A mild but funny drama played out on Thursday at Eko Hotel In Victoria Island between two of Nigeria’s giants in the Music industry, Davido and Olamide at Kizz Daniels concert. Both artistes were invited to perform at the event when Davido walked past Olamide, oblivious of his presence.

YBNL boss, Olamide had just finished performing on stage and he was making way out of the hotel when the DMW boss and his gang arrived. The indigenous rapper called out to the singer immediately after he sighted him but the latter didn’t even respond.

Olamide ran after the ‘Risky crooner’, holding his shirt to make him stop which he eventually did. At the end, both artistes exchanged hugs and chatted for a while.

The Governor of Edo State yesterday at State House issue a stern cautious statement to Oshiomole and his camp as regarding the progress of Edo State and the APC in the state... Below are his statement:

“Can you imagine a national chairman that is creating problems in his own house? Because of that, we had to suspend him and he remains suspended. We pray that God should have mercy on him because he has done something bad against God and the people of Edo State. He should find his way back into the party and apologise to all.

“If he comes back remorseful and apologetic, we will consider taking him back.”

“If you cannot be a disciplined member of the party, you will leave, whether you are a national chairman or not,” he stated.

“He cancelled the primaries that were done by the party at the state level for the 2019 general elections and did his own. Because he could not control us at the executive, he manipulated the legislature so that he can use the House of Assembly to impeach us.”

“Oshiomhole thought he was setting a trap when he chose Philip Shaibu as my deputy and Osarodion Ogie as Secretary to the State Government (SSG). He thought we will always quarrel, fight and then run to him for settlement.”
“If you behave like a godfather, we will fight you.”

He, however, debunked claims by the terror group that all the victims are Christians.

“Not all 11 of the victims are Christians as claimed by the group, there were three Muslims and 10 Christians that appeared in the captured video on the 17th December,” Salkida said in a post on his website.

“The terrorist group claimed that they spared the lives of two persons that appeared in the earlier video, but did not give their names.

“However, a careful assessment of the video revealed that Suwaiba Kashimu from Nasarawa state, and one other male, were apparently not amongst those killed on Christmas,” Salkida wrote.

“The decision to execute the captives was rather swift, abrupt and shocking. ISWAP had reportedly opened a window of negotiations ostensibly to exchange the freedom of the captives with those of its members in government custody but the Nigerian government failed to take the offer.”

The killing comes few hours after Boko Haram jihadists killed seven people on Christmas Eve in a raid on a Christian village near the town of Chibok in Borno State.

Dozens of fighters driving trucks and motorcycles stormed into Kwarangulum late Tuesday, shot fleeing residents and burnt homes after looting food supplies.

Boko Haram and its IS-affiliated Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) faction have recently stepped up attacks on military and civilian targets.

Army keeps mum as ISWAP executes 11 Christian captives in North East

THE Nigerian Army has maintained sealed lips hours after reports emerged that 11 captives in the den of Islamic State of West Africa Province, (ISWAP) were executed on Christmas Day.

Neither the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) nor the Nigerian Army could react to the development when Vanguard sought their reactions on Thursday.

The acting Director of Defence Information, Brig. Onyema Nwachukwu, while responding to Vanguard’s inquiry on the veracity or otherwise of the report, referred the matter to the Nigerian Army, saying it was the army’s place to react.

But several calls made to the known mobile phone line of the acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa, were not answered.
A follow-up text message sent to the number was yet to be responded to at the time of filing this report.

The ISWAP fighters were reported to have executed 11 captives in its den on Christmas Day.

Ahmad Salkida, a conflict journalist renowned for his monitoring of terrorist activities in Nigeria’s northeast, had said the captives were executed on Christmas Day.

According to Salkida, who disclosed this in his website @ salkida.com, said ISWAP claimed the captives were executed “as a revenge for the killings of our leaders, including Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Abul-Hasan Al-Muhajir in Iraq and Syria.”

“But conflict journalists and researchers, including Jacob Zenn, said ‘it is possible ISIS ordered ISWAP to kill them’ as it had intervened in other hostage situations,” he said.

