- *Try To Avoid Disqualification*

Avoiding disqualification is one of the surest steps to get Unilag postgraduate admission.

Disqualification can come in the form of ineligibility of the course applied for which is why i give mentioning the importance of ensuring you are eligible for your proposed course before applying. Another thing that can cause your disqualification is if you are caught cheating during the entrance exam, remember the exam is online and can be done from the comfort of your home, there will be invigilators which will be online monitoring your movement, some applicants try to play smart. Please ensure you keep to the rules and modalities given by Unilag during the online exam.

You cannot do master in Banking and finance or MSc finance because you are not eligible. but you can do Master of Business administration and major in finance.

For Mphil/PHD applicants, I will advise you visit the department. The department will outline the steps involved which includes choosing of a supervisor and other modalities

ASUU strikes affect Unilag..

Fulltime classes are majorly held weekdays from 9am.

Part time classes are held weekend and at times weekdays from 6PM

the entrance exam will be scheduled third week in August you will be sent an email for your exact date. you can also get it in your exam pass on your dashborad. the exam pass has not been updated on your dashboard. I will throw more light on the exam pass as we draw closer to the exam.

Like you all know, the entrance exam is online, you will have just 40mins to attempt the questions, it is a multiple choice questions, pls prepare adequately.

the form is still on sale and ending third week in August, if you are yet to apply, no point waiting for the deadline kindly do your application.

For the benefit of those that just joined the group.

1. Before you apply for any course ensure you are eligible for it, you can always chat me up to help you check. Dont apply for any course based on assumptions.


2. The sale of form has started and will end in August 22nd.

3. If you have original certificate you dont need transcripts.

4. If you are applying with statement of results you need transcripts. But I always advice my students not to submit their transcripts at the application stage, wait until you are admitted before you forward your transcripts to avoid waste of money.

5. You dont need reference letter.

6. Application is done 100% online, consequently you dont need to submit anything to the dept.

7. Entrance exam will be conducted for all depts. You are excepted to meet the cut off mark for each dept to get the admission.

8. Unilag postgraduate admission is 98% by merit.

Unilag postgraduate studies is one of the fastest you have among public universities in Nigeria, all things being equal. I did my postgraduate there and I can tell you for free. So you have not made any wrong choice choosing Unilag.

What matters now is to ensure you are admitted. Preparation remains the 🔑.

Form still closes in August, if you have not registered I don't know what you are waiting for, decide on the course you want to do, check your eligibility for the course, confirm the fees associated and pick the form ASAP.
