I need someone to transport a newly cleared car from Tin can poet from Lagos to Enugu. The car is not yet registered.

I just went through this thread and I can see a lot of things wrong with Nigeria.

Some people don't even know how many hours it takes from Lagos to Abuja and they want a driver to take 40k or less. Somebody even said 10k like the person is driving to Shagamu.

If you don't know the risk the driver is taken, you won't open your mouth and be blabbing rubbish.

Somebody even said transport back to Lagos is 6k. Please tell me which transport company is operating in this lockdown period that will collect 6k from Abuja to Lagos. The driver may have to take as many as five different trips to get back to Lagos because public transports are not allowed to cross state borders this period. He may even have yo enter trailers if he wants direct vehicle to Lagos.

Last November, I drove a toks 2010 Camry from lagos to Eket and the only reason I accepted 30k was because the owner agreed to come with me and settle police and customs along the toad by herself. By the time we got to Eket, she had spent over 30k settling those guys not to talk of food and extra fuel.

So OP as someone advised, leave the car in Lagos till the lockdown period is over if you don't want to spend unnecessarily

But will you be able yo transport a car from Lagos to East without plate number. Foreign used but not yet registered?

It takes about 3 working days to get a lagos plate. Contact pattybf. Search for the name on nairaland.
Without plates, you will be cannon fodder for the npf. With plates, you only have to worry about customs.
Make sure the details in the reg are correct and complete especially chassis number, engine number, colour etc.
Make copies of the papers. Do not ever hand over the originals to anybody, never.
Get your safety kits too such as your fire extinguisher, caution sign (2), spare tyre, wheel spanner and jack, first aid kit, spare fan belt, hydraulic, transmission oil, water (one liter of each should suffice). Make sure you have a genuine drivers licence too (never hand over original to anybody).

the 2gr-fe you see in an ES350, RX350 is same used in Highlander, Camry, avalon, venza, the same applies to the IMZ and 3MZ engines etc. Lexus recommends premium fuel due to ECU which is tuned to accept premium fuel. That said, using a regular unleaded fuel wont harm the car, however, the ecu will adjust the timing to accept the regular fuel and this will rob the driver of a few horsepower which is barely noticeable in everyday driving.

I just got an RX350 2010 and noticed that premuim fuel is required. Please do I need anything to be afraid of?

P0420 catalytic converter below threshold Bank 1 indicates your car has a Bank 2 also. This means your scanner sees the car as a V6. Except you run a live scan, we won't know the full reasons for the bad fuel economy.

Pls, how much fuel do you put in your car and how far does the car travel when this fuel is pumped into the car. Which state are you mostly driving in?

My car is 4 plug, camry 2012. I drive only in Enugu, fuel is being sold at 930 per liter here. 20k fuel gives me 64 miles. Please, how is the love scanning done, so I look for where to do it here on Enugu

Have the catalytic converter manifold removed and catalytic converter inspected for blockage or crack on both sides. (Your car is a V6).

You also may wish to change your purge valve for the evap system. It's located just by your intake pipe before the air filter box.

But I'd really love to see a live scan via video and also to know the state of your spark plugs and fuel injectors, fuel pump and air filter to know what actually is happening.

Don't put paint thinner into your car tank. It will degrade the rubber seals and other components and cause issues later on. It can mess up your oxygen sensors and also piston crowns and lead to expensive engine damage.

Replace the valve body first, sometimes it's the debris from old gear oil usage that just blocked the valve body. Ive replaced valve body on my gears and gear worked perfectly fine.

But please do I need to rewash the old filter and reuse it or get a new filter. Someone is telling me that I can't get any filter that would serve me as the original filter. Sincerely I don't understand the type of mechanics we have in this part of the east. They lack competence