Celebrities / Nigerians React As Davido Refuses To Rock Meghan Stallion’s Backside (VIDEO) by chibaby1985(f): 4:00pm On Dec 26, 2019
Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido has won the hearts of his fans on social media all over, after an unexpected course of action he took while he was performing at a music concert in Lagos.

The singer had mounted the stage alongside American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was in Nigeria for a concert, and refused to give many what they had been expecting.

Megan had turned her backside towards the father of three, and in usual entertainer style, many expected Davido to grind against the female rapper’s backside. He, however, turned away from her and continued to thrill the audience.

Reacting, many hilariously suggested that the Blow My Mind crooner knew better than to disrespect his fiancé Chioma. According to them, the fear of his first son’s mother is the beginning of wisdom for him.

Religion / I Foresee Earthquake, Landslide And Earth Tremor In Nigeria - Primate Elijah by chibaby1985(f): 2:16pm On Dec 26, 2019
Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has released prophecies for year 2020.

Ayodele made the revelations public during Christmas at his annual fest gathering.

The cleric gave prophecies on Nigeria, prominent citizens including President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, government agencies, the international community, among others.

Excerpts below:

“NIGERIA: Nigeria in the Diaspora will witness more troubles. I foresee incessant killings in the country as rioting will be on the increase. Nigeria 2020 needs to pray so well because I foresee so many things happening in the country. The country will face serious economy challenges.

I foresee that Budget 2020 will not drive the need of the people. The country needs prayers for guidance and God’s divine protection. Government should look for ways of working things out.

Let us pray against unexpected bomb explosion in Nigeria.

Let us pray against the death of a professor, a judge, a onetime civilian governor, a military officer, a minister and a business tycoon.

Let us pray against the death of a prominent banker.

The government should take steps to tackle the level of crime. The prices of gas will increase as there will be new electric stove.

“There will be issues and clashes between Yoruba and Hausa, Igbo and Hausa.

I foresee deportation of Nigerians in some countries and some Nigerians will be deported within Nigeria. Government will caution people that try to criticize their policy.

People will not be able to express their desire.

Democracy will cause a lot of problems and will break Nigeria. I foresee future referendum coming. A lot of things will happen in Nigeria. I foresee protest and counter protest against the government. Let the country pray against confusion. Nigeria will face a lot of challenges as they will embark on certain steps to normalize and checkmate its security challenges.

“Despite all this, there will still be security challenges in major parts of the country.

Let’s pray for God to protect
Federal Ministries that their office will not be involved in any fire incident.

The following states: Enugu, Kogi, Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti should be careful of erosion and flood and some parts of the north that have not experienced it before.

There will be too much population in the country. Nigeria is still sitting on a time bomb that may explode. The country should pray for peace and unity in the nation. I foresee a new flag in the world i.e. another country will emerge.

Some country will come out of another country.

“Let us pray to rebuke the death of a present and former Minister, former governor, and Former president in Nigeria.

The government of President Buhari will expose some former governors who are corrupt.

The government will make lots of efforts to move the country. APC will rise up against the government. Some government agencies will be scrapped due to internal inefficiencies. Lagos (EKO) Electric Distribution Company will face problems and also in Rivers, Kwara, Edo, Ebonyi, Kano and Cross Rivers.

I foresee that the 2023 election will pose serious tension as the Northern part will want to continue to be in power at all cost. They will do so many things so as to ensure they remain in power. The Yoruba clamouring to become the next president of the country should seek the face of God before they embark on any journey

“The Igbo will not be recognized in 2023. The 2023 election will be so tough and challenging. The geo-political zones who have sold their right are still going to regret it because anybody that talks will be arrested or oppose what the government are doing will face so many threats. I foresee some people will oppose the decision of the government.

The Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) should be committed into prayers and they will introduce a new tax system into the country.

Let us pray against calamity in the country.

There will be environmental pollution. Stock Exchange will experience changes in its leadership position. Some company license will be seized.

Let us pray against troubles in our security system.

