You can make it 200BN, why not maximize, instead of wastting our hopes on crude or look for diversificatuon

Lets increase VAT, TAX nd levies then ...why settle for 800Bn from VAT when we can do 50% VAT .. make trilloons .. who says we cant tax ourselves to prosperity

Mind you, it's very very very hard to defend incompetence. But if such question was posed to me - when my job is to communicate the goals and policies of my employer - from the top of my head:

"Now, we must understand that insecurity is not a brick and mortar institution that can be demolished in one day. The Nigerian state is fighting against the people who are threatening the peace and future of the good people of Nigeria. And we as government are all hands on deck, implementing strategies to ensure the root cause is targeted and cut off from the root.

We are partnering with the global intelligence community to ensure that this menace of insecurity is resolved.

So I appeal to the. Nigerian people. Nigeria is our fatherland, and we must stand strong in faith and trust in the President and his cabinet as we wage this fight against evil. And indeed we will succeed
."

But the guy is collecting salary for just being plain steww pieieieid.
Good, let me clap for you

So you think ALL you said We havent heard those beautiful speech under GEJ, Buhari and even from Mrn like sunday Dare under Tinubu

is it about beautiful composition at this stage, dis matter don pass 10yrs .. Bwala is going from Tv to Tv statiom to claim insecurity as being defeated whereas in Kwara report says most communities are empty,, every week their is a kidnap reported or inreported ... You think the best way to wave that off is beautiful articulated speech .. goal that as taken 4yrs nd we are worst off

The other day Onanuga wrnt to Arisetv and said, He can't see poverty among Nigerians
Bwala dtives around with escort Buh he is tell you tp Nigeria is safe, travel anywhere by road Buh they are booking flights to avoid the dangers of the road

As a Nigerian Forget what Anyone is saying, Can you drive long travel to kogi or kwara or Benue or jos or katsina nd not have jesus in your mouth through the drive ... yes or No is your Truth.

I explained what is called delayed gratification

Peter obi left about $350 billion dollars as saving if Willy Obiano did same that’s $700 million dollars say soludo did same that would be $875 million dollars in savings

Say the that money was used to subscribe Nigeria Euro bond at 6.5% yearly that’s $56 million dollars yearly that’s almost 80 billion in sustained guaranteed revenue
Now this 80 billion is what
here is where i stand to differ, Yes ! is gud, saving & investment is muah Buh not at the expense/detriment of generating infrastractures

you ask us to imagine if Gov. obiano had carried on Peter obi mode of " savings" and soludo did same as well ... uncle that would have amounted to infrastructure deficit and a total of 16yrs to wait for ROI,

Let ke tell you if successive govt had invested in productivity infrastructures like power plant, health care centre and transport system for instqnce ...i believe this would have yielded greater impact to the people and state at large

see i don't believe ROI on fixed deposit can bring me more More ROI on actual business or productiom, just to give clearer perspective, putting money to use is always more resourceful than savings
Savings is when adequacy as being met, sey yu get nsw, in school they taughtbus savings is for the Rich
u use to build feel good infrastructure
that means anambra would have waited 16yrs, is that tenable

Any idiot can build infrastructure if money is available even Someone like wike is doing it in Abuja

The real issues in government is making sure funds are available or creating path for future funds to be available without causing fiscal harm to the balance shit
there is no maic to generating Funds, what state must do is priorotize roductivity or be productive driven, explore your natural resources as a leverage to maximize earning
the talliest building cocoa house in ibadan was built ftom cocoa money generate in that state at the time ...thats the clearer picture

hat is exactly what YOU are saying. Sauce for the goose and all that.

Yeah, and prices have gone up again. Welcome to the harsh reality of doing business...where prices of supplies have no respect for the customer.
Bro don't patronize me, Price is not the problem here,, everywhere prices slope up or down ward But we are talking human factor here peculiar to Nigerians that the conversation, 1st is none living thing so it has no business respecting or not

What we have is a Market where Sellers/Suppliers take advantage of failed consumer protection/govt to explot Nigerians, all they need do is gang up nd anythimg goes, i believe you know what i am talking about but you are playing clever by half

