They are a good team but I expected more from the so called Favourites like Brazil,Argentina, Germany et al. Only Spain and France have been decent thus far.

I think this is the World Cup where SouthGate’s pragmatism may actually pay off. Match day 2 with only 2 teams eliminated and only France qualifying for the next round so far tells you the whole approach of everybody. Can’t afford slip ups

We definitely haven't but everyone calls England overrated so the onus is on the so called favs to show us why they are just that.

What are you faulting Southgate for?

He is a bit pragmatic. He has done a wonderful job but I just feel there is something lacking.

Southgate is going to cost us the chance of doing something major in this tournament. None of these supposed tournament favourites have looked a cut above England as everyone was hyping them up to be.

Brazil are looking very pedestrian and ordinary. Argentina haven't impressed, Spain and France have been decent but not amazing, Germany ok. These favourites are there for the taking man.