Baby factories will be detected. The government will embark on new methods of sanctifying the state in order to make it free and cool the security of the country. Pensioners will demonstrate. Some state will not be able to pay their pensioners. Pensioners will go on strike.

Fraud will be detected in the Pension Board. Ghost workers will be detected by the Federal government.

“Let us watch against unexpected explosion and killings in Abuja. Herdsmen will come in various dimensions. Some state will work on cattle rearers which will not work as expected.

There will be attack on herdsmen. The president must pray to rebuke troubles. Nigeria will be concerned about the security challenges confronting the country. Nigeria will make security dominant in the country. Let us pray so that curfew will not be declared in some states and local government and let’s rebuke cases of emergencies in any of the sectors in the country.

I foresee the Villa being changed from its present location in the nearest future. I also foresee a new Presidential Villa being built.

“Let us pray to rebuke death and cases of fire in the Villa. Let us also be careful and watchful because of so many things that will be happening in the villa. Let us pray against attack and threat on the Villa. Let’s pray so that none of the presidential convoy will be attacked.

The government should be vigilant. President Buhari should take a rest in the month of April, May, August and September 2020 and he should watch his policies. I foresee drama in the Villa.

Let us pray for our governments so that none of them will be attacked. Some Ministers will be queried by the President. Some of the hidden agendas of the Ministers will be exposed.
Apart from this, Nigeria will experience what they have not being experiencing before. I foresee earthquake, landslide and earth tremor in Nigeria.

“Farmers will be assisted and encouraged by borrowing them money but the money will not be accounted for. Government will distribute fertilizers to the farmers so as to enhance their farm crops and fake fertilizers will be given also. I foresee the South-West will start producing food.

“Let us pray to rebuke attack in some neighbouring countries. Government will raise tax on tricycle riders in Lagos. The license method of C of O will be changed.

Tinubu will be betrayed. Osinbajo and Buhari will have problems as there will be moves to remove him from office even as I foresee the cabals working against Tinubu’s plan and they will be threat to question Tinubu.

Osinbajo must be prayerful because he will face counter challenges before the end of his tenure. Malabo oil scam will still rise. Some present and past politicians will be accused. The country needs lots of prayers as the Lord has blessed the country so much.

Politics / Kano Govt Bans Opposite Sexes From Plying Same Tricycles – Official by chibaby1985(f): 10:43am On Dec 26, 2019
The Kano State Government has banned persons of opposite genders from plying same commercial tricycles across the state from January, 2020, an official has announced.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje revealed this on Wednesday at the closing ceremony of 77th annual Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) organised by Zone A of Muslim Society of Nigeria (MSSN) held at Bayero University, Kano.

Mr Ganduje, who was represented by Commander General of Hisbah Board, Harun Ibn-Sina, said the state government is committed towards upholding Islamic values.

Commercial tricycles, popularly known as ‘A daidaita sahu’ in Kano, were introduced by a former governor of Kano, Ibrahim Shekarau, as a means of transportation for women only.

This was after Mr Shekarau’s government banned commercial motorcyclists from conveying women.

Since Mr Shekarau’s exit as governor, however, tricycles have been allowed to carry people of both sexes, a move the state government has now said will be changed.

Meanwhile, Governor Ganduje at the event charged participants to face their studies and shun drug abuse.

megawealth01:
The Presidency wishes to clarify the release on bail, of the Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress in the February 2019 elections, Omoyele Sowore.

Some international news outlets have mistakenly been describing his release as that of a journalist.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Buhari administration has never, since coming into office in 2015, detained a journalist, seized copies of newspapers or shut down a medium of information.

Sowore called for a revolution to overthrow the democratically elected government of Nigeria. He did so on television, and from a privileged position as the owner of a widely read digital newspaper run from the United States of America.

He founded an organisation, Revolution Now, to launch, in their own words, “Days of Rage”, with the publicised purpose of fomenting mass civil unrest and the elected administration’s overthrow. No government will allow anybody to openly call for destabilization in the country and do nothing.

The government believes strictly in observing the rule of law but must safeguard public security and will not allow trouble makers to incite the public and cause a breakdown of law and order.