It's because government for over fifty years was protecting us from these things via a subsidy >(which pushed us into debt and wrecked our naira by the way) that we did not see these things.
You mustbbe kidding, what do you mean Govt protected us, was it not in this country Marketers imported bad substandard fuel that knocked peoples car ... who was held accountable, any compensation.
Do you know how many time Marketets sired Artificial scarcity that made life difficult for people and Nigerians spent hours at stations, paying triple the price. what protection ? subsidy that these same rogues were using to cash out big time, tankers were diverted to neighbouring countries ...Do you think Nigerians are dummies

Same thing happens with every other business by the way. And to guard against price fluctuations, businessnes have to set their prices as high as possible, or else.
Bro leave grammar, price flunctuation is inevitable All we demand is transparency and prices that reflect Truth and fairness, But No when price go down, they wil alll block there ears nobody wan reduce next minute it goes up they are jet speed to increase ...whats that undecided old stock scrap

If dangote refinery goes to scrap because you want N200 fuel, you know say we go send our scarce forex to foreign refineries, and naira would reach N8000 to one dollar in weeks shey?
oga commot for here with childish talk, You are clearly being unreasonable , when int'l market price drop to $70 no reason why a litre should sell above 1k but it went on ... thats what are saying, increase or decrease let price reflect standard benchmark .

When you have just stated that the petroleum sector should not make a profit by this comment.
i said business should not make profit ..... Bro shame on you ..smh

Seriously man, start a business, and you will see why I am right. It's a jungle out there.
oga commot for here jare, we are talking over pricing and expliotation, he is saying rubbish who is saying dont make profit, if e easy open filling station sell at 3000k per litre since business goal is to maximize profit

IT'S LIKE U DULL ON UNDERSTANDING

ISAID
NIGERIAS PROBLEMS STEM FROM 2013/ 2014 WHEN WHEN CRUDE PRICES CRASHED
ND WE STOPPED GETTING FREE $89B DOLLARS PUMPED INTO OUR ECONOMY EVERY YEAR
FOR DOING NOTHING

B4 2013 OVER 95% OF NIGERIA''S REVENUE
CAME FROM CRUDE OIL SALE

TODAY ITS LESS DAN 30%
ATIMES WE GET NOTHING

BRO!!
U TALKING ABOUT UNEMPLOYMENT , INSECURITY ETC DAT ESCALLATED
LOL!!!
EVEN THE USA HAD PREDICTED DAT NIGERIA WOULD B GONE BY 2015
HOW WE SURVIVED IS STILL A MIRACLE
Sime us were born before 2013/14 ... Nigeria had always had Multi facet Problem, from insecurity to Non payment of salaties, hence ASUU strike, Labour strikes and Doctors strikes at different times .. To you Nigeria problen stem fron 2013, maybe thats your Age talking

When we had 89bn pumped into the economy Was Nig eria good .. Eedris sang Jigeria jagajaga, You talk as if when we had oil boom Nigerians went off the poverty radar ... we stil had bad roads, poir health centre and poor electricity, we had infrastructure deficit .. So Nigeria Problem didnt stem fron 2013/14 ...ko rest

Speaking of Dependences on Oil revenue, Most of us have always championed the course for diversification, we must explore other resources & Agriculture But Not TAX as Alternate and thats the probllem we are having now, despite widen the TAx net ... the results are not reflecting Positive impacts.

When we say we must Diversify we meant into Agriculture,, explore more gas to export and tap into other Sectors nigerians have leverage at
Buh Tinubu administration came in desperate for fast Money, they opt for the easy route TAX and levy people to stupor forgetting it comes with adverse effects .. they are shouting more revenue Buh they can't justify it either with impacts or budget performance

We needed Revenue ... Oprimizing/scale up our crude production could have being progressive

Swift initiatiion of policies that promote & foster large scale productoon could have influence the evonomy Positively over time nd trickle down to households

You are a Big joke, When America predicted Nigerians might not outlive 2015, only gullibles fell for it ... i know countries that have gone bankrupt but none is extinct even till today
i also see APC sychopants Saying if Tinubu had not become president, Nigeria wont have survived till today, Zimbabwe is red broke for years, have they gone extinct

why did America not forsee Zimbabwe go extinct,So if Tinubu drops today like Yaradua, bye bye to Nigeria. Don't worry you wil see what the next administration will say about Tinubu regime tew )

I guess you say that about every person you buy something from.

