Subsea Pipelines Installation Analysis (SPIA) with ORCAFLEX Level 3

Purpose

OrcaFlex is the world’s leading package developed by Orcina for the dynamic analysis of offshore marine systems. SPIA Level 3 is for intermediate to advance OrcaFLEX users and focus mainly on pipeline installation modeling & analysis via a rigid stinger. Two (2) main method of pipe lay analysis are presented; namely the simple and explicit.


Description

SPIA Level 3 is purely hands on workshop and gives a comprehensive understanding of how to use the OrcaFlex software for pipe lay analysis either using the simple or explict method. Deligate will learn how to defines x, y, z coordinates for each stinger support method based on project complexity.