Business / Re: Consumer Agency Stops N50 Charge On Pos Transactions by chibaby1985(f): 2:05am On Dec 25, 2019
godlyguy:
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission on Tuesday stopped the additional N50 charge currently imposed on transactions conducted through Point of Sales Terminal.

The FCCPC issued the directive in a statement signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Babatunde Irukera, and made available to journalists in Abuja.

In recent times, there has been significant contention with respect to merchant imposed N50 stamp duty assessments on consumers for PoS transactions.

The fee, which is said to have emanated from the Central Bank of Nigeria, was meant to be for consumers who select PoS option to conclude their purchases or transactions.

Supermarkets, eateries, filling stations, and other businesses across the country have had to charge their customers an additional N50 on every PoS transaction.

Irukera in the statement described the charge as counterproductive as it negated the effort of the apex bank to promote a cashless economy.

He said the merchants’ response of imposing this assessment on consumers was not only inconsistent with the cashless policy, but also counterproductive and burdensome on consumers.

He said before the decision was arrived at, the commission had robustly engaged the CBN on the issue, pursuant to S.17 (b), (f), (g), (i) of the FCCPA Act.

The FCCPC boss added that meetings of the highest levels of leadership of both the CBN and FCCPC were held on the issue.

Irukera said the FCCPC’s strongly held position was that an assessment imposed on merchants necessarily was a component of their costs of doing business.

This, according to him, may only be directly passed on to consumer in limited circumstances.

He said, “Businesses, by their very nature, already capture the operating cost price of their goods and services

Politics / You Cannot Kill Corruption Where Disorder Exists –ashimolowo by chibaby1985(f): 4:20pm On Dec 24, 2019
President of Kingsway International Christian Centre Global, Matthew Ashimolowo, has said that corruption can only be reduced if there is order and a system that kills the act.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Newsnight programme, Ashimolowo stated that President Muhammadu Buhari needs subordinates that can pilot the affairs.

He said, “The President, in my own opinion, he is just like every good leader should be; must have a helicopter view of what he wants. But the microcosms should be dealt with by the subordinates under him.

“If the President says he wants a government that kills corruption, then the people around him should now come up with the systems that make corruption difficult.

“We need those who will take the vision of the President and turn it to systems so that even if you wanted to do it, you were not allowed.”

He added that despite the fact that corruption cannot be killed, it can be reduced through a system that is captured at the lower level.

Ashimolowo stated, “Wherever there is disorder, you cannot kill corruption. For you to kill corruption, you must create order and people who like corruption, hate your order.

“Corruption can be stopped, maybe not 100 per cent.”

Crime / Re: Don't Ever Borrow Anyone Your Account Number To Receive Money - Police by chibaby1985(f): 9:05am On Dec 24, 2019

Popular Nigerian Police Officer, Dolapo Badmus

Police PRO Dolapo Badmus has taken to social media to advise Nigerians against allowing friends use their account to receive money.

According to Badmus, fraudulent money could be transferred to their account, causing them to be implicated in a crime.

In her words;

“Don’t ever “borrow” anyone your account number to receive money, your account should be for your own usage..someone is in custody for borrowing a “friend” his account, he never knew the money they are transferring through him is fraudulent.Ignorance isn’t an excuse before the law.

A member spotted.

Technology brought television into existence

Technology brought loud speakers into existence

Technology brought radio into existence even phones too

Technology made it easy to transfer money through E-banking

Technology made it possible for you to transport yourself, there you can go anywhere

Technology also brought airplanes into existence. Some G.O 's have two, some three, others five and above....

If we should stop watching Television, then we should stop using anything that has technology.

More so, God gave man wisdom to make things/materials out from technology.

You are free to defend, but know that the truth can never be hidden.

" He who doesn't do the will of the father will not enter into his kingdom"

Be pure in heart, do his will, obey his commands, you can even watch TV, as long as you are good, hell will never ask for you.
We have gone beyond the watching of TV tales... Pastor said purity within is the watch word