Businesses do not exist to favour you, they exist to favor the owner, their suppliers, their shareholders and the staff. Maybe not in that order.

If dangote starts selling fuel at N100, you will be happy, but there would be no money for maintenance, expansion, and payment of staff, suppliers, and so forth.

And then the refinery becomes scrap, and we would be back to wasting scarce forex on petrol imports again. To say nothing of loss of jobs.

Some of you need to leave the parent;s house and get a real job. I'm being harsh, because the world does not owe you a living.
stop being mischevious, Why are you misconstruing,
Did anyonr say businesses should not sell at profit

what Men like him his talking about expliotation by business owners, where they cheat consumers in prices, in quality and quantity most seen in the oil sector
The world witness a drastic drop in the Int'l fuel price for over a month, the marketers, dangote & govt feigned UNAWARE, even when pricez was reduce it wasnt reflecting int'l market price

when prices fall we here excuses of old stock buh when prices Rises they jump on it fast ... Thats what we are talking About stop playing clever by have

you go to filling station, the 20 litre you buy is not 10litres that enter your tank but you paid for 20litres ..thats what we are talking

Don'tbcome feignng clever by half, Saying we dont want business to made profit

TRUTH IS
BTW 2014 & 2023 GEJ &PMB COULDNT SOLVE THE MOST BASIC PROBLEM OF REPLACING JUST A FRACTION OF THAT FREE $89B OIL REVENUE WITH NON OIL REVENUE..
REASON WHY 27 OF 36 STATES WHERE STILL UNABLE TO PAY WAGES BY 2023

MY BRODA!!!
GONE ARE THE DAYS WHEN GOVT DOESNT THINK OF GENERATING REVENUE
WHEN DEY JUST WAIT FOR FREE $89B CRUDE OIL REVENUE TO DISTRIBUTE AMONGST DEMSELVES
LOL ! You are just reciting what your seniors in govt say to our hears All the time, impact is the true test of any performance, if you like use all the word in evonomic textbook to demonstrate what you just did ... No Impact na waste of time

Generating revenue by extorting, levies and Over Taxation is not nurititional to the economy, You will make the Revenue But the economy wont flourish ...thats what is evidently happening to Tinubu economic now,, you can't Tax yourself to prosperity

when Tinubu supporters shoutswe are making more Revenue .... is it from productivity ?? these are the isssues, We have wasted 3yrs shouting More Revenue but our budget performance is deteriorating, shamefull. infact we now run 3 budget concurrently a rare abberation,. We cant even meet up 20% of our capital expenditure is that not a contradiction on More Revenue ... the true test of more revenue is your National budget performance not Govenor pay salary, You apc lots need to stop insulting our intelligence

Previous govt deapite paying subsidy ...they built roads, e.g 4th mainland bridge and mega rail stations, FG didnt owe workers salary, infact Buhari gave bailout funds to goverbors despite the burden of subsidy

WHAT HAPPENED TO NIGERIA BTW 2013 ND NOW IS NOT JUST INSECURITY
IT'S A LACK OF GOVT REVENUE
WHICH LEAD TO THE INABILITY OF THE NATION TO GOVERN IT'S SPACES
You are just being insensitivity IF you think the only problem Nigeria aa face in the last 3yrs is just insecurity, let me remind you

under 3yrs of Tinubu,.. we had more Unemployment and businesses folding up

in last 3yrs we had more National grid collapase than any under administration

in the last 3yrs IMF warned More Nigerians have slupped below poverty line.

in the last 3yrs we have witness Biggiest SCAM in our National history, Refinery is back and fake presideagency

TRUST ME!!
MORE GOVT REVENUE IS THE BEGGINING OF THE SOLUTION TO INSECURITY, POWER, REFINERY ETC
WE JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE REVENUE ISN'T WASTED THIS TIME
i keep repeating it, you need to go back to school, Yes Govt need Revenue just like every human need food, lemme drop an analogy

there are some foods if thats what you eat daily you won't grow well, imagine drinking Garri every day, it is food buh you endup looking unhealthy .. thats TAX nd levies mode of revenue syndrome

So also we have foods if you eat everyday you look fresh and healthy, bean, rice, chicken, ... that Productivity driven mode of revenue

clear these govt is Revenue driven, buh prioritizing Tax mode over productivity mode is why there are no impacts to backup claims they make All the time

check budget performance on capital expenditure and justify that More Revenue noise pollution again

After crowning Alex Otti as one of the greatest politicians to ever walk the earth, second only to Peter Obi, they now have to explain how that same Alex Otti is praising the very Tinubu they insist has done absolutely nothing.

