Apart from himself and his wife, no one else believed he could recapture the title, which he had won before. But with time, especially in the eight month, after a continuous exercise, he was able to shed much fat and finally got down to his fighting weight – 229 pounds. The rest was a testimony. Just as Foreman controlled himself, our text revealed the restriction, which God placed before the Israelites. For the first three years, they should not eat the fruits of their farm and on the fourth year, when the fruit had become holy, they should offer it to praise Him. Then, from the fifth year, they should start eating the fruits. For the greedy ones among them, this might prove an uphill task. They might start eating the fruit from the first year, thus disregarding God’s instruction, which, unfortunately, might attract God’s wrath upon their lives. Sometimes, God can give such a holdup directive concerning His will and it may be to teach us self-control or how to be patient. Unfortunately, some impatient and disobedient believers may not appreciate this waiting period. Our text equally stressed God’s warning against all forms of ungodly practices, particularly magic, charm, horoscopy, shaving because of the dead and tattoo, among others. If you are involved or giving approval to these evil practices, you had better repent.

Many people have been possess by the devil to live out his works and deeds
His mission is to subvert and subdue many who are careless to himself. The scripture said the devil is like a roaring lion looking who to devour.
What are the fruits of unrighteousness? The book of Romans 1: 29 -31 clearing listed them as follows:
Fornication,
Wickedness,
Covetousness,
Maliciousness,
Full of envy,
Murder,
Debate,
Deceit,
Malignity,
Whisperers,
Backbiters,
Haters of God,
Despiteful,
Proud,
Boaster,
Inventors of evil things,
Disobedient to parents,
Without understanding,
Covenant breakers without natural affections,
Implacable,
Unmerciful.

Devil has used these to bring many to bondage. You are possess by the devil when you yield to do any of these mentioned above. When you are born-again, you cannot be possessed by the devil. The devil does to oppress them since he cannot possess them. Don’t be filled the fruit of unrighteousness, instead be filled with the Spirit of righteousness which are love, joy peace, long suffering , gentleness, faith, meekness, temperance – Galatians 5: 22- 23. Be wise dear.

If you are filled with the spirit of unrighteousness, then you need to visit the Calvary where Jesus was bled and died. You need HIM into your life. Remember, you can not serve two masters Matthew 6:24. Whom will you serve, God or Satan? The choice is yours to make. But, I will advice you to choose to serve God, he alone have the key to your life, future and progress. He is thinking God for you;

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jeremiah 11:29.

The programme of God for man cannot be overemphasized; he has shown this to us by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us;
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John3:16.

Your life shows whom you follow and worship. Follow Christ and resist the devil in your life and he (devil) will flee from you. Never give him a place in your life. “Abstain from all appearance of evil” 1 Thessalonians 5:22. Things that constitute his appearance have being listed in Romans 1: 29-31, you cannot live with any of those and expect to be ruptured.
You can not go far in life when those elements are in you, Jesus has paid the price for your freedom and eternal life.

Come to Jesus right now and you will be happy you did.

The hope of every believe should transcend earthly gains
and materialism, which seem to be the focus of many modern-day gospel preachers. Inspired by the Holy Spirit. Paul the Apostle wrote:”If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” 1Corinthians 15:19.
This should prompt us to make heaven our primary goal at all times.
Heaven is the abode of the Almighty God, the city of the angels and of the saints. The glory of heaven is unfathomable and its beauty is beyond comparison. Thus, there must be adequate preparation in order to get there.
There must be separation from sin, worldly allurement and all appearances of evil. There must be daily victorious Christian living, watchfulness and endurance to be able to make it to the glorious abode, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” Matthew 24:13.

A group of aint isht scumbags have left the 5-year-old daughter of a former Venezuelan beauty queen without both parents after they murdered the woman and her husband during an attempted robbery before shooting the child in the leg.

Tragic news today out of Venezuela: Monica Spear, a 29-year old wife, mother and former Miss Venezuela, was killed in an attempted robbery last night. According to local police, via Globovision, the ex-beauty pageant winner was in the car with her husband and daughter when their vehicle crashed. Assailants then approached the family and murdered both Spear and her husband, Thomas Henry Berry; their five-year old girl was left with a bullet wound in her leg. The trio had been on vacation and were traveling in a Toyota Corolla toward the city of Valenica when the horrible incident took place. Spear won the crown of Miss Venezuela in 2004 and took part in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand. She had appeared in a number of Venezuelan and Telemundo soap operas since then..

Wow. Hopefully they catch the lowlifes that did this!

I saw the Sahara Reporters news yesterday but decided to leave it alone until the Minister responds to the allegations. And she has, by erasing her educational references online after SR's report hit the net.

According to the report by Sahara Reporters, Aviation Minister Stella Odua's Master's degree which she claimed to have obtained from St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia, US and presented to the Senate in 2011 as a ministerial nominee, is fake, because the school does not offer graduate programs.

Sahara Reporters learned from the President of the college that it has never in its 125-year history had a graduate school or graduate program. The Provost Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the Vice President of Institutional Development said “We don’t offer any graduate programs here.”

Premium Times went digging and it looks like the allegation is true because by 4pm today, her profile page on Facebook was edited and all traces of St. Paul’s College was removed from the account. It was also removed from her Wikipedia page and her biography on the Ministry of Aviation website.

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, called on Nigerians to put all hands on deck in other to liberate the country from those he tagged, ‘evil people’.
The president also said his administration would not relent on its oars until the battle against the Boko Haram sect is won.
Jonathan stated this during the first Sunday church service of the year at the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) Abuja.

He said no person or group will be allowed to hold the nation to ransom, noting that it must be liberated from “evil persons” and be secured for the generations unborn.
His words, “Nobody or group can hold this country to ransom. We will collectively liberate this country from any evil person, so that we can leave behind a
Nigeria that our children and grandchildren will be proud of”, he said.
On the Boko Haram insurgency, President Jonathan said that “Boko Haram was temporary, and will surely disappear from the nation. A number of countries are facing similar challenges and some have been able to overcome it, and surely we will overcome Boko Haram. Life in the North must change; development must go to all parts of this country”.

“Let me reassure you again, that the political environment is always noisy all over the world, yet will overcome. There is nowhere you won’t hear so much noise. Even the United States of America. Not long ago, the country was almost shutdown. For so many months, people were worried that the country that has practised democracy for so many years could get to that situation. But that is politics for you.
“But let me reassure you that we will continue to work harder to improve the quality of lives of Nigerians. We are particularly committed to knowing where our challenges are, especially in some parts of the North. We are quite pleased with the measures from the outgoing President (of COCIN) and the measures of the incoming President concerning Boko Haram. We sympathize with those who have been affected by the executions,” he added.
