Fellow Nairalandas, It is a pity that we just have to crash out of the world cup this way, and just very soon like that, but any way we are still in Nigeria.
Now let us ask our selves this question; 'Do we really need a foreign coach? ' ' Does it mean that coaching is the problem with our soccer', not only Nigeria now, the entire universe. 'Does it means that Africans can not even coach them selves'.
Now let us all look at Asians countries that came for the competition {World Cup}. Japan, Korea, and host of others, pls. let us all look at these people coaches, and even their pattern of play, AFRICANS, every time we say our economy is bad, yet we employ white man to come and teach us what we even know more than him, and still pay lots of money. If is supposing to be our own black skinned Man, We'll pay him peanut, and if any mistake comes up, we either demote him, or crucify him with our mouths,and pens.
Fellow Nigerians, what is wrong with our football.
Let us go to other sports. The last Olympic games we had, what was the position of AFRICA as a nation, and most especially my country Nigeria, What was our performances then, have we started practicing for the next one?, is it not Kangaroo practices we do?.
Fellow AFRICANS, I think our leaders should know that we can even boost our economy with by putting more into sport development in AFRICA, look at today worldwide we hear European League, Premiership, Laliga, and the rest of them all around them there, why cant we develop our own SPORTS too AFRICANS?

If you don't know, let me tell you that Prophet Muhammad is your Prophet, my Prophet, our Prophet, the Prophet sent to the world, even to you that hate hearing his mission. A man who never learnt how to read or write, but can teach a Professor how to spend his life time. can teach you how to do business and make more money, how to be great in life. Examples of the Prophet's sayings
The Prophet (SAW) said:
1. 'God has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others.'
2. 'None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself.'
3. 'He who eats his fill while his neighbor goes without food is not a believer.'
4. 'The truthful and trusty businessman is associated with the prophets the saints, and the martyrs.'
5. 'Powerful is not he who knocks the other down when fighting, indeed powerful is he who controls himself in a fit of anger.'
6. 'God does not judge according to your bodies and appearances but He scans your hearts and looks into your deeds.'
7. 'A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. God forgave his sins for this action.' The Prophet (SAW) was asked: 'Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?' He said, 'There is a reward for kindness to every living thing.'

So pleas let us all say may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him AMEEN.

my dear friend, thank you for this you wrote. But it is a pitty you used a very stong language by saying one of their worthless ahadiths. My beloved friend, if you wish to know hadith 4:74, it goes:Hadith 4.74
Narrated by Abu Huraira "Allah's Apostle said, "Once Solomon, son of David said, '(By Allah) tonight I will have sexual intercourse with one hundred (or ninety-nine) women each of whom will give birth to a knight who will fight in Allah's cause.' On that a (i.e. if Allah wills) but he did not say, 'Allah's willing.' Therefore only one of those women conceived and gave birth to a half-man. By Him in Whose Hands Muhammad's life is, if he had said, "Allah's willing', (he would have begotten sons) all of whom would have been knights striving in Allah's cause."

And this is what the holy Qur'an Chapter 4: Vrs. 74 said " Let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah whether he is slain or gets victory soon shall We give him a reward of great (value). "
My beloved friend , fighting in the cause of Allah is not that we carry, weapons to arm, maim, or even kill our selves, what it means is that, you use all what you have to strive to the cause of Allah; your money(wealth), health, position .e.t.c., anything you can do, to the cause of Allah, excluding killing, and the likes. Now you as a human being if your child, or whoever does what you say, or ordered, won't you reward such person?, so this brought about the reward you saw there
