Al hamdu li LLahi Robbi li aalameen. This is 2012, and 1433 Ramadon, we still need to move closer to Allah, even more than we did during the holy month of Ramadan. Why must it be that it is only during the month of Ramadon that our rich people pay radio and t.v stations to call Adhan?. Must it be only this month we help the poor?, must it be this month we give much to the needy. Pls. brothers and sisters what can you say on these issues?

Fellow NL members pls. let's advice them on what to do, and how sure are we that these people are reading this our trend, or is there any other channel we can get in touch with them, or how best can they listen to us. Thanks

uplawal, honestly speaking it is a good question, but you shouldn't have made mention of any tribe. Human being are different from one another. You can not say because a short man has done you bad for once in your life, so therefore all short men are bad, likewise a tall person, like wise in religion, likewise in tribe. If you meet another Ibadan Man, you'll think there is no better man on earth other than him. I know of a twin sister who are married to two Ibadan men, one is finding life easy with her Ibadan husband, while the other divorced the Ibadan husband sometimes 2010, because of series of misunderstanding, complains here and there saying Ibadan men her bad, while the other is saying Ibadan men are the best. While Allah's Apostle was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of Allah's Apostle and the third one went away. The two persons kept on standing before Allah's Apostle for a while and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Apostle finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah, so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise. "

I really don't think there exist a hadith that directly mentions that; it's rather a consensus of Muslim scholars which decreed that one should not pray while wearing a vest/singlet. That's so because it (the singlet) does not cover your body well. Think about it: can you meet your superiors while dressed like that? Sure no. Then who deserves more respect: Allah, The Creator or parent/in-law/boss/etc.? You see. But if it's all you get for the moment and you may not get a shirt or something to cover up and you fear the elapse of time (period of the Solat), then you are allowed to pray like that - or even without clothes - it's permissible.

On the authority of Abu Zarri Al-Gafaarii {May Allah be pleased with him}, from the Prophet {SAW}, is that among his sayings he relates from his Creator (i.e. HADEETH QUDSI). ALLAH SAID:

O My slaves, you commit sin by night and day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My slaves, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and you will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My slaves, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious heart of anyone man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My slaves were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My slaves, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more than a needle decrease the sea if put into it. O My slaves, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for. So let him who finds good, praise Allah, and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself.

Simply insert the windows cd on your pc, go to control panel, click regional and language options, click advanced, select langauage from drop down menu, then allow pc to copy files from cd, reboot. you have a small icon down right where you can change arabic/english.

The specific prayers during the month of Ramadan, which are known as tarawih, are sunnah for both men and women, and they are to be performed after the obligatory 'isha and before the performance of the witr. They should be prayed in sets of two rak'at each. It is allowed to pray them after witr; though, this is not the best thing to do. They may be performed until the end of the night.
Abu Hurairah reports that the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam would encourage people to perform the special prayers during Ramadan without commanding them as obligatory and he said: "Whoever prays during the nights of Ramadan [tarawih] with a firm belief and hoping for reward, all of his previous sins would be forgiven." This is related by the group.
'Aishah says: "The Prophet offered salah in the mosque and many people prayed with him. The next day he did the same and more people prayed with him. Then the people gathered on the third night but, the Prophet did not come out to them. In the morning, he said to them: 'Surely I saw what you did, and nothing prevented me from coming out to you, save that I feared that [that prayer] would be made obligatory upon you.' And that was during Ramadan." This is related by the group except for at-Tirmidhi .

The answer is YES, it is God's word, from the begining of the First Chapter to end of the last chapter. Les't go to the 4th chapter of the Qur'anu L kareem[b]

Here is an amazing formula for getting the first page of every JUZ' you intend searching for in the Qur'aan.

Let's say we intend knowing what page Juz' 9 falls for example.

Just follow this illustration carefully:

The Juz we intend knowing it's page is '9'
'1' will be deducted from 9= 8.
8 will further be multiplied by 2= 16.
The number '2' will there after be added to the right side of 16= 162.
That is simply the page of Juz nine (162). Try it out for other Juz's

it may be best that you ask them if they know any hadith that forbids praying for a deceased muslim, while you have presented to them at least the hadith above to clearly support your argument.

the other question should be if they accept that the statement of Muhammad [as] is te highest among mankind. if they disagree, you should ask them to give who is higher than him and why. if they agree that his statement is the highest, ask them why they are rejecting the hadith you presented.

if Muhammad [as] is the only one Quran is revealed to, it s obvious that Allah allowed him to explain what needed to be explain so that the heart accepts now that his explanation brings full understanding that is enough to completely guide as Allah Wills.

a person who rejects such a hadith must have a reason or lacks knowledge. if the former is the case and the reason is unfounded, a sincere believer will accept a clear evidence. if the later is the case, when knowledge that does not disagree with Quran but complements it is provided, the sincere believer takes it in.

our affair is made easy and completed, already while the messenger [as] was with his companions [ra].