Selective logic is about to begin. Pass the popcorn.
first, That you think Nigeria is divided into APC & obedient depict you aint even reasonable at ALL

2ndly, Alex otti is not even a politician,he as being a clergy man all his life nd therefore should be deemed more of a technocrat rather
So claiming some people crown him best politician alive. makes no logical sense, nothing Alex otti do that like of Akpabio, fashola, Ambode, Obiano, even a Wike did exceptional

Alex otti is a Nigerian he is entitle to his opinion,, his "Motive" shouldnt come as a surprise, We've seen how over 30governors are singing Tinubu praises for free more Money they and exclusive protection to loot the funds as they want in return for support in 2027
Alex otti is a beneficiary of Tinubu gracious offer, and he is looking for 2nd term we understand why he is calling white, Back
which governor looking for 2nd term is currently opposing Tinubu govt, Taiwo what is different about Alex Otti's claim

Nnpc buy largely from Dangote, and the price they sell is not lesser than Dangote price .... so who dem subsidize for us

i don't fuel being cheaper than whats reflect on int'l market price ... so which subsidy are they lying about , una thief koney una dey lie say na subsidy

According to fact Dangote is not the only Bilionaire in Nigeria, why are other billionaire avoiding to build a standard Refinery

if not for Dangote, You know we could have thougt Refinery is the only LUXURY nigeria can't afford

if dangote is acting Monopoly, We gave him that license, Do you know how many private jet we have in Nigeria, instead of complain Dangote is this Dangote is that, why can't you push your govt to build a National refinery, that singular act put Dangote in line .. very simple

Who will believe this useless government over Dangote refinery officials? It's extremely difficult to believe a government that thrives on lies, deceits and propaganda.

Thank God that the entire country doesn't completely depend on Dangote. If that was the case, we would've returned to the era of fuel scarcity by now.
As much as i agree with you to a large extend, the presence of Dangote is why we can never have scarcity in Nigeria,

Now i understand Dangote better, Nnpc are playing smarrt, they expliot Dangote by supplying less crude to the refinery just so they would have more to export and recieve Dollar

here is the scam in Naira for crude ... they supply dangote e.g 15% crude and ploy buy 30% PMs

so Nnpcc n marketers are enjoying more of crude Dangote bought in $$ ..that is the scam dangote want to stop

if you supply me 15% crude in Naira, in return you must get 15% pms back in naira, what i buy in naira is what i supply in naira ...no more take advantage of naira crude

what ever reservations we have about Dangote, on a deep processing you will realize he is just a business man, is job is not to look out for Us when the govt you all vote are busy frauding the system

If he needs FX, the once he exports to other country should provide him the needed FX.
it doesnt make sense rite ! But what makes should start from the Top don't you think as car head go na in car body must follow

why did FG renege on the Naira crude agreement, why are we always quick to jold dangote shirt as if na we give am Money to build refinery

i expect Nigerians to be dragging FG by now, Dangote have to hustle for $$ to buy crude from his own nation , whats more shameful

So what morale standi does FG have to tell Dangote to sell in Naira, when they themselves are the " Error"

DomPerignon:
How is this stringent ?

As a former governor he ought to have people that can meet those bail demands .

The monetary aspect and landed property ownership are not hard for someone like El Rufai to get 2 people in Kaduna to sign on his behalf.

El Rufai can even cough out that amount on behalf of his sureties

So what is stringent about this ?

It's the case of phone tapping that is being prosecuted by the DSS that has more stringent demands which the judge set for him that will be difficult for El Rufai to meet , one of which was to get serving civil servants at Grade level 17 who own properties in Maitamma, Abuja.

As per this bail set by the Kaduna State High Court, El Rufai can easily meet it but even if he does, he still won't be free as he is still facing another charge for phone tapping before an Abuja Federal High Court.

