England Lucky?...I think you must have watched a different game because I can hardly remember the French creating any meaningful oppertunity.
The French was not shyte. England simply denied them the time and space needed to shine.
Abeg which Poldoski?....If Ribery can be effeciently dealt with I doubt Poldoski would give the likes of Glen any sleepless nights.

were dire. they only defended well, offensively,
they were very hopeless. welbeck and young were fed
with scraps.

They did need to be creative vs France. They were there to do a job and they did it well.
The Likes of Young,Oxlade Chamberlain and Rooney(when he gets back) would provide it for England over the duration of the Tournament.

park...that england made little chances was because the central midfield
did nothing. milner's crosses were also dire.

Parker and Gerrard actually play well considering they were outnumbered at the centre of the park for most of the game.
Parker and Gerrard were tiggerish....The chased and hassled and were one of the reasons why the French hardly created any clear cut opportunities.
Gerrard even sprayed three or so quality balls too(copped an assist too). I think the centre Mid did the job Hodgson asked of them.

bbc nominated him as the man of the match and young did very well.
the best pass of the game was supplied by young and james milner
bumbled it....welbeck made movements, he defended from the front
and his general link-up play was class!

A.Young for had a subpar game today by his standards. I'm 100% certain this would be his worst of the tournament.
May be I was a bit harsh on Wellbeck(was expecting too much perharps) but definitely not Young.

I said they would go a long way if they can maintain their current solidity and discipline.

And yes they do stand a chance of winning it. So far so good from what I have seen,England have nothing to fear
