advice is be available to care for them now, if not severe, but if d infection is already severe, you come to see them all with d same issue on monday. what you need to do now is minimise it to d bearest minimum. keep good & clean water, disinfect yr tanks( don't use izal or dettol oooh), salt solution or malachite green will do, change water more often, reduce feeding. tetracyline could assist. Next time, learn to inculcate good water mgt . It can be fatal in extreme cases

Hello...please I noticed some white things on the head of my fish. I have isolated 4 of them. I will sort on monday and isolate any more with the white things also. Hope it's safe to wait till monday. Please does anyone know what the white thing is and what to do about it. Please advise me. Thanks!

If you can afford it you can as well fill 9inch block but putting tiles in pond that will be filled with fish slime is like trying to dig one's grave may God forbid. If the floor is well concrete and plastered with all the edges cemented there will be no leakages

To know the stocking density do a calculation to get the volume of the tank. For a 10x6x4ft the volume will be 6.912. So if you can stock 90 fishes per square meter it will be 90*6.192=557fishes. So it also depends on the type of system you are doing. I will suggest you use 15ft length 6ft Width and 4ft depth to achieve 1000 fishes. As for the construction let the professionals handle that. I'm also looking so someone to construct for me in Portharcourt.

To construct concrete pond, you can design your pond and as well supervise the construction if the builder is not vast in such construction

It is better to use 9 inch block but you can still use 6 inch block but the hollow need to be filled with concrete

You can erect supporting pillars to ensure the firmness of the pond

Ingredients for the base:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Add the vanilla and cream to a bowl and whip till you form stiff peaks.

Ingredients for the custard:
1 ½ cups evaporated milk
2 large eggs + 1 yolk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ingredients for the caramel:
½ cup sugar
3 tablespoons water

Directions:
Combine half cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water in a pan and heat. Do not stir the mixture. Hold the pan by the handle and swirl gently till you get an amber color.

Divide the caramel evenly between 6 silicone cups and set aside while you make the custard. You can use 4 ramekins if you have those...or foils cups. (If you're using silicone cups (like me), have them in the pan they'll be baking in before you fill them. It'll be easier to transport into the oven).