That is the one he can't meet because I doubt there are any serving civil servants who own properties in Maitamma. The ones who did have probably sold theirs or have since retired.
Do you even understand english at ALL, is court asking el rufai to bring his friends or present a level 17 civil servant that has #houses worth #200m

which civil servant wan get #200m houses for naija, how much be there salary a year, Even if a civil servant has #200m house dem no born am well make e kum out cos thats like setting himself on Fire, you can never defend how you can sign #200m bond and present COF to 200m houses

.the council that wil verify is just like sending Atiku to go get clearance from Wike🤣

You can't read those bail condition nd not see the court just wan deny him bail codedly, the court will argue we didnt deny him bail naw,
if i ask you to go bring the eye lash of a lion, You cant say i deny you bail

You self get time to dey reply those fools. That is why Atiku is making the same mistake over and over again because he doesn't seem smart or intelligent. From that rescued teacher's narratives, there is nothing contradict initial claim of federal government at all. Our security forces used the best method in the world to avoid direct confrontation with those kidnappers to ensure all of them came out alive. They go after their relatives and contacts to mount pressure on them for their save release. After their released, military force attacked them, which led to 8 arrest and other neutralized.

These guys might know so something about this abduction but are using false claim to justify being witch hunt when FG eventually discover the truth. Honestly ,I keep wondering how any rational being will believe that Tinubu or APC will plan abduction of school children and the teachers in his own region south west to tarnish his image when election is just a few months away.

Some people no just get sense.

What's difficult in understanding that the freed teacher didn't contradict government in anyway?

Government pressured the kidnappers to free the victims. After they released the victims, common sense would tell you that the soldiers who already surrounded the place would not just walk away. They'll attempt to arrest the terrorists. During that attempt, there'll be a shoot out, and of course, there was one in which a soldier died. But eventually, arrests were made.

To the victims, the situation would look as though they were released. But to the government and the soldiers, they were rescued. Government pressures and might were major factors that led to their release, otherwise, the story would have been different.

It is a shame on Atiku if he expects to be spoonfed with such details as this. Some people, and infact, many people just have low IQ.
just listen to yourself over, see what sycophancy naa our party sydronme reduce you to

So as a victim, if you are that forest and there was gun shootout bullets flying left right ...you won't know because you are a one day old baby or dem use Jbl speaker do headphone for you

According to the military & govt they claimed they surrounded the kidnappers, meaning no route to escape without running into ambush

So the kidnappers killed soldiers, meaning there was a shoot out ... But our gallant soldiers can not present one kidnapper they killed in cross fire

We know the govt can never be trust, was it not APC govt that staged Nigerian Airway, commissioned ilies

what it not same APC that commissioned staged Rice pyramid and also launched Refinery is back and working ... when we raise objection apc kids call us enemy of progress, bad new mongers, state enemy

Health › Re: Mary Habila: You Do Not Need To Belong To NSP To Practice Physiotheraphy by chidiokay: 5:22am On Jul 18
Seun2019:
Today, I read an "official statement" from Nigeria Society of Physiotheraphy where it was stated that the late Mary Habila was not a physiotheraphist because she did not belong to the society.

Please see here: https://www.nairaland.com/8710907/mary-habila-not-registered-physiotherapist

This statement is not only misleading, it is grossly incorrect.

The essence of this topic is therefore not to defend the deceased (or Dave Umahi, the Minister of Works) but to enlighten those who may have been misled by the statement and state what the law says.

In Nigeria, you do not need to belong to the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (NSP) to legally practice physiotherapy in Nigeria.

Apart from being a graduate, you only need to be registered and licensed by the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB).

MRTB is the federal government agency empowered by law to regulate the profession and issue practicing licenses.

Below are the four steps to legally practice physiotheraphy in Nigeria.

1. Earn a Degree: Hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT or BMR) or a Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) from an accredited university.

2. Complete Internship: Undergo a mandatory one-year clinical internship at an accredited hospital.

3. Register with the MRTB: Complete your registration and obtain your legal license.

4. Complete NYSC: Fulfill the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) requirement, if applicable.

So, you do not need to be a member of Nigerian Society of Physiotheraphy (NSP)

NSP is just a professional association and labor embodiment for physiotherapists in Nigeria.

It is nothing but a pressure group that defends the rights of therapists, provides continuing education, and offers professional indemnity.

Its membership is voluntary, though it is recommended for career networking and professional growth.

NSP is just like Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) which is another pressure group. You do not need to belong to NMA before you can practice medicine in Nigeria.

Thank you
