The sales girls and cashiers that collect peanut as salaries are made to pay for this. I know someone who went to work in order to pay for WAEC,she wasn't paid a penny for 4 months because of missing items, in the long run she didn't register for the exam.
If the money is much more than their salaries, they are being locked up in the Police Stations until their families pay up, just because of successful thieves. Some even tortured and die in the long run.

That's not true sir.... Not when they is CCTV to prove their innocence. They only pay and face the consequences when they are caught.

Many people thinks CCTV cameras don't work and many others feels they are not been watched or monitored... I remembered my days in a supermarket as an internal security.... Once there is a theft that we missed why watching others who are suspects. The lucky successful thieves will be on the radar without them knowing... Simply because they succeeded the other time they will be back sometimes it takes months and years.... But Trust me they always do come back.

I parked somewhere on Bourdillon road Ikoyi to pee. I was halfway done when I looked back and I saw them with their towing van positioned in a way that I can’t fight it. Either I let them drive it or tow it. I beg to have it driven so I don’t pay for towing. After so much of going back and forth they agreed to take 10k.

I was alone in the car with the lastma guy that drove and I kept begging him 3k later increased to 5k, he didn’t accept when we got to their office at Sura, he said if I don’t do ‘normal’ he will drive the car into their compound then I can beg his superior with the 5k. I know better not to allow him drive into their compound.
