For F$#@k Sake man.....Morata has probably handed Juve the trophy. Gutted! |
I have been bitting my fingers all day. Don't think my nerves can take this any longer |
Don't know about AI being the greatest ever little man. Zeke in my book was the greatest little man. |
afrodoc2:Fully agree with you hence why I disagree with A40's assesment of the fight. Let's not beat around the bush here, Triple G is yet to fight anyone noteworthy. And If Martin Murray(hardly a household name) can take him to 11 rounds , then i'm sure Alvarez can last the distance. |
Nihilist: ![]() Definitely not lagos. More like you are back in the carribean. Lived in the North pretty much most of my life(from Barnet to Tottenham to Camden to Enfield. From Islington to Muswell Hill. I've been there one time or another). Tried living in the south and the east but it just wasn't me. Felt a bit like an outsider . Hahahaha Bros ke?.... Don't let the yardies here that o. |
Nihilist:Comot there!..... They are pretty much my local team you know. I've been to white hart lane more times than most Guys have had one night stands. |
A40:Nah there is no beating to a pulp here. They'll both stand in the centre of the ring and trade punches. Triple G will emerge victorious though because He has a much better Chin |
afrodoc2:100% agree. Im not sure but I think I mentioned in one of my posts here. People forget He had to step up 2 weight division to face Canelo. Also let's not forget that Canelo hydrates pretty quickly in between weight ins and fight nights. However As u said, It was stup$#d of Him to fight not only a man Bigger than Him but also one considered to be a Heavy puncher. Triple G will box Alvarez before Ward. That I am certain of .There is a huge clamour for that plus it'll be both fighters biggest pay day. If you listened to Canelo's interview straight after the bout, He pretty much said He was ready or in his own words "We don't f@#$k around here" ![]() |
olabode89:I think the hype was justified at the beginning. Followed Amir's career since his amateur days and you could tell He was something special even as far back as 02-03. His performances at the summer olympics at Athens was nothing short of special(@17 most of us were busing chasing anything in Skirt). And to be fair to the Media, with each lose, the hype around Amir seems to dwindle |
Nihilist:I think you are being unnecessarily harsh on Amir. Most Boxers run their mouth. Infact it's the name of the sport. The more you run your mouth, the more publicity you get. People then hate on you and are willing to the pay per view figures just to watch you get knocked out(more money in the bank for you). From Ali to Sugar Ray . From Roy Jones to the dark destroyer himself. They all did it. Rather unfortunately for Amir, His Mouth is far stronger than His chin. |
Roland17:Shame He never really did for the Azzuris. Great player all the same |
fredoooooo:Ehnnn so you are on "ori oke" abi?... How comes i no fit see u then? Me sef dey ontop mountain sinai o. Oh boy summer don come o. I just dey ontop mountain dey scope babes .You and who? ..We the fans of the foxes know ourselves so no dey claim abeg. You fit go support useless club like Muki sha.Loool na so. Nah d name we dey call am for beer parlour be dat ![]() Make dem dey come abeg. We need that chinese/Arab money. |
mukina2:The devil really does make work for the idle ones. Mukinatusindodo mukina2:Grandma when will your useless team ever win the league title again? ......Na u put am for jail?..Ngbo fredoooo dem talk say OPC don lock u up o ![]() |
Nihilist:Nah the Tag team of A40 and Dayo vs Airmark and Pataki I dey enjoy pass ![]() |
Nihilist:Nah I still think He is a pretty good boxer. He simply just has a glass jaw that's all. All the more reason I think He should concentrate on his defense more than his offfence. I have to commend His bravery though. Moving up two divisions to face one of that's division's heavy puncher is not to be sniffed at. The fight I can't wait for is Triple G vs Canelo. Should be a cracker |
Nihillist Did you watch the Amir Khan fight? Even though I knew He would loose, I still had high hopes for him. Shame though as I Was really rooting for him. And tbh He was doing really well til He go Ko'd. He was up 4-1 I think. Also to all those naysayers saying Prettyboy should have given Canelo another shot, I say Fall back. Floyd would have fought the same way Khan did this morning with the only difference being He would had him sussed out by round 5-6. |

MAHREEZZZZZZ!..... |
bykebyke:Yup they won it in 08... And Yup they were definitely not one of the elites. |
bykebyke:This is complete rubbish. Spain were one of the favourites(joint Favourites with Brazil with a few and outright favourites with others)to win the worldcup based on their exploits in 2008. Now If you had said very few gave them a chance going into Euro 2008, then you would have had a point. Again I don't know what bookmaker you use but Spain were marginal favourites with EVERY bookie vs Germany in 2010. Infact many chuckled at the prediction of octopus paul. The last paragraph though is spot on. They were not Worldcup elites before 2010 |
mukina2:Mukinatu sindodo when will your team win the Premier League Title again?.... Ordinary Leceister don win am. Shame no dey catch una ni?. I'm sure Fredooooo jnr go win am before una win am again ![]() |
homesteady:What a load of tosh!.....Utter Garbage! Rooting For Atletico all the same |
Eruditor:£100 says Pep will stay the same. That's His major shortcoming as a coach(Ironically also His strength). Unwillingness to accept change. Take last night for example. After barely scrapping through against Juve, one would have thought Pep would have learnt His lessons that a high defensive line simply does not work. Not even if You had a centre back pairing of Baresi and Kohler. But nah He persisted. With a bit more defensive stability, Bayern would have gone through over the two legs. Still Massive Massive Fan of Pep though . He needs to learn that you don't have to go gung-ho ALL THE TIME |
pamcode:Gaining Promotion from Serie B to A might be deemed as success to many a club. Fiorentina is however not one of those clubs. I agree with you though, Claudio was certainly not a flop. He certainly wasn't a success either. Average as I said earlier. |
lekkie073:What matters to you and the actual reality are two different things. Yorky and Neville in 1999 were DEFINITELY not average. |
pamcode:No one Italy views Claudio's time there as a success. He was at best Average. Just because wikipedia says His time in Italy was a success does not mean it was. |
A40:Nothing... Nada. They let both Greizman and Torres have a free run to goal. Reminiscent of the way Stockton and Malone used to terrorize NBA defences back in the day. Pep should take a bit of the blame though. High Defensive lines simply do not work. Especially not against a team set up to counter attack like Atletico. Still a Great Coach though. Just a stubborn one. |
Ibime:The same way Terry threw away the 2008 CL Finals and almost made sure his team failed to qualify for the 2012 finals. |
raumdeuter:I am o. Na to renew my season ticket remain |
Nihilist:Found mine under a pile of clothes last night. Wearing it to work tommorrow. Championne Championne Ole Ole Ole |
