serving in d state Bali LGA to be precise. A15 are the luckiest cos u will be using the newly constructed O'camp. Taraba is fun, cost of living is low, the people are hospitable, the weather is harsh(extremely hot in jalingo n cold 17¤C in Gembu) lol, has the best NYSC shedule officer in Nigeria( Benjamin Anjira), the soldiers are friendly, the state cordinator( T.K Freeman) is a father n lots more. the new camp is like 15 minutes before you enter jalingo. the secondary school cant release the venue cuz of the ongoing waec exam

Its the same place we used. You'll have water problems at the beginning cos there's only one reservior for the whole camp. Then problem of convenience (waste disposal) only if they've provided toilets and bathrooms permanently there. Then be prepared to be in a room with 49 other guys. I'm still in touch with most of my roommates from camp

If u can get to camp early, u get the hostels closer to the parade ground, mammy and dining areas. U can get to camp anytime until the swearing in ceremony day which is on thursday.

i think that should be enough bt make sure d medical report is either frm Fed or state gov't owned hospital..dat aside,the redeployment process is very easy here. ciao!

thanks jimwalex, please confirm and get back to us. I heard there's a direct bus to jalingo from Enugu, can anybody confirm this? also somebody should educate us on redeployment because I seriously would be needing it. thanks.
